Tan Sri Dato Ananda Krishnan is one of the most popular and successful Malaysian businessman that has maintained his success rate consistently for past two decades. Tan Sri Dato Ananda Krishanan has many good characteristics and extraordinary leadership skills which contributed to his successful career as businessman. Tan Sri Dato Ananda Krishnan real name is Tatparanandam Ananda Krishnan. He was born in 1938 in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur to Tamil parents, who were Sri Lankan origin. He got his primary school at Vivekananda Tamil School, Kuala Lumpur, and then pursued his secondary education in Victoria Institution, one of Malaysias oldest schools. Later, as a Colombo Plan scholar, he attended the University of Melbourne, Australia for his B.A (Honours) degree majoring in political science. During his student days, he ventured into his first business which was a small scale horse race betting operation. This business has registered phenomenal growth after several years of struggling. Despite having a hugely grown business, Tan Sri Dato Ananda Krishnan pursued his graduate studies, and obtained his Master of Business Administration Degree in Harvard University in 1964.
