QUESTIONNAIRE OCCUPATIONAL ROLE STRESS Non-Government Doctor People have different feelings about their occupational role. Statements describing such feelings are given below. Read each statement and indicate in the space against the corresponding numbers, how often you have the feelings expressed in the statement in relation to your role in your organization. STATEMENT
My role tends to interfere with my family life. I am not able to satisfy the conflicting demands of various people over me. My workload is too heavy. I have to do things in my role that are against my better judgment. I am not clear on the scope and responsibilities of my role (Job). I have various other interests (Social, religious etc.) which remain neglected because interpretations dont get time to attend these. I am too preoccupied with my present role responsibilities to be able to prepare for taking higher responsibilities. I am not able to satisfy the conflicting demand of the various per level people and my junior.

The amount of work I want to do interferes with the quality I want to maintain I am not able to use my training and expertise in my role. I dont know what the people I work with, expect of me. I am not able to satisfy the demands of clients and others, since these are conflicting with one another. I have been given too much responsibility. The work I do in the organization is not related with my interests. Several aspects of my role are vague and unclear. My Jobs responsibilities interfere with my personal life. The expectations of my seniors conflict with those of my juniors. There is need to reduce some parts of my role. If I had full freedom to define my role, I would be doing Something different from what I am doing now. My role has not been defined clearly and in details. My family and friends complain that I dont spend time with them due to heavy demands of my work role. I am not bothered with the contradictory expectations, different people have from my role. I feel over burdened in my role. I experience conflict between my value and what I have to do in my role. I am not clear as what are the priorities in my role.
