• Commissioned and curated over 20 permanent and temporary
sculptures.
• Initiated Bord na Mona corporate funding for development of the
Sculpture Park.
• Developed partnerships with Bord na Mona, Offaly County
Council, University College Dublin, The Arts Council and Crafts
Council of Ireland to fund residency and education programmes.
• Access to All: initiated the development of wheelchair access to
Sculpture Park.

• Developed an international artist- in- residence programme in the
Parklands. Funded by The Arts Council, Bord na Mona and Offaly
County Council.
• Sculpture in the Parklands selected as a world environmental art
destination by Thames and Hudson publication Destination Art.
• Development of arts programme for International Peat Congress
hosted by Bord na Mona at Lough Boora Parklands in 2008. 45
countries were represented at the conference.
• Strategic plan for the development of an education programme for
primary and secondary schools.
• Strategic marketing plan for the development of the sculpture

Lecturing Positions
Taught 2 & 3 dimensional studio design course to ceramics, glass and metal
students. Part time position.
Key Achievements:
• Initiated and developed a Business Skills course to equip students
with professional business, marketing and promotional expertise
necessary for setting up a craft design business.
• Introduced computer and photography modules into course work.
• Worked with 4th year students in the promotion and presentation of
their final year exhibition.
• Over 60 past students now operate their own business.
Metalsmithing lecturer
Developed a metalsmithing and jewellery programme for 2nd and 3rd year
students at Armstrong College. The course introduced art education students
to 3- dimensional design and metal fabrication.
