APPLICATIONS Designed and executed for use in pipeline systems, which convey fluids under pressure, neutral or potentially corrosive. The products situate into the category of accessories for pressure adjustment and meet the essential requirements for security insurance of users of pressure equipment covered by GD 584/2004. BENEFITS Construction which guarantees the separation of the two fluid paths on both sides of the valve upstream and downstream. Offered in two standard variants both with double bearing of the ball (trunnion): - demountable (dismantling) variant; - monoblock variant; Antistatic construction-electrical contact between all the metallic elements of the valve, fire safe design acc. to API 607; API6FA (ISO 10497) certified. Anti blow out stem design, sealing replacement can be done with the valve under pressure. Single, double or triple sealing: - single sealing metal/metal (SPE single piston effect); - double sealing: primary sealing metal/metal, secondary sealing metal/PTFE, - triple sealing (DPE double piston effect): primary sealing metal/metal, secondary sealing metal/viton assured by one of the upstream sealing system. The sealing is permanent and is assured by the springs positioned behind the seats. After the primary seal is used, the sealing is made by Viton gasket and after this one is wear, the sealing is assured by introduced sealing mastic. The specific structure of stem bearing and sealing the two functions of bearing and sealing are separated. Optionally with lubrication seat for the sliding bearings (stem + ball gaskets) - for gases as the working fluid. The valve type "block and bleed" allows to check the gaskets tightness degree from de ball without disassembling it from installation, both in opened or closed position. "Block and Bleed" type valve, allow verifying the degree of tightness of the seals without dismantling the installation area both in the open position and closed position. The standard version allows the pressure verification from the valves chamber using a pipe that has at one end a needle valve and a manometer.

Leakage rate A class, acc. to SR EN12266-2 (no leakage), or class I acc.to API598. Valves have the possibility to purge and vent and they have a device to check the annular space between the sealing seats. Corrosion protection is provided by high resistance paint and for options installed underground, the valves are provided (if there are no other explicit requirements) with polyurethane coating, which has an insulation resistance bigger than 27kV. The primary sealing is assured by the metal gasket. After the primary gasket is wear the sealing is provided by the Viton gasket. Basically the force that assures the pressing of the gaskets is provided only by springs, the gaskets sealing diameter is lower, in fact equal with the sealing diameter of the metal and the O-ring gaskets. The metal gasket assures the sealing if the O-ring gasket is damaged, at least till the injection of the emergency moulded gaskets. The force produced by (pressure x valve section) is taken by the bearing system of the ball.
