Dependin! on t e amount of files t at s ould 7e searc ed2 t e duplicate files detection process ma" ta<e from a couple of seconds for tens of files to a few ours for lar!e file s"stems containin! millions of files. Durin! t e duplicate files detection process2 DupScout will displa" t e process dialo! s owin! t e total amount of processed files2 t e num7er of detected duplicate files and t e amount of t e wasted stora!e space. 8nce t e detection process is completed2 DupScout will displa" t e list of all detected duplicate file sets sorted 7" t e amount of t e wasted stora!e space. In order to connect DupScout to an S6L data7ase2 t e user is re?uired to define an 8D:- data source in t e computer w ere DupScout is installed on and to specif" t e 8D:- data source in t e DupScout options dialo!. 8pen t e options dialo!2 select t e FData7aseF ta72 ena7le t e 8D:- interface and specif" a %alid user name and password to connect DupScout to an S6L data7ase.
