AuditeurLibre: For applicants wishing to follow one module, or more, from the undergraduate programmes as AuditeurLibre, fees of Rs 1,400 per credit and an additional fee of Rs 850 for each labbased module and any other relevant fees, are payable upon enrolment on the module/s. 4. Final year students, where applicable, will have to pay a Dissertation Fee of Rs 1,800. This Fee will be shared by students undertaking group dissertations. Tuition fees of Rs 1,300 per credit are applicable to all the above Part-time programmes. The same Tuition Fees apply to the Diploma in Sanitary Science (2 yrs F/T) and BSc (Hons) Web and Multimedia Development (1 yr F/T) - [Top-Up Programme].

D. Laboratory Fee
Where applicable, a Laboratory Fee of Rs 850 is payable for each lab-based module.

E. Other Fees
AuditeurLibre: For applicants wishing to follow one module, or more, from the undergraduate programmes as AuditeurLibre, fees of Rs 1,400 per credit and an additional fee of Rs 850 for each lab-based module and any other relevant fees, are payable upon enrolment on the module/s. THE UNIVERSITY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REVIEW GENERAL FEES, TUITION FEES AND OTHER CHARGES FOR ANY GIVEN ACADEMIC YEAR PRIOR TO THE BEGINNING OF SUCH ACADEMIC YEAR.

Information on Programmes These are available for consultation: a. on the University website: http://www.uom.ac.mu/prospectivestudents/ b. at the Admissions and Student Records Office, Ground Floor, Lim Fat Engineering Tower, University of Mauritius, Rduit, on weekdays from 9.15 a.m to noon and 1.00 p.m to 3.30 p.m. as from Monday 17thFebruary 2014. 2. School-Leavers who are ranked after the 2013 LAUREATES are eligible for a Scholarship at the University upon registration as students of the University of Mauritius. The Scholarship covers the General Fees, but excludes Registration Fees and Students Welfare Fund (amounting to Rs 2,100).Tuition Fees, where applicable, will have to be paid by scholarship holders. The Scholarship must be taken in the current Academic Year and may not be postponed. 3. Mature candidates may apply for all the above programmes, except for the BSc (Hons) Medical Science and Bachelor of Laws with Honours - LLB (Hons). If they wish to be considered as Mature Candidates, it is compulsory that they tick the box at Section 14 of the Application Form and attach documentary evidence with regard to work experience (only those who have filled in this section and submitted the requested documents will be considered for admission as Mature Candidates). Please refer to Section 1.6 of the General Information to Students handbook 2014/2015 for criteria of eligibility available at http://www.uom.ac.mu/aboutus/regulations/Chap1.pdf . 4. Applications are also invited from suitably qualified candidates wishing to follow one module, or more, from the above-mentioned programmes as AuditeurLibre against payment of relevant fees. The directory of modules is available athttp://online.uom.ac.mu/moduledirectory/moduledatabase.asp. 5. Tuition Fees are exclusive of General Fees. 6. Candidates are strongly advised to consult the following website address http://ministryeducation.gov.muregarding scholarships from Government to children from vulnerable families. The Deadline for submission of application is 31st July 2014 for courses beginning in August 2014. 9

7. A discount of 5% on Tuition Feeswill be provided to students paying the whole amount of Tuition Fees for the academic year upon registration. 8. Direct Debit facilities (Bank Standing Order) will be available for settlement of Tuition Fees only and upon request. If you avail yourself of this facility, you will be required to settle your fees as follows: 100% of General Fees, Students Welfare Fund and Laboratory Fee (where applicable) + 50% of Tuition Fees to be paid on registration date. Balance of 50% of Tuition Fees to be paid in 3 equal and consecutive monthlyinstalments. Payment is to be made as from the end of the following month after registration. A Standing Order Form will be available at the Finance Directors Office during the registration exercise. The form duly filled in, should be submitted before registration. In case of revocation of the Standing Order before its termination, you will not be admitted to the examinations, as per University regulations.

Please bring along the downloaded Cash Deposit Voucher automatically generated by the system upon application. Applications not submitted on the prescribed online form will not be considered. The University will not accept any change in the choice and order of priority of programmes after an application has been submitted. Applicants are informed that the University reserves the right not to run any one of the above mentioned programmes should there be an insufficient number of students registered for it. So as to remove any possible doubt, applicants are informed that the University is under no obligation to find employment eventually for successful applicants. Documents submitted will not be returned to applicants.
