API 6D plug valve is designed according to API 6D2002. Flanged connection ends and inspection and testing are also based on API 6D2002. This kind of plug valve is applied for petroleum, natural gas, water etc. working temperature: -29~429 2) MATERIAL OF ACCESSORY Body and plug: ASTM A216 WCB. Stem: ASTM A182 F6a. Plug face is deal with nitriding in order to reduce the abrasion. Bolt is according to ASTM A193 B7 and ASTM A194 2H. All the material is accordance with NACE MR 0175.

3) INSTALLATION Disassemble the packing of valve carefully. Please inspect the label and tag according to material, specification, and list. Please check whether the parameter of nameplate is consistent with the Working condition. Inspect whether the valve pipe is clean or not. If it is eroded, you should install after cleaning. Dont need to disassemble and check. This kind of valve must be installed on the horizontal pipe or the vertical pipe which Flow upwards. After installing, please clean the pipe with water to wipe off the rubbish, and prevent the sealing face from being scraped about the installation of flanged connection BW and SW, please refer to MSS valve instruction. 4) USAGE API 6D plug valve is used as medium to cut off in the pipeline system. Please clean the medium to prevent sealing face from being leaked or frayed.

5) MAINTENANCE The valve should be putted in the dryness and aeration room. Dampproof, waterproof, antirust, fire safe, Defend the low temperature Valve should be closed during transport and deposited. Both sides of the way should be sealed by cover. Please inspect the abrasion of sealing face regularly. If be demolished, please repair or change it immediately Please inject grease to the plug valve regularly and confirm sealing. Note 1. When maintain the valve, in order to avoid accident , please dont operate under the pressure. 2. Warning: when maintaining and transporting the valve which have the baleful medium, operator should wear protective clothes and equipment. 3. We suggest the user should refer to MSS valve instruction (MSS SS--92--1987 (1992)) to install, operate and maintain the plug valve.
