HOWTO install and setup Visual Paradigm for UML (VP-UML)

INTRODUCTION Lab Notes All lab materials can be downloaded from http://norsamsiah.wordpress.com The materials are categorized under TU2943: Information Engineering Methodology.

Visual Paradigm for UML Software You will be using Visual Paradigm for UML (VP-UML) as your CASE tool of choice in the lab sessions. Unlike many other commercial based CASE tools available in the market (e.g Rational Rose), VP-UML provides a free software edition to be used by anyone, called VP-UML Community Edition. Please follow the steps below to install and configure your free copy of VP-UML software.

EDITION COMPARISON Since the UKM FTSM labs are equipped with enterprise edition VP-UML licenses, below is the comparison chart listed to show what is missing under Community Edition.
