4-6.1 Explain The Significant Economic and Geographic differences between the North and South
Description and Background Student will demonstrate an understanding of the civil war and its Impact on America. Information Students will be able to state what they learned about the north and the south from previous lessons. Also students will be able to write and discuss the differences and similarities between the North and South leading up to the civil war. Lesson Objectives Student will demonstrate an understanding of the civil war and its Impact on America. Students will be able to write and discuss the differences and similarities between the North and South leading up to the civil war. I will provide small group learning for students who do not understand the material and have them peer up with another classmate who does and apply peer tutoring. Students who have already mastered the content will become content leaders and help the students who are struggling understand the content. Students will need to be able to distinguish the differences between the North and the South leading up to the civil war in order to be able to demonstrate an understanding of the civil war and its Impact on America.
