But they listened to other peoples opinions and some people said they didnt want wolves because they eat farm animals and other animals in the woods so the hunters cant hunt deer/elk. People are taking land from the wolves so they cant live where they did Anna Laura: why havent you written anything!!!??

Jessica: Conservationists arent against, wolves the wolf is included as a protected species. Some conservationists consider that controlled hunting can be part of management of viable wolf populations in Europe, and allowing this may ensure support from hunting associations for conservation measures.

Kalina At the border of slovakia hunters were found to have killed a whole pack of wolves Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Turkey have signed the convention and feeding wolves or approaching too closely might be dangerous, as most incidents where people have been injured by wolves in the last few years

Ariana They hold a range of attitudes, opinions, concerns, and preconceptions. The conservationists think of wolves as wonderful creatures which have to be preserved(or conserved) because they are a part of our culture and religion. Conservationists think of wolves as a species of community interest which have to be kept from extinction.

WOLF SPEECH

We are conservationists. We are here today to tell you our perspective about wolves. From our point of view, we think that everyone should respect and care for wolves. We have listened to many other peoples perspectives and we reckon that the people against wolves should not only think about themselves, but also about nature. Wolves have the right to live because if wolves are extinct then the entire food chain will fail. Wolves takes a very important role in nature and they are very important for us. Wolf depredation on sheep, cattle, goats, horses and domestic dogs occurs throughout wolf range, the percentage of livestock killed is often low compared to losses from disease and accidents. The emotional response to livestock depredation by wolves, and subsequent media reporting, is a more significant factor in influencing public opinion about wolves. Farm animals have been eaten by some wolves, but this only occurs when hunters hunt to much deer and elk in the wild consequently the wolves have nothing to eat. Farmers do not approve of this and want to get rid of wolves. We want to say that we want to protect wolves we want to because without them the food chain and other important systems will fail. Hunters also want to get rid of wolves because the eat the elk and deer and hunters dont have prey and sometimes the hunters hunt wolves, but in many countries, in Europe, this is illegal. In many countries in Europe, wolves live close to human settlements, but they need undisturbed areas and cover where they can raise pups unobserved. We have to connect with wolves, or we will never know what they think or who they really are. They are living things, not some toys you can play with. Some people just dont realize. Wolves stabilize the animal numbers and therefore help land grow the right way. They are stewards of the forest, and we dont seem to value them.
