The Brain Museum

To help you understand a bit more about how the brain works. The goal of this assessment is to examine one part of the brain in detail - and produce a presentation that teaches us about that part of the brain. The parts of the brain that we will explore are:

Biological Level of Analysis The Brain Museum To help you understand a bit more about how

You will work in pairs to create a PowerPoint (or Keynote) presentation on the part of the brain. The following information must be included in your presentation:

A simple description of the location within the brain (with diagram) A general overview of the functions of the part of the brain One study involved with this part of the brain (related to BLOA) What happens when this part of the brain is dysfunctional?

The PowerPoint needs to be engaging - making use of images which illustrate the

main points There should be no more than 10 words per slide and therefore you need to ensure

you are only including the key points. When you have completed the PowerPoint, you should email to ---------------You will also be presenting your PowerPoint to the group and you will receive a grade for your presentation and delivery
