Visa exemption countries: Citizens of Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia and Laos holding valid ordinary passports are exempt from visa requirements and are allowed to stay for not more than 30 days. Citizens of Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Japan, Russian Federation and South Korea holding different kinds of passports are exempt from visa requirements and are allowed to stay for not more than 15 days. How to get visa to Vietnam? There are two major types of visa to Vietnam: tourist visa and business visa. Business visa Available for 3 months, 6 months or more than 1 year single or multiple entry and the right to work. After 3 months, you can extend once for next 3 months. If you work more than 1 year, after 6 months, your company must get you a temporary residence card.
