TEACHING RESOURCES / VALUES Teaching aid and resources: An audio of song entitled How about you? Multiple Intelligences: Musical intelligences, intrapersonal intelligences.
1. Teacher plays an audio of song entitled How about you? 2. Teacher asks the pupils the action that they can find the song and using circle maps to list down their answers. 3. They also asks the pupils what they do during leisure time. 4. Then the teacher introduces what they are going to learn that day. 1. Teacher shows pictures of some actions. 2. Examples: dance, jump, swim, cook, play baseball, run. 3. Pupils guess the actions about the pictures and teacher drills the vocabularies used several times. 4. By using stick puppet, the teacher introduces the characters to the pupils. 5. Teacher acts as the character then tells the pupils what they characters like to do and do not like to do. 1. Teacher divides the pupils into five groups. 2. Then, the teacher gives pictures and two emoticons to each group. 3. In this activity, each group have to do the actions based on the pictures and show smile emoticon to shows I like to____. and sad emoticon to shows I do not like to__. 4. The other group will guess the action using full sentences. For example, if the group shows smile emoticon and do the swim action means the other group have to answer I like to swim. 5.
