The Hygrotec DY75 probe is suitable for the measurement
of both dewpoint temperature and temperature in gasses and
non-conductive liquids and enables a stable measurement also
under conditions where temperature may vary.
The probe consist together with the Hygrotec MMY170 analyser
and its standard 3 core cable out of the trace moisture analyser
system for applications in (petro)chemical industry and/or appli-
cations in hazardous areas.
The DY75 probe contains the proven and robust capacitive sen-
sor. ts capacitance changes when the moisture content varies.
The probe electronics generates a pulse frequency modulated
(PFM) signal for both moisture and temperature, allowing trans-
mission of the signals up to 1000 meters between probe and
analyser.
The sensor is suitable for high pressurized applications up to
350 bars and the optional certifications allows installing the
sensor in hazardous areas without the need of safety barriers.

The Hygrotec MMY 170 is the state-of-the-art, market-proven
analyser for moisture concentrations in different units. The stan-
dard configuration of the MMY170 measures in the range of
-100 to +20 C dewpoint. n addition to dewpoint the Hygrotec
measures moisture in ppm-v and optionally for liquids, in ppm-w
over a range of 0,01 to 9999. The temperature is measured for
display in C and for compensation.
The complete measuring system consist out of the probe DY75
(see separate brochure) and a standard 3 core cable. The
Hygrotec MMY170 is constructed as a 7(TE) pitch compact
module, fitting international standards of 19 rack systems, such
as the wall mounting module Monorack.
For process control two current, two voltage outputs and two
alarm relays are available. The Hygrotec MMY170's self diagno-
stics program detects undesired events or uncertainties. n such
an event, the system alarm will activate.
For applications in hazardous areas, the probe circuit of the
MMY170 is certified (EEx ia) C.
