Culural center Sihisoara

Sighisoara (UNESCO Heritage) is considered ,to be the most beautiful and well preserved inhabited citadel in Europe, with authentic medieval architecture. The location of the cultural center is in the at the limit of the protected area ,and wants to extend the cultural outside of the citadel in the lower city. The design of the building tries not to be aggressive to its surroundings and takes the silhouette of the old building but also keeps a modern language .

The site had an old structure,its facade was redone and the building was extended . The ground oor is very opened to the urban space ,wanting to create good connections between functions (museum ,library, shops, an open area for fairs and the multifunctional hall) and the exterior

Revitalization Project
Waterfront Dambovita

The reshaping of Dambovita's riverside is a school project and it was done to try to create quality urban space and to connect the city and the waterfront. We tried to create areas for all tips of people from tourists to locals ,from children to old people. And to create better connections within the city with adding of two new pedestrian bridges and rebuilding of the old ones .

To extend the pedestrian area we chose to divert car trafc from the national library to Timpuri noi . Near Unirii we placed an event pavilion followed by a landscaped area a bridge lowered to the water to not obscured the view for the pavilion Near the library we took advantage of the shape of the site and created galleries to bring the urban space closer to the water

Archaeological Museum

The archaeological museum is located in the center of the village and the ruins are buried in the ground that is why we chose to not have a masive new building and to lower museum space and the research area to better connect the labs to the ruins and to create an outdoor rute

Housing complex

The residential complex is located in near Gara de nord in Bucharest and near the site are located historical buildings .For this project the concept was to create to areas one for locals and the residents of the complex and the other to extend the urban space to the historical builings . The new builing design wants to keep the identity of the site .
