Batting Order for Highlands #1 Camden McGill 3B #9 Khari Anderson SS #24 Chap Lindstrom 1B #37 Andy Mochabee C #26 Gavin Peters RF #8 Blake Oxenreider 2B #40 Brad Sansing DH #7 Ty Fowler CF #6 Chris Baker LF #44 Tyler Elwer is your starting pitcher. Elwers 3.83 ERA is the lowest of any GHC starter. Hollywood will need to be on his A++ game to get the win today as Perimeter has suffered only a single loss in conference play. I dont have a lineup for Perimeter but one can only assume that they are a dangerous offensive team. Once again Freddie Beamon is unavailable due to a concussion. He is being replaced in center by Ty Fowler. Perimeter might be the best team in the conference but their uniforms are easily the most boring. Maroon top grey pants. Notable Perimeter alum include Phillies outfielder Marlon Byrd (I only know this because the Braves Radio guys said it during todays game) Top 1st Chargers take the field in the home whites. First batter of the game bunts to McGill who couldnt get it our of his glove, 1 on none out. Perimeter will use their speed. Runner steals first uncontested. RISP no out. Back to the top of the order. Liner to left caught by Baker for the 3rd out. 6-0 GP Bottom 3rd Top of the order up for the Chargers McGill lines thru the left side of the infield for a single. Khari up with no outs HBP runners on 1st and 2nd. Chap up with ducks on the

pond; 6-4-3 DP 2 outs McGill at 3rd for Mochabee. Big spot for Moc37. Moc walks first and third with 2 out for Gavin Peters. Peters grounds out to short for the 3rd out. 6-0 GP Top 4th Elwer still working in the 4th. Shot into left for a leadoff single. Ball bounces to Mochabee runner takes second. Late throw to 3rd runner steals and scores on a sac fly to center. 7-0 1 out. Baker snags a Liner for out number 2. Strike 3 for the 3rd out; GPs manager is arguing the call. This is the first time Ive seen a coach mad when his team is up 7 runs. Bottom 4th Ox is leading off; grounds to second for the first out. Sansing up with one down, flys to center 2 out. Fowler up now with 2 down and the bases clear. Ty is battling, fouling off pitches and not swinging at balls. Fowler coaxes a walk out of the pitcher 1 on 2 out for Chris Baker. Baker down on strikes. Top 5th McGill makes a great stop in the hole throws to first for the out. Second batter Hits a solo bomb to Right-Center score now 8-0. Elwer is throwing strikes. Double off the wall in left still just 1 out. Perimeter is hitting everything hard, no seeing-eye singles for the Jaguars tonight. Even if the score doesnt reflect it Elwer is pitching a good game, these GPC hitters are just tough. Fly out to Peters in right for the 2nd out. Runner still on 2nd. Fly to Left-Center Fowler gets underneath it for out #3. SCORE: 8-0 Bottom 5th Top of the lineup leading off the 5th (McGill, Anderson, Lindstrom). The Chargers are doing a good job of going deep into counts. McGill draws a leadoff walk. 1 on none out for Khari. Anderson strikes out swinging on the curveball. 1 out for Lindstrom long single off the wall in left. Runners on 2nd and 3rd for Moc. MOC DOUBLE OFF THE WALL IN LEFT SCORES MCGILL FROM 3RD. 8-1. Peters up with Chap and Moc at 2nd and 3rd. This is a big moment for Peters, the Chargers need a base hit here to make this a game again. Fly to left for out number 2, not deep enough to score Chap from 3rd. Ox grounds to short for the third out. 8-1 after 5.

Top 6 Greg Gerrard on to pitch in relief of Elwer who went 5 full innings with 8 runs all earned. Moc catches a pop up in foul territory for the first out. Gerrard has thrown 2 straight curveballs in the dirt to start the second batter of the inning. Ball 4 runner on first 1 out. Chris Baker gloves a fly ball to left 2 out, runner held at first. Another fly ball to Baker in left ends the inning. 8-1 Bottom 6 Sansing will lead off for the Chargers. New pitcher in for GP big Righty. Sansing has watched 2 balls and 2 strikes. Sansing swings thru strike 3 for out #1. Fowler up now for GHC. The new pitcher is having a bit of a control issue. 3-1 to Fowler. 3-2. Fowler skies out to right for the second out. Chris Baker up now, watches strike one and ball one. Swing and a miss strike 3 and the 3rd out. Score still 8-1 Jaguars leading. Top 7th Gerrard going out for his second inning, he pitched well in the 6th only allowing one base runner on a walk. Greg is in to eat up innings at this point. Moc makes the grab on the pop up near the GP dugout for the first out. Thats the second time today that Moc has fielded his position well. On the 3-0 the batter tossed his bat toward the dugout on a called strike. 5 pitch walk to the second batter of the inning. 1 on 1 out in the 7th. Perimeter has been running on any pitch in the dirt today and they havent been stopped once. 2 run Home Run to straight away right. 10-1 Georgia Perimeter. Thats the second big fly for the Jags today. Before that Gerrard had thrown a good game in the time he was on the mound. Gerrard fields his position well gloves a tapper back at him throws to first for the 2nd out of the inning. 2 out nobody on. Swing and a miss strike 3; Gerrard works back after the HR to get out of the inning. 10-1 Chargers trail. Bottom 7th Maxwell Watkins is in to PH. Watkins struck out swinging. 1 out in the inning Matt Reynolds is also PHing. Coach Marra is giving his guys a chance to get ABs, smart move late in a 9 run game. Reynolds is having a good AB fought off a few 0-2 pitches before Drawing a 3-2 walk. Now Ed Lott is on to PH. Ed was ahead in the count 2-0 before watching 2 strikes and a ball count is full. Swinging strike out for the

second out of the inning. The Pinch Hitters keep coming, now its Trey Silmon. Trey watches 2 fastball strikes. Strike 3 swinging for out #3. THATS THE BALLGAME. CHARGERS LOSE 10-1. After watching Perimeter I now know why they are the best in the conference by far. They play aggressive and are easily one of the most talented teams the Chargers have seen this season. GHC will play a 3 game series against Perimeter in Covington. If the Chargers could just take 1 game this series I would view it as a success. The next Charger home game will be next Friday at East Cobb. We will have radio so you wont have to read a 1700 word essay on the game.
