Guidelines for preparing Business Law assignment Ensure that you properly paraphrase your referred contents and give relevant citations and references as per Harvard Referencing Style (for more details http://libweb.anglia.ac.uk/referencing/harvard.htm )

Based on the case analysis, there should be a cohesive discussion on application of appropriate law. The solution should have a cohesive and orderly presentation like that of a story. Moreover, the discussion should be critical and argumentative in nature (taking an evaluative Yes or No stance, with proper support). Relevant support from literature is required to make the arguments valid. DO NOT CUT AND PASTE ANY CONTENT.

CASE 1 -Word limit- 500 words The structure of the writing may take the following style. You can answer the question in two major sections. In section 1 you can discuss the case (please refer page number 3 of 25 Part A in CASE WRITING METHOD that is available in MOVE)based on the following style: i) Introduction ii) Identification of Issue or issues iii) Relevant Laws iv) Application o of relevant laws and v)Conclusion You are expected to apply all the major laws and provisions that apply to the case. While you are writing the report, you can give a brief literature review about the concept and then apply the same to the case in an in-depth manner. Refer to text books and internet sources for examples and precedents to validate your arguments. (but properly paraphrase them. Do not cut and paste). In section 2 You are expected to write an Law essays (please refer page number 9 of 25 Part B in CASE WRITING METHOD that is available in MOVE) on the role of consumer law in promoting health and safety for consumers in Oman. Also provide relevant suggestions to prevent wrongdoings for consumers through your analytical review of related literature. You can refer to newspaper articles, web references etc., to validate your analysis and properly support with relevant examples. Do not cut and paste. The writings should reflect critical analysis of the given issues. You will be evaluated not based on the answer, but how do you arrive at and (later) how do you defend your answer.

CASE 2 (Word limit- 2000 words) All the four questions should be answered based on the context of the given case. Your answers can be based on case discussion type (please refer page number 3 of 25 part a in case writing method that is available in move) (or) law essays (please refer page number 9 of 25 part b in case writing method that is available in move) and that depends on the type of question asked. Even your answers can be a combination of both the types ( case discussion and law essays). For example question-c can be discussed under the 'law essay type' and question-d could discussed under both category (First answer the question using IARC Method and discuss the functions of dispute mechanism as essay type).
