METHOD STATEMENT FOR DUCT WORK INSTALLATION 1. GENERAL The method statement is for duct work installation. Detail of the procedure contained herein may be modified based on the actual site condition. 2. EQUIPMENT AND TOOLS Hammer Crimper Drilling machine Plier Scissors Ladder Scaffolding Chain block

3. WORKING PROCEDURE - Preparation 1. The duct work shall be fabricated in accordance with galvanized steel sheet fabrication for duct work document. 2. Type and size of ranger rod and/or support shall be selected in accordance with typical detail installation drawing 3. Check support level base on consented working drawing 4. Prepare drop rod steel chael or steel angle etc. as required in installation recommend. 5. Mark support location on ceiling or floor. PM6.14_E

1. Drill hold at least the anchor length in depth. 2. Clean the hole and insert anchor until top of anchor flush with the surface. 3. Expand anchor by use setting tool and hammering on tool until shoulder of tool contact lop of anchor. - Installation 1. Fix hanger or support in accounting to installation recommend and setting level as specified by approved shop drawing. 2. Installation fabrication duct on prepared support. Flange joint shall be located at all plant and equipment. All nuts. bits and washers shall have corrosion resistance finish and complete with all necessary jointing. 3. All duct work shall be constructed and erected to present a rigid installation free from sway drumming and movement. 4. Where duct work is defined as fire rated the construction and shaft be performed in accordance with Method statement of fire rated duct fabrication. 5. Where duct work pass thru wall the installation shall be perform in accordance with typical detail installation drawing. 6. All seams shall be incorporate sealant and be tightly formed. Edge sealants shall not be used. 7. To facilitate testing. Balancing and commissioning for the complete system. Test holes shall be provided in the duct work and provide with rubber blanking plugs. 1. QUALITY CONTROL Quality control works should be performed in the particular works as discussed in the following. 1. Preparing and installation work should be performed in accordance with approved shop working drawing and acceptance by inspection and check list as per attached. 2. Sizing thickness and fabrication workmanship shall be accepted by check list of galvanized steel sheet fabrication for duct work 3. Air leakage test shall be performed for high pressure duct method of test shell be conform specification.
