Essential Qualifications and Experience: Research Associate (1 position): The ideal applicant should have awarded PhD degree in a Biochemistry/Molecular biology or relevant field. Scientific writing and oral presentation skill with a strong publication record in internationally reputed journals is also essential. He/she is expected to have a strong base on basic molecular biology/cell biology experiments along with hands on experience in human cell culture. Project Assistant (1 Position): *M.Sc. in Life Sciences, Biotechnology or related field with good academic record (minimum of 65% marks in M.Sc). Some laboratory experience postM.Sc in molecular biology /cancer biology would be plus. Previous experience in molecular biology and animal tissue culture and ability to work in a team is desired. *M.Sc. degree obtained after a one year course will not be considered. Selected candidate will have to join at the earliest. Salary: For Research Associate Rs. 22000+30%HRA / month for 1 year ** For Project Assistant - Rs. 12000 consolidated / month for 1 year ** **The work progress of the candidate will be monitored and extension after 6 months will depend on satisfactory progress of the work. Only registered* candidates should report between 09.30 to 10.00 a.m. on 21st April, 2014 (in Steno Pool), 3rd floor, Khanolkar Shodhika, ACTREC, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. Candidates reporting after 10.00 a.m. will not be allowed for the interview. No T.A./D.A. will be admissible for attending the interview.
