Why consider CREEP FEEDING?

A new and exciting breeder cube will now be offered at PM Feed & Grain, 20-4 HE, a 20% crude protein and 4% Fat breeder cube with an exceptional vitamin and mineral pak to assist with increased energy. This feed can assist your cattle in times of stress that cold weather brings and while maintaining an adequate body condition for re-breeding and can assist with heavier weaning weights. This breeder cube is an all natural protein and fat source for your livestock.
PM Feed and Grain believes in using creep feed to add additional weight to calves when environmental conditions will not allow maximum gain from cows milk and grass alone. Creep feeding will also take some milk-pressure off the cow and allow her to maintain a better body condition when grazing conditions are tough, which have been experienced in our area recently. Ideal feed intake while creep feeding should be approximately 1.5% of body weight.

85 and 87+ Pellet

Designed for producers who creep feed calves while still on the cow, and prefer a pellet ration for trough feeding. PM Feed now has 85 and 87+ in a or pellet that has received positive reviews from commercial and show cattle producers alike. These feed products are available sacked, as well as in bulk. 12% Creep (3.25% Fat) and 14% Creep (3% Fat)

These creep feeds are highly palatable and assists transitioning young cattle to feed quickly without having to sort. Being a grain-based creep feed increases energy levels, thus assisting the producer to feed less pounds and maintain performance. These creep feeds are not filled with indigestible fibers, making them more digestible and are highly fortified with Vitamins A, D, E and trace minerals. (Copper free, allowing to be fed to sheep)

Horse Feed
10% Golden Grain Often referred to as Horse & Mule is a traditional ration for horse lovers. A high energy feed with guaranteed levels of calcium and phosphorous and also provides a supplemental source of required trace minerals, vitamins A, D, E and B-complex for a balanced diet.

Commercial and Show Cattle Feed Products

7-F An ideal ration to start freshly, weaned calves on feed, bulky, medicated and enough grain to introduce to those tender digestive systems that are mostly used to a higher liquid diet from their mothers milk and what little roughage the calves consume prior to weaning.

12% Sweet Horse Feed A textured high-energy feed with no high

roughage fillers, a 12% crude protein which meets or exceeds the protein requirements for most horses when fed with a good quality hay or pasture grazing. Provides a supplemental source of all required macro and trace minerals Vitamin A, D, E and B-Complex vitamins for a balance diet.

85 Recommended second feed step to introduce a higher grain diet yet

maintain roughage content in the ration to assist with added gain. This ration is a long-time favorite for many and will work on show cattle as well.

85+ (Plus) Similar to the 85 feed product, with an enhanced ration of

new vitamins and mineral pak that has proven great performance for enhancing weight gain.

14% Horse Pellets A pellet ration which pre-processes the ingredients and maximizes digestibility and nutrient utilization in the horses sensitive digestive tract. This ration contains added Fat and yeast culture to improve animal performance and endurance, while promoting better digestion and provides a supplemental source for all required macro and trace minerals, and Vitamins A, D, E. Considered to be a favorite among horseman for active, working horses and assists meeting the need of the more mature horse as well.

86 Considered an intermediate ration that follows 85 or 85+ has 2%

energy (Fat) and less crude protein (14%) to assist with intake and still meet the animals required protein and fat requirements while maintaining daily gain.

87+ Often referred to as the Finisher ration, has 3.5% energy (Fat) and
less crude protein (12%) to assist with daily gains. As cattle get heavier, crude protein requirements decrease, yet 12% crude protein will maintain optimal performance.

Sheep and Goat

K&B Goat Feed A 16% crude protein and 4% fat, high quality pellet
goat feed, medicated with Rumensin to aid in coccidiosis prevention in young goats. Ammonium chloride added for prevention of urinary calculi. This feed is a fully balanced and fortified ration with added minerals and vitamins to ensure a balanced feed for optimum growth for both show and market goats.

Ring Ready A 10% crude protein, 11% fat beet pulp filler supplement
that is palatable and increases the energy level to be used for cattle, both show steers and heifers, at livestock shows assisting in achieving the fresher, fuller look sought after by today's show ring judges and preparing show cattle for sale. Ring Ready also assists in holding a steer once the desired weight has been reached or can be used when a slow down in gain is desired. Ring Ready has also been used successfully on show heifers throughout the feeding period to assist with the fill or desired full appearance when fed along with regular daily ration. (We have received reports that

13% Maintenance Sheep/Goat 13% crude protein and 2.5% fat

content feed that delivers high energy and lower protein. Higher fiber replaces some forage intake, medicated with Deccox for prevention of coccidiosis and added Ammonium Chloride for prevention of urinary calculi.

J W Lamb Ration A complete feed for sheep with 14.5% crude protein and 3% fat contents formulated with a lower protein level which helps in lower feed costs and needs are met by good, quality forage. A combination of high quality protein sources insure efficient and adequate growth rates, medicated with Deccox for the prevention of coccidiosis in young animals. High energy ingredients ensure efficient and rapid growth to comprise our show lamb ration.
