TIMETABLE FIT
Tasks in this lesson will focus on listening comprehension, speaking and one vocabulary task, dealing with Multi-part Verbs. While listening to CD, students will be filling up the function file in the book and learning new colloquial expressions. Shortly after finishing the function file, students will learn the difference between I love and Id love to, I prefer and Id prefer to Students will practice speaking individually and in pairs, on topic about their likes and dislikes of their country. Finally, students will be introduced to new Multi-part Verbs, they will learn their meanings and will practice them in the context.

EXERCISE 6 (5 min) THE AIM: To practice using I love and Id love to , and colloquial expressions in the context . You are going to work individually, writing answers to these questions in exercise 6. I will give you two minutes to write the answers, and then in pairs, you will be taking turns and asking and answering questions Teacher goes around and monitors the activity, checking that students have understood whether the question refers to what they do now or what they would like to do but dont do now. EXERCISE 7 (5 min) THE AIM: To practice describing preferences in your country, that is, expressing students likes and dislikes about living in their country, town, region. You are going to work individually. You are going to make a list of good and bad things about living in your country, town, region. Once you are finished, we will hear some of your ideas. Teacher goes around and helps students with vocabulary where necessary. Once students are finished, they report back to the class and see if they share same opinions about their country and where they would like to live. EXERCISE 8 (8 min) THE AIM: To introduce students to new Multi-part Verbs, and later to practice Multi-part Verbs in the context. I would like you to read this text quickly before you start completing it. You are going to work individually and you can compare your answers in pairs before we check together. Teacher waits until students are finished and then checks students answers by asking individuals to read out the sentences. HOMEWORK:. Write a short essay, up to eight to ten sentences about foreign country you would like to visit, explaining why would you like to visit that country, what would you be doing there, Pay attention to use some of the words and phrases we learnt today. CLOSURE (5 min) AIM: To sum up the lesson and to provide a meaningful closure, so that students get an overall impression of the lesson.
Teacher provides a recap of the lesson, starting from what was done in the lesson and what students need to pay attention in the future. The teacher ends the lesson on a positive note praising students for their contribution and work they have done.
