It an operating unit which is engaged in the business of creating, financing and distributing intellectual property to create advantages for its clients and generate new sources of revenue for its agencies. The company turned to Simple Logic to migrate Oracle 10g Forms to Forms 11g and to help them further enhances and rationalize the system. The system leverages clients existing investment in Oracle Forms technology and provides a supported platform and improves end-user satisfaction through a web-based system. CHALLENGES: Migration of existing Forms/Reports 10g deployed on Oracle S10g/Windows server 2003 to Forms/Reports 11gR2 to be deployed on Oracle 11g Weblogic Server R1/Windows server 2008 without affecting performance of system. Migration of existing application in very short and effective manner, with improved performance taking advantage of new application server and database server. Scope of the review included a complete review of the infrastructure, identifying application performance hotspots, understanding and recommending operational process changes to the new platform. SOLUTION : Simple Logic Technical team followed below implementation steps: Installation of oracle weblogic server and Oracle Forms /Reports 11g R2 on target server Configuration of Weblogic server and Oracle Forms /Reports 11gR2 on target Server. Migration of forms and reports from 10g to 11g. Compiled migrated forms, reports and libraries on target server. Troubleshoot compilation errors after migration of forms to 11g.
