HOBBIES & INTERESTS Reading, writing, playing games, listening to music and digital photography. MINISTRY GOAL Students are our future and therefore must teach them in such a way for them to be the future leaders of the church. The way to do this is in discipleship training. Discipleship training involves many faces of ministry. These include: Sunday school, Sunday Nights, Wednesday Nights and small groups. The point of each of these times of study is meant to teach different aspects of discipleship. Bible studies for these different meetings will range from introducing them to the Bible to such things as teaching time how to grow further in their faith. This is so that the students understand what they believe in and can also defend their faith when needed. PERSONAL STATEMENT I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior at the age of 9. The passion for ministry began a couple years later when a friend and I created a ministry. The ministry collected Bibles and distributed them to those who had no Bible. The call to ministry officially came while at Falls Creek church camp in Oklahoma in 2001; though the call was not specific at the time. Originally, I felt called to be a missionary. The call to youth ministry came in the summer of 2006. I was given the opportunity to lead Sunday school at my local youth group. To help further this call I have gone on to further my education. The education I have been pursuing is a major in Religious Education with a specialization in youth ministry; with a minor is Business Administration. The call to youth ministry was solidified even further when I was given the opportunity to be the part-time youth minister at First Baptist Church of Matador, Texas.
