**Cookie Dough Pick Up: Today, April 17, the cookie dough will arrive. Students who participated in the Cookie Dough Fundraiser will
need to make arrangements to pick up the cookie dough on Thursday from Ms. Patty Creamer in the library.

**After School Tutoring Update: 3rd grade tutoring ended on Tues, April 15. Today, April 17, is the last day for 4th grade
& M/S tutoring. 5th grade tutoring will continue through May 1. H/S & math tutoring will continue until further notice.

**8th Grade Class Trip: There will be a parent meeting regarding the trip on April 22 at 5:00pm. The final payment will be
due on April 30 - turn in to Ms. Stanton, room 1010.

**TSIC Scholarship Applications: The Take Stock In Children Mentoring & Scholarship Program applications are due on May 12th at
noon, in a sealed envelope placed in the front office mailbox of Dr. Lois Catlin. Please visit both the state website www.takestockinchildren.org (for qualifications to apply) and our local program www.TSICseahawks.org for our Franklin County activities. Applications are available from Mr. Robinson at FCS and Ms. Bacharach at the ABC school. Please note: We will not be able to accept applications after the May 12 at noon deadline. **Cheerleading Try-out Packets: Packets are available from Ms. Leigh Smith (room 413) or Ms. Lynn Clark (room 421).
Students must be in 5th through 11th grade, have a 2.2 GPA on current report card, & have no more than 3 discipline referrals for the school year. Packets must be completed & turned in by April 28. Try-out conditioning will be April 29-May 1 in the H/S gym, 2:30-5:00pm. Try-outs will be on May 2 in the H/S gym@ 4:00pm.

YEARBOOKS - $65 -

There will be 240 total pages in the 2013-14 yearbook. The first 208 pages will be delivered around May 9. The final 32 pages will be delivered in July/August as an insert (will include graduation events, plays, class trips, & Freshman Fling). Program begins at 11:00am. Cajun Cookout at Noon - $7.00 Donation. Kids Eat Free. Sponsored by the Southern Builders Association. Proceeds to Benefit Veterans Memorial Plaza.

VPK Registration: April 17, and 24 at the Learning Center, 85 School Road, Eastpoint.
Items needed: Childs Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, Recent Physical, Shot record, proof of residency, parent identification. All documents must be submitted to be registered for the 2014-2015 VPK program. You will need to obtain a VPK certificate of eligibility from the Coalition. This can be obtained the third Thursday of every month. Mr. Noc Hardee completes the eligibility forms for all students. You must have a completed form to qualify for VPK/8:00 -11:00. School Readiness is a program from 11:00-2:00. You must qualify for this program, working 20 hours a week, and or going to school. The fee for the afternoon session from 11:00 2:00 is $9.00 a day or $45.00 a week. Rules and regulations must be followed for this program. ** For more information please call 670-2810, ext. 4117.

The GED Test will not administered by the Franklin County School District until further notice. For alternative testing locations, contact Maxine Creamer at the Literacy Center at 670-4481. Franklin County School District is no longer required by the FL. Dept. of Education to keep GED records. Individuals interested in obtaining their GED diploma/transcripts must contact FLDOE at 850-245-0449 or at their website: ged.fldoe.org
