1.0

Purpose
To equip all employees and sub-contractors at all levels with the required skills, knowledge and attitudes related to the operations, work processes and maintenance of facilities / equipment. The objective is to enable them to carry out their jobs safely and in a reliable manner.

Procedure
6.1 Environmental Occupational Health & Safety Training Program

Managers and Group Environmental Occupational Health & Safety Committee shall identify safety & health training needs for their employees and sub-contractors. The EOHS training programmes shall be highlighted to the HR Manager and reflected in a yearly Training Programme maintained by the Document Controller. 6.2 Environmental Occupational Health & Safety Training Needs

Environmental Occupational Health & Safety Instruction courses and Mandatory Safety & Health Training course under Workplace Safety & Health Act and their subsidiary legislations shall be provided to all relevant employees. Types of statutory and recommended training can be those as stated in Table 1 at Section 6.6. Workers Trained in methods and skills required to perform their task (e.g. proper operation of instruments, tools, equipment, reading and understanding of documentation and accident prevention at workplace) Management Trained with proper understanding of EOHSMS and their responsibility in environmental, occupational health & safety in the yard and project sites

6.3

In-house Environmental Occupational Health & Safety Orientation Training

All newly hired / transferred employees shall be adequately oriented to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their responsibilities safely. PM / Yard Manager is responsible for ensuring the development of an in-house environmental, health & safety orientation training course in consultation with the Group Environmental Occupational Health & Safety Committee Chairman. HR Manager shall be responsible for ensuring that all newly hired or transferred staff undergoes safety orientation training by the Environmental Occupational Health & Safety personnel. EOHS Orientation Training attendance shall be maintained by the Document Controller. New employees shall be briefed in the following aspects of environmental, occupational health & safety during the orientation: QEOHS Policy Environmental Health & Safety roles and responsibilities as an employee, and as Manager where applicable In House EOHS Rules & Regulations Incident & Emergency Reporting Procedures Emergency Response Procedures First Aid Facilities PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements Safe work procedures with regard to machinery/ equipment Any other safety requirements pertaining to new staff scope of work 6.4 Environmental Occupational Health & Safety Induction for Sub-Contractor

PM / Yard Manager shall be responsible for ensuring that all sub-contractors of category defined under EOHSMS-08 undergo a Environmental Occupational Health & Safety induction training by the EOHS personnel. Sub-Contractors shall be briefed in the following aspect of Environmental Occupational Health & Safety during orientation: Quality Environmental Occupational Health & Safety Policy In-House EOHS Rules and Regulations PM / Yard Manager shall maintain the briefing / training records of trainees (contractors). 6.5 Documents Control and Records

Environmental Health & Safety training programs shall be documented and reviewed at least once every 12 months by the Group Environmental Occupational Health & Safety Committee in consultation with the Head of Departments. Attendance shall be taken for in-house training conducted in Ryobi Kiso using Environmental Occupational Health & Safety Training Attendance EOHSMS-03-F01. Document Controller shall maintain the yearly training programme and all relevant training records of trainees (employees only) such as course details, certificates, training attendance, and training materials using EOHS Training Summary EOHSMS-03-F02. Etc. Original certificates are given to the employees. Duplicates of the certificates are kept in the Employees Personal Files maintained by HR Manager.

Lists of Trained/ Competent Personnel shall also be maintained eg. trained first aiders, fire fighters, forklift drivers, riggers, lifting supervisors. 6.6 Table 1
