Previous Knowledge: Pupils had learned about singular and plural forms as well as subject verb agreement. Anticipated problem: Some pupils are reluctant to learn. Solution: Give a task sheet that suits the pupils level. *I was teaching simple present tense. I made two columns, one was Singular (refer to the subject) and the other one was plural. I conducted jumbled sentences. I made a template 2

for each words in the sentences, learners rearrange the words, glue the papers so that the papers wont peeled off. Then, pupils paste the sentences in the correct column. Get it? She takes the wheat back to her home. The little red hen meets her friends, duck, bird, cat and dog. She asks her friends. Little red hen : Duck Bird Cat Dog : : : : Who will help me plant this wheat? Not I. Not I. Not I. Not I. Then my six little chicks and I will plant the wheat. After some time, the plant grows healthily. It has long stalks of wheat. The wheat is ripe and ready to be harvested. The little red hen and her little chicks are very delight. She meets her friends again. Little red hen : Duck Bird Cat Dog : : : : Who will help me harvest the wheat grain? Not I. Not I. Not I. Not I. Then my six little chicks and I will harvest the wheat grain. So, the little red hen and her six little chicks harvest the wheat grain. After that, they take the grain to the miller. She grinds the wheat to flour. Little red hen and her chicks bring the flour to their home. At home, the little red hen meets her friends. Little red hen : Who will help me bake a bread? 4

Duck, bird, cat and dog are ashamed of themselves. They are very sorry for not helping the little red hen.
