EXPERIENCE Student Council LAUSD/USC CAE High School - Los Angeles, CA September 2013-Present Bring the students together when a senior meeting is being held Get suggestions from the senior class for potential activities Remind the seniors of important deadlines Helped the Senior Class President organize a school wide blood drive for the Childrens Hospital. Yearbook September 2013-Present Part of the layout team that chose the color theme and font for the yearbook pages. In charge of creating the page dedicated to the Back to School Dance, Hidden Talents, and the seniors that have attended the school since kindergarten. Responsible for scanning the pictures that are needed for the yearbook pages. Responsible for looking over and creating captions for pictures in the yearbook. Helped the Yearbook class sell food at the movie night event that was organized to fundraise money to pay for pages in the book. Kicks 4 Kids October 2013-Present An active member to this non-profit organization where I devoted my time to play soccer with children who are not capable of being physically active due to their health issues. California Science Center- Los Angeles, CA February 2013-September 2014 Was a host for two months and taught families about marine life. Worked for seven months in the Discovery Room Exhibit that focuses on a younger demographic that is more approachable in teaching children the basic principles of science in todays world. Organized the activity shelves every Sunday so that it would be organized for the entire week. Programed the I-pads to have educational games for the guest. Adventures Ahead- Los Angeles, CA Spring 2011 Was a tutor for three months for children from the ages of six to eleven. Made phone calls and sent e-mails to the parents to remind them about upcoming events. Maintained the childrens study area clean and organized. Showed up once every two weeks on a Sunday to help clean the rooms.
