POST-TEACHING Reflections What I enjoyed most about this lesson plan was how students were engaged in discussing the topics mentioned in the Daily Curriculum worksheets. I taught four classes. The first two classes did not view these news clips, but they did a wonderful job in participating with the assignment. The remaining two classes already were prepared because they have completed this type of assignment. They viewed clips from the beginning of the week and knew most of the answers, so we used the worksheet titled, th Daily Curriculum (6 edition) as a review. This lesson plan had a couple problems. After viewing the news clip, Mrs. Fields and I noticed the first problem; the questions did not fit the news segment/clip. Mrs. Fields and I designed a different set of questions to give the students in the other two classes. I will always have a back-up plan when I am relying so much on technology. I enjoy all the features of the Smart board and web sites that offer good learning lesson plans; I understand that for one reason or the other, there is always a chance the

internet is not functioning or there is bad weather. My students seemed to enjoy the questions. They all worked throughout the video and most of them answered the questions correctly. I enjoyed collaborating ideas with Mrs. Fields for this lesson plan. I learned in order to be an effective educator you must be willing to work with others.
