VILNIUS UNIVERSITY FACULTY OF LAW

International Conference of PhD Students and Young Researchers

INTEGRATING SOCIAL SCIENCES INTO LEGAL RESEARCH

10-11 April 2014

We would like to express grateful appreciation to our valued partners for their generous support of the International Conference of PhD Students and Young Researchers 2014

What is legal research? Is legal researchs primary aim merely to collate, organise and describe legal rules and offer commentary on corresponding authoritative legal sources? Or should it cover a range of disciplinary contexts within the social sciences, humanities and law? Should it relate the legal realm to the sociological, economic, political and other dimensions of human activity? To what extent is legal research interdisciplinary today and how diverse will it be tomorrow? These and other questions are important to the contemporary legal science and will be the core subject-matter of the Conference.

Venues: Vilnius University, Universiteto g. 3 & Vilnius University Faculty of Law, Saultekio av. 9 - I building, Vilnius Date: 10-11 April, 2014 Language of the Conference: English Attending the Conference is free of charge.
