E Support to the production environment of SECROADS has been extended upto March 2014. SECR intends to extend the support for a further period of 1 year through remote support. PRS/UTS data Tender opened on 06.09.2013 and centres and Railways Technical evaluation completed Internet Data centre and under consideration of TC. (RIDC) at CRIS and implementation of IPSec over Unified Ticketing Network (UTN) SMMS: Signalling Detail estimate has been sent to maintenance management systems NR. Sanction of D/E is awaited. (Pilot Phase to be implemented on BHD-SNP section of Delhi Division and UMP (Ex)-RPJ (Ex) section of UMB division.) Real-time Train Railway Board has decided to hold Information System till allotment of S-MSS bandwidth (RTIS) by ISRO. Upgradation of Bids received on 12 Feb. 2014 for Network consolidated tender for Management System upgradation of NMS for UTN & (NMS) for Unified FOIS Network. PROJECT STATUS FREIGHT OPERATIONS INFORMATION SYSTEM (FOIS) FOIS Phase-II (TMS Expansion) Enabling non-device locations under the nodal concept, more than 99.9% of RRs are booked through TMS. IREPG E-Payment facility for 13 new customers was commissioned during February 2014. Facility has now been extended to a total of 750 customers. In addition, facility of 27 existing customers was also extended due to expiry of LC/BG. A total of `5935 crores (`211.96 crores per day) of freight payment was done through E-payment during February, 2014 which is around 75.36 % of the total freight.

PASSENGER RESERVATION SYSTEM PRS is working at 3064 locations with 9376 PRS terminals. On an average, 4.79 crore passengers are being booked in PRS with average Passenger Earnings of `2463.52 crores during February 2014. In the corresponding period of February 2013, total 5.0 crore passengers had been booked from 9063 PRS terminals at 2616 Locations resulting in total earnings of `2448.60 crore. WAP & SMS Gateway for PRS and NTES Website Post and Pre chart SMS alert or all PRS Trains are now sent trough SMS gateway since its inauguration on 03rd March 2014.Approximatel 1,50,000 SMSs are sent daily through this SMS gateway. Next Generation E-ticketing (NGeT) 38 Banks out of 44 have been integrated and offered for testing to IRCTC. 6 Banks have been moved to Bank production environment. The changes in application for migration strategy from IRCTC are still awaited so that integrated testing can be done. Changes suggested by IRCTC in the Dashboard and call centre application are in progress,

Infrastructure The hardware, system software, network and security devices have been installed and configured. The work of advance configuration of system software layers (Oracle database, Golden gate, Enterprise management control, Web logic server), network (ADC and SLBs) and security equipment devices (Firewall, IPS etc.) is in progress. The Itanium/OVMS server which were to be delivered on 7th March have been delievered on 19th March and work on installation has started on 20th March.

Internet Bandwith (IBW) which was to be commissioned by 15th March 2014 from three ISPs (Internet Service Provider) with equal distribution for requisite redundancy, has been made available only from RCIL.

DR System for PRS Data is being replicated from all the primary systems to Secunderabad DR system. DR Drills on production data with live transactions from current counters have been carried out from Delhi on 09.03.2014 and Mumbai on 23.03.2014. 1052 ATVMs have been installed in Central, Eastern, Northern, Southern, South Central, South Eastern, East Central Railway and Western Railways till 28.02.2014.Out of which, 125 ATVMs have been condemn by W. Railway. UTS ticketing over Mobile phone In phase I, UTS ticketing over Mobile phone will be enabled through Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD). The passenger will book and pay for the ticket through Mobile phone. He will print the ticket through ATVM Kiosk or any other printing kiosk provided for this purpose. The 1st phase will be completed in the year 2014.

COMPUTERIZED CONTROL CHARTING COA Application is running in all the 77 divisions/area Control Offices of the Indian Railways. Integration between COA and FOIS, adjoining COA, NTES and ICMS is completed in all 68 divisional control offices. New Time table schedules were created in ICMS application, and the data was successfully transferred to the COA application to ensure updated time table availability with the section controllers.

Last Lobby KAP has been commissioned after redistribution of lobby hardware. 6(a) INTEGRATED COACHING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (ICMS) The ICMS application is hosted on central server located in CRIS, Chanakyapuri accessed over FOISNET. It is a browser based application and can be run from any client on FOISNET. Approx. 1000 clients are running on FOISNET on thin clients/PCs. This has three applications as Punctuality Analysis and Monitoring (PAM), Coaching Operations Information System (COIS), Coach Maintenance Management (CMM) First two modules of application are already deployed over IR, third module Coaching Maintenance Management (CMM) pilot was made Go-live at three pilot depots namely, BCT/WR, NDLS/NR and LKO/NR. The CMM application is built on the core of an EAM software MAXIMO. Apart from this the Central Application has been made available to all Zonal Railway HQs on 25.11.2013. It has modules on Passenger complaints, Contracts monitoring, Machinery & Plant, Coach Condemnation, Pit charts, Special drives, Project tracking, Trial monitoring, Budget trains and Documentation. ICMS infrastructure was set up in 2005-06 and asset has become overdue replacement as servers are running 9th year. Detailed estimate is in Railway Board and is expected to be sanctioned soon. The work for Asset Replacement/Augmentation will be taken up in 2014-15. CMM roll-out phase-I is a sanctioned work costing Rs. 52.07 crores. Detailed estimate of CMM roll-out phase-I for 65 coaching depots is pending with FA&CAO (Systems)/Northern Railway. Detailed estimate amounting to Rs. 68 crores was submitted to FOIS a few years ago. It is understood that it has already been reduced by CAO/FOIS to about Rs. 43 crores. Clarifications as required by FOIS and/or NR finance have been furnished by CRIS on 21.3.2013, 12.6.2013, 16.7.2013, 26.11.2013 and 19.12.2013 during last one year. Detailed presentation to three CPMs/FOIS, FA&CAO (Systems), FA&CAO (FOIS) and FA&CAO (IT) Northern Railway was given on 13.11.2013. CRIS has offered that meeting may be held whenever required by Finance (NR) for any clarifications. Project was reviewed by Addl. Member (PU) in December 2013 and go ahead given for further action. 6(b) National Train Enquiry System The National Train Enquiry System (NTES) is meant for providing updated arrival/departure information of passenger trains to the public through internet website (www.trainenquiry.com/enquiry.indianrail.gov.in and 139. Recently, new web interface alongwith mobile interface has been launched. NTES is the core application feeding information to all interfaces. Hardware of NTES is reaching near to its codal life, running 7th year. Detailed Estimate for Assets replacement and essential upgradation of National Train Enquiry System(NTES) including WebNTES at the cost of Rs 4.92 Crore is in Railway Board for sanction.

IR WEB PORTAL i. Complaint Management System (CMS) proliferation across Railway The Web Complaint Management System (Web CMS) can be accessed through the IR Portal home page, www.indianrailways.gov.in , complaint and suggestion section by clicking on the SUBMIT button. It can also be directly accessed through the URL, http:// www.customercare.indianrailways.gov.in. Divisional Work Flow has been made online so that divisional level escalation can be configured. The SMS based Complaint Management System is also operational.

Cloak Room Application: This application is operational at New Delhi Station (Ajmeri Gate and Pahargunj). During February 2014 and March 2014(Till date), no booking has been done hence no earning. Retiring Room: Retiring Room Application is now running at 61 stations. At 61 stations, booking for Retiring Rooms can be made on the Internet. Earnings from booking of Retiring Rooms during the month of February 2014: Booked on Terminals (60 Locations): Rooms Booked : 25502 Total Earnings : ` 64,95,940/Total Refund : ` 66,188/Net Earnings : ` 64,29,752/Booked on Internet (54 Locations): Rooms Booked : 4355 Total Earning : ` 19,34,577/Total Refund : ` 1,31,384/Net Earnings : ` 18,03,193/One new location(Bharatpur) has been made live through RR terminal booking system and seven(7) new location has been made online for booking through internet in the month of March 2014 till date. MATERIAL MANAGEMENT E- PROCUREMENT SYSTEM (EPS) Implementation of E-Procurement System on all 16 Zonal Railways, 7 Production Units (viz. RCF, ICF, DLW, CLW, DMW, RWF and RCF/RBL) and RDSO, RAILTEL, Core/ALD and Metro Railway, Kolkata completed. More than 5 Lakh tenders have been uploaded by different Railways. 19,696 vendors have been registered on the system. E-Auction module software has been implemented in CR, ER, ECR, ECoR, NR, NCR, NER, NFR, NWR, SR, SCR, SER, SECR, SWR, WR, WCR Including 4 PUs RCF, ICF, DLW, RWF. Over 3000 crore worth of material auctioned through E-Auction system. Extension of E-Procurement System to Depots, Divisions and other units The detailed estimate has been sanctioned by Railway Board on 31.12.3013. MOU between NR and CRIS is under finalization with Northern Railway. MATERIAL MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM The detailed estimate as per revised implementation plan has been sent to NR for submission to Railway Board for sanction.

ASSET MANAGEMENT LOCO SHED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (LMS) Final notice has been sent to Northern Railway for stoppage of all LMS work due to delay in sanction of revised estimate since 2011 leading to shortage of funds at CRIS. FREIGHT MANAGEMENT MODULE (FMM) CRIS team has continued the post production support activities at TKD Wagon depot regarding revised Depot solution along with assembly process. Material related reports are being finalized and developed with L&T and CRIS core teams. Installation of wireless solution for On-spot printing of BPC at DER yard is completed and is being used by depot. Revised estimate for FMM pilot is pending for sanction at Railway Board since August 2013. For want of funds, progress of FMM is badly suffering. SOFTWARE FOR LOCOMOTIVE ASSET MANAGEMENT (SLAM) The trial of Software for Locomotive Asset Management (SLAM) application for maintenance of Electric locomotives has been made online on trial basis on 27.12.2013 at TKD shed. Data validation is under process. WORKSHOP MANAGEM,ENT SYSTEM(WISE PHASE II ) LOWER PAREL Data deficiencies related to assemblies are currently being addressed. 10 of 17

CHARBAGH The workshop can do real time turn out of Diesel Locos through WISE. LILLUAH Hardware has been commissioned on the shop floor, and is ready for data entry. LAN has been tested and energized. Parallel run and end-user training is in progress. RAIPURApplication usage has increased. LALAGUDA Network connectivity to 4 shops has been lost due to permanent relocation of Millwright shop. Issues highlighted by the workshop to Board are being addressed. HMIS APPLICATION FOR RAILWAY HOSPITALS Users Requirements Study (URS) report has been approved. TURNKEY IMPLEMENTATION OF ERP AT ICF, CHENNAI Based on MD/CRIS meeting with CRIS officers and ED/ERP Railway Board, justification and estimate for implementing the entire Human Resource module except Payroll (already implemented) in ICF has been sent to CRIS headquarters for scrutiny. This is in line with decision to adopt HRMS module in Zonal Railways. Estimate and MOU for Operations and Maintenance Contract with ICF is under finalization with ICF. Integrated ICT System project at Rail Ral Coach Factory at Rae Bareily RCF-Raebareli IT project team has been put in place. Design Structure Matrix and detailed project PERT plan chart have been submitted to RCF-Raebareli. Comments of RCF-Raebareli have been received and further work for finalization of DPR-I is in hand. DPR-II Part-1 pertaining to video surveillance and networking portion of the IT system has been finalized and handed over to RCF-Raebareli for approval. Information on Gate Attendance System and data centre has also been sent to RCFRaebareli. The BETA testing of On-line Access and Mobility System has been started. Some PDAs, Tablets and RFID tags & readers have been sent to RCFRaebareli. Comments for improving of the Online Access and Mobility System have been received and the system is being further developed. The system development teams have already visited RCF, ICF, Maruti Suzuki and Barcode India etc. and work on various aspects of user requirement specification is in hand. Integrated ICT System project at RWP-BELA, PATNA/ BIHAR A NEW MOU has been signed on 12.12.2012 for setting up of integrated ICT system at RWP-BELA,Patna,Bihar. PARCEL MANAGEMENT PARCEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (PMS) For fully utilizing the PMS facility between DLI-HWH, CRIS has already started the procurement process and floated a tender for procurement of 16 Hand held terminals. Bids have been received and technical evaluation is in progress. Expansion of Hand Held Terminals for TTEs Abstract Estimate of Rs 9.59 crores has been sent to Board for approval .This will cater to all type of Hand Held devices as the present central infrastructure is reaching end of life and does not support the currently available HHTs. Hence replacement/up gradation of central site infrastructure is being proposed in revised estimate. Pilot project of Hand Held Terminals for TTEs. All the trains in the scope of pilot project have been implemented. Scope of work completed. Rs.46.24 lacs for project cost and Rs. 2.7 crore for maintenance is yet to be released, although all required information has been sent to NR as per Boards direction. 12 of 17

CIVIL ENGINEERING PROJECTS TRACK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM: i)System successfully implemented in 28 divisions of IR, ready to implement in balance 40 divisions once netbooks are procured as required new hardware to meet requirement of all 68 divisions is installed, training imparted to 26 division users further balance in progress, needs additional fund of Rs. 7.50 crores to meet cost of netbooks. ii) Continuous support being provided to users of the implemented modules.

The EEMS website and Application for entry of various Energy Data have been designed, developed and deployed on test bed environment. The application will monitor the maintenance of OHE Network and PSI for improving reliability of Traction equipments.The Detailed estimate is pending with RDSO/ Railway Board for sanction. 18 OAEW Projects Development of Web sites for other Govt./PSU Organizations. DFCC - DFCCIL web site, mailing solution and TUS are under AMC for O&M support till 30th November 2013. DFCC has confirmed its hosting the wesite on Railtel servers and accordingly proceedings have been initiated for realization of pending payments and project closure.

CRWC - CRWC web site, mailing solution and TUS are under AMC for O&M support till 31st Oct 2013. AMC renewal proposal is pending with CRWC for their scrutiny and acceptance. NTDPC NTDPC web site and Discussion Forum are under AMC for O&M support till 8th Jan 2014. AMC renewal proposal has been firmed up for 3 months till 31st March, 2014.

SECROADS E Working AMC Operation and Maintenance support of the SECROADS including minor modifications to the application software. The production environment was under AMC for O&M support till Feb, 2014. SECR intends to extend the support for further period of one year through remote support. Case Monitoring System for OSD/PRI, Railway Board As per requirement from OSD/PRI, the data import utility for extracting data from MR Cell has been implemented successfully and is being used live. MOU has been signed with OSD/PRI, RailwayBoard. A letter for the release of 25% advance payment as per MOU has been sent to Railway Board.
