1. Introduction
The role of the engineers is growing in scientific research and development, which amounted to a wide range of contemporary society in various fields of engineering, leading to a quantum leap in factories, corporations and companies, depending on the experience of engineering graduates. In the interest of faculty to pursue the steps of progress and strengthen scientific and research expertise which supported this development witnessed by the world, the faculty is developing its curricula periodically to raise the level of Graduate Studies and Research by/and providing academic programs to pursue areas of development and strengthening of scientific expertise and research that will support the successive development. Study in graduate credit hours system allows enrollment of engineering graduates at Egyptian universities, as well as obtaining degrees in engineering disciplines, which are neutralized by the Supreme Council of Universities

Credit hour means one hour lecture teaching at least or two hours of exercise or 3 practical hours in laboratories and workshops or 3 hours of field practical training each week per semester. Item (4): Dates of the Study The academic year is divided into three semesters as follows: 1. First semester: starting at the third Saturday of September for a period of 15 weeks. 2. Second semester: starting from the second Saturday of February for a period of 15 weeks. 3. Summer semester: starting at the first Saturday of July for a period of 6 weeks where the hours are doubled. Item (5): Dates of enrollment 1. Opening of enrollment and registration must be announced for different semesters by six weeks before the start of any semester, to provide applications to administration office of graduate studies. 2. Enrollment to any semester must be at two weeks before the deadline of the beginning of any semester and upon approval of the scientific department and the adoption of the faculty board and upon payment of the prescribed fees. Item (6): Tuition fees Tuition fees are collected according to the regulating universities law and regulations as amended, as well as the decisions of the Supreme Council of Universities Item (7): Academic Advisor 1. Assembly and equation solution techniques. Use of computer for solution. Types of dynamic loads. Types of structural systems (single-degree-of-freedom and multi-degree-offreedom analytical models), Dynamic equilibrium equations. Response of single degree of freedom system to dynamic excitation: free vibration, harmonic loads, pulses and earthquakes. Response of multidegree-of-freedom systems. Solution of Eigen value problem. Modal superposition method, Deterministic time domain integration method, Computer implementation and application. Loads on buildings. Evaluation of gravity loads, wind and earthquake loads on structures according to national design code. Different structural systems, behavior under gravity and lateral loads. Selection of structural system, layout and conceptual design. Hand and computer analysis methods. Preliminary conceptual design: layout and proportioning of structural members in steel or reinforced concrete. Special Considerations for Tall Buildings, Structural Behavior of Different Systems of Tall Buildings and Range of Application, Analysis of Different Systems, Rigid Frames, Shear Walls, Coupled Shear Walls, Shear Wall and Frame Interaction, Outrigger Systems, Open and Closed Cores, Tube Structures, Effect of Torsion, Special Topics, Applications. Fundamentals of design of structural steel members using the Load and Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) Specification for Structural Steel Buildings. The course emphasizes a limit states view of the design process. An explanation of the common failure modes, or limit states, for which members must be designed and how the LRFD Specification addresses these limit states is the focus of the course. Engineering properties of materials (strength, toughness, hardness, elasticity), introduction to common types of building materials, steel, cement, 81 aggregates, concrete, admixtures, bricks, stones,

Course Contents
The aim of the course is to present how modern computer systems work and are built. The students should learn the advanced concepts and principle of computer architecture and organization, as well as methods developed in order to improve the performance of current microprocessors and parallel systems. The contents include Instruction set, memory management and hierarchy, input/output and buses, pipelining techniques, branch prediction, RISC architectures, VLIW architectures and specific compiling techniques, superscalar architectures, out of order execution, parallel architectures and multiprocessors. This Course introduces the principles of user interface development, focusing on three key areas: Design: human capabilities (including the human information processor model, perception, motor skills, color, attention, and errors) and using those capabilities to drive design techniques: task analysis, user-centered design, iterative design, usability guidelines, interaction styles, and graphic design principles. The course includes Implementation: Techniques for building user interfaces, and Evaluation: Techniques The course topics include formal models, algorithms, various simulation techniques, tools and case studies in the specific context of embedded systems, The focus will be on system-level design techniques, with the aim of critically accessing known models and methods in terms of their generality and applicability at different stages of an embedded system design process. It includes also execution time analysis, Resource sharing and communication, and time, simulation versus analytical models. Theory and implementation of high-performance computer graphics. Applications from virtual reality, training, and entertainment. Graphics hardware. Highfidelity graphics. Introduction to computational geometry.
