OPEN DAYS
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for enrolment on Undergraduate Programmes in the academic year 2014/2015. Mature Candidates can apply for all programmes with the exception of LM310 and SC330. Applications are also invited from suitably qualified candidates wishing to follow one module or more from the under-mentioned programmes as AuditeurLibre against payment of relevant fees. For BSc (Hons) Medical Science, a Clinical Training Fee of Rs 6,900 per annum is applicable. 2. For BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy, a Professional Placement Fee of Rs 13,900 per annum is applicable. 3. AuditeurLibre: For applicants wishing to follow one module, or more, from the undergraduate programmes as AuditeurLibre, fees of Rs 1,400 per credit and an additional fee of Rs 850 for each labbased module and any other relevant fees, are payable upon enrolment on the module/s. 4. Final year students, where applicable, will have to pay a Dissertation Fee of Rs 1,800. This Fee will be shared by students undertaking group dissertations. C. Tuition Fees

Tuition fees of Rs 1,300 per credit are applicable to all the above Part-time programmes. The same Tuition Fees apply to the Diploma in Sanitary Science (2 yrs F/T) and BSc (Hons) Web and Multimedia Development (1 yr F/T) - [Top-Up Programme].
D. Laboratory Fee
Where applicable, a Laboratory Fee of Rs 850 is payable for each lab-based module.
E. Other Fees
AuditeurLibre: For applicants wishing to follow one module, or more, from the undergraduate programmes as AuditeurLibre, fees of Rs 1,400 per credit and an additional fee of Rs 850 for each lab-based module and any other relevant fees, are payable upon enrolment on the module/s. THE UNIVERSITY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REVIEW GENERAL FEES, TUITION FEES AND OTHER CHARGES FOR ANY GIVEN ACADEMIC YEAR PRIOR TO THE BEGINNING OF SUCH ACADEMIC YEAR.
7. A discount of 5% on Tuition Feeswill be provided to students paying the whole amount of Tuition Fees for the academic year upon registration. 8. Direct Debit facilities (Bank Standing Order) will be available for settlement of Tuition Fees only and upon request. If you avail yourself of this facility, you will be required to settle your fees as follows: 100% of General Fees, Students Welfare Fund and Laboratory Fee (where applicable) + 50% of Tuition Fees to be paid on registration date. Balance of 50% of Tuition Fees to be paid in 3 equal and consecutive monthlyinstalments. Payment is to be made as from the end of the following month after registration. A Standing Order Form will be available at the Finance Directors Office during the registration exercise. The form duly filled in, should be submitted before registration. In case of revocation of the Standing Order before its termination, you will not be admitted to the examinations, as per University regulations.

Application Fee is to be paid through: (I) STATE BANK OF MAURITIUS LTD (a) Over the Counter at any branch: Either by Cash or Intra Bank Transfer. Please bring along the downloaded Cash Deposit Voucher automatically generated by the system upon application. (b) Online Banking at the following address: www.sbmonline.com (II) THE MAURITIUS COMMERCIAL BANK LTD Online Banking at the following address: www.mcb.mu (III) THE MAURITIUS POST LTD Over the Counter at any branch. Please bring along the Application Form. The University is not liable for any wrong or incomplete information submitted. Charges, where applicable, will have to be borne by the Applicant. Send your Printed and Signed Online Application Formtogether with Part B of the Cash Deposit Voucher or any proof of paymentby registered post only to the following address: Admissions and Student Records Office, LimFatEngineeringTower, University of Mauritius, Rduit You are advised to keep the postage receipt of theMauritius Post Ltd as evidence of application. The University will acknowledge receipt of application online when all the above-mentioned documents are received. Applicants will then be able to print their receipt online.

(i) (ii) (iii) (iv) (v) (vi) Applications received after the closing date or not supported by the Application Fee of Rs 1,100 will not be considered. Applications not submitted on the prescribed online form will not be considered. The University will not accept any change in the choice and order of priority of programmes after an application has been submitted. Applicants are informed that the University reserves the right not to run any one of the above mentioned programmes should there be an insufficient number of students registered for it. So as to remove any possible doubt, applicants are informed that the University is under no obligation to find employment eventually for successful applicants. Documents submitted will not be returned to applicants.
(vii) Some programmes may be currently under review and may have implications for the 2014/2015 intake.
