SENIOR STANDOUTS:
Wonder what our seniors are up to? We would like to congratulate a number of our senior accounting majors who have already landed jobs with various firms in the area upon graduation. Take the time to see what advice these seniors have for current students!

Skylar Beal
Anticipated Graduation Date: May, 2014 Future Plans: Will begin working for Novogradac & Company LLC upon graduation and plan to pursue Masters and CPA license Advice for current students: Utilize all networking opportunities available to you through the school. Also, never give up!! It may get hard at times, but all the work is worth it in the end!

Grace Bowers
Anticipated Graduation Date: May, 2014 Future plans: Continue working as a Financial Analyst in Strategic Planning at Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores Advice for current students: Get to know your professors. They are full of knowledge, advice, experience, kind words, and they really look out for their students. Get involved as soon as possible! Whether that be in IMA or other organizations in the College of Business. Not only will you grow, but you will meet so many new people and build relationships, step out of your comfort zone, and learn so much more than just the curriculum.

Nick Kemmerle
Anticipated Graduation Date: December, 2014 Future Plans: Sit for and obtain CPA, will start with Pricewaterhouse Coopers in July, 2015 Advice for current students: Don't wait. Don't wait to ask questions, don't wait to work on your resume, don't wait to network, and don't wait to find an internship. The better you prepare now, the better you can set yourself up for success in the future.

Jessica Workinger
Anticipated Graduation Date: May, 2014 Future Plans: Will begin a full-time position with the J.M. Smucker Company in their analyst rotation program, finish CMA certification, and pursue MBA Advice for current students: It is never too early to intern. Seek out opportunities to intern as a freshman or sophomore and build as many professional relationships as possible. Try to make time in your schedule to do a formal internship in the spring. In my opinion, this is the best way to decide what you want to do after graduation and provides one of the best learning opportunities.

Frank Whitaker
Anticipated Graduation Date: May, 2014 Future plans: Will begin as Accounting Assistant at Cole Tool & Die Co. Advice for current students: Get as much experience as you can while in school. From what I have learned, experience in school builds your credibility.

Teri Yoder
Anticipated Graduation Date: December, 2014 Future Plans: Begin an internship with Whitcomb & Hess in June, 2014 Advice for current students: Work hard because it will really pay off in the end, but remember to have fun at the same time!
