Why Is Religion So Important? Have you ever just sat and contemplated "Why is religion so important"?

Why do people care so much? I mean it's only a belief, but to other people it's ho they live! It's ho "i lived! #o some of you might not li$e hat side of this my opinion is on, and that's %&! Isn't that hat e're supposed to do ith this is argue! Here's the bac$ground to my topic! I chose it because I felt confident I could do it! So, "i had three religions he belonged to 'hristianity ('atholocism), Islam, and Hindu! He as very active in all three religions and his personal belief as that *+ll religions are true,! I personsonally don't agree ith this because some of the doctorines -od put there ere changed by people to form ne religions, so that they could change the rules to fit hat they anted to believe! If e did this in real life then e ouldn't have any la s governing us! Some might as$ "Ho can you believe in something li$e that"? Well, it's simple curiosity and faith! "i had those things and much more! He as curious about other religions enough to the point that he as active in three at the same time. /hat's ama0ing and I thin$ e should all be that ay. 1ut it's $ind of hard to be li$e that hen e are so used to being close minded! +ll e have to do is as$ a friend of a different faith to tell us hat they believe! +nother might ma$e claims li$e "Religious people only go hen they're in need of something"! %& you're cra0y if you actually believe that. I am 23S (4ormon)! I $no that not all people do that! I don't go to church for three hours every Sunday, plus mutual t o hours, plus seminary, and on top of that some of it on my o n time 56 minutes a day! So I average at eight hours a ee$ that I choose to spend, out of the 789 hours a ee$ e have! I thin$ "i spent a lot more time than that ith his religions! It's really not that hard once you get used to it! %nce you get used to it then it becomes part of your life it's li$e a drug, you can't go ithout it or else your day goes bad. I've e:perienced that myself! "Religious people believe in -od." Well yeah. -od or gods are the foundation of any religion! If e didn't orship someone li$e -od than hat ould be the point! I $no "i believed in something in that verse because "i even said himself he couldn't believe his ears hen his teacher had told him he doesn't believe in religion because religion is dar$ness! "i $ind of ma$e sense though, because if you thin$ about the human body and the ay it functions there has to be some $ind of intelligence involved!
