Easy Peasys Bible Questions for 2 Corinthians Level L Read 2 Corinthians 1:1-11.

This is Pauls second letter to the Christians living in Corinth, Greece. 1. Why did Paul, and those with him, have so many troubles, even to the point of thinking they were going to die? (hint: verse 9) 2. Jesus tells us that we will have troubles. But the Scriptures also tell us that He will save us out of our troubles.

Read 2 Corinthians 3:7-18. 1. This is comparing the Old Testament and the New Testament. The law sentenced people to death because they couldnt obey the whole law. Jesus came to show us that it is by faith we can be saved. 2. It says that Christians are being changed to become more like whom? (hint: verse 18) Read 2 Corinthians 4:1-11. 1. Paul says that he has renounced secret and shameful ways. Do you have any secret sins that you need to confess? 2. It compares you to a clay jar. What is the treasure? 3. Did Paul have an easy life? Why or why not? 4. Jars of Clay The music group is called Jars of Clay. They got the name from this Bible chapter. Read 2 Corinthians 5:11-21. 1. What do verses 17 and 18 mean? Read 2 Corinthians 6:1-10. 1. How can Paul make people rich even if he is poor? How can he have nothing and own everything? Read 2 Corinthians 7:1-13. 1. What do you think are some things that pollute your body and mind and spirit that you should stay away from? 2. Paul struggled with fear. (verse 5) Its normal to have fears. But when we feel afraid, we can turn to God to comfort us, like He comforted Paul. Its not okay to let fear control you. Fear doesnt get to decide what you do. Paul didnt run away from serving God because he was afraid. He continued doing what he knew was right and God comforted him. You can say no to your fearful thoughts and tell them that you know God is with you and loves you and is taking care of you so you have nothing to be afraid of.

3. Paul talks about making someone sad in his last letter. He wrote to them about someone in the church living in sin, that they should make him leave the church. They did. The point wasnt to be mean. What was the point of making him sad? 4. We should never act like sin is okay. Sin is bad. It is rebellion against God. Read 2 Corinthians 8:1-14. 1. What is this passage about? 2. What does this passage teach about giving? 3. What does Paul mean when he says that things should be equal in verse 13? Read 2 Corinthians 9:6-15. 1. What kind of giver does God love? 2. Why should you give? Read 2 Corinthians 10:1-6 and 12:7-10. 1. Think of an example of a wrong thought that you sometimes have and explain how you can take that thought under your control and change your thinking to make it obey Christ. 2. How can we be strongest when we are weakest? 3. Memorize: My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. from 2 Cor. 12:9 4. Memorize: take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ from 2 Cor. 10:5 Read 2 Corinthians 13. 1. What does Paul tell them to do? 2. What does Paul pray for them?
