From compass to computer: A history of electrical and electronics engineering. San Francisco: San Francisco Press. This book starts at the very beginning of early electronics and goes up until the 1980's laying out many of the important stepping stones that has lead to the electronic outbreak of the 21st century. This is a credible source because it is a book that can be found in the school library. I will use this source to help me begin the bridge as I try to work from beginning to end showing the huge impact the electrical engineers have had on the world ever since the very beginning. This site will be used to give information about how much a current electrical engineer is payed and where might the best place be to get a job in that field of work. Electrical Engineering. (n.d.). Retrieved February 25, 2014, from https://www.ee.columbia.edu/ee-history This website has a small amount of information about the history starting at the beginning and coming all up into about the 1980's. This is a credible source because it is made by the University of Columbia's engineering program. I will use this source to help fill in some gray areas along with From Compass to Computer, I will also use this source to help me be able to make all of my information short and concise. This is a credible source because it is basic information that can be cross referenced by other information sources, and also is made by the National Academy of Engineers. Engineering: Issues, Challenges and Opportunities for Developement (pp. 127-128). (2010). Paris, France: United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. Retrieved February 25, 2014, from http://books.google.com/booksid=09i67GgGPCYC&pg=PA128#v=onepage&q&f=false . This is a book about all forms of Engineering but on the pages 127-128, it gives a brief description of how it electrical engineering started and what it is. This is a credible source because it is published by UNESCO and is a UNESCO report. This is a credible source because it is a library book published by the New York Institute of Electrical Engineers. I will use this source to help in explaining more in to detail the more recent past in the field of electrical engineering. History of IEEE. (n.d.). IEEE -. This source is credible because the organization wrote it. I will use the source while I talk about the current job situations and the resources you can have while you work. This is a credible source because it is a conference help by the IEEE and all the papers are written by well renowned engineers. This is a peer-reviewed journal which is why it is a credible source. I will use this to help in explaining exactly what electrical engineering is.
