April 21, 2014 The Nasdaq & Russell 2000 still have negative weekly charts.

The major averages ended last week straddling their five-week modified moving averages at 16250 Dow Industrials, 1847.5 S&P 500, 4149 Nasdaq, 7473 Dow Transports and 1151.19 Russell 2000. The weekly charts remain negative for the Nasdaq and Russell 2000, while the other three have neutral weekly charts. The year-to-date leaders are outside the five major averages.
