I, Sheriff Brown, am Seeking another Four (4) Years as the Sheriff of Onslow County. My goal as Your Sheriff is to: Maintain and Preserve the Integrity and Quality of the Law Enforcement Profession. I am pro-God, Pro-Life, Pro-All People, Pro-America, Pro-100% Our Americas Constitution. I am Pro-100% For and 100% Support a Good, Decent, Respectable, and Trusted Law Enforcement Profession.

My Prayer Everyday to the Almighty God is Lord, give me Wisdom that I am Wiser than that old serpent Satan, yet make me Gentle as a Dove, through the Love of Jesus.

TODAY, FEBRUARY 2, 2014, I have Faith and Trust that I can present to you, the Onslow County Citizens, and You, the Employees of the Onslow County Sheriffs Office/Detention Center, one of the Best Sheriffs Office/Detention Center in the World, a Sheriffs Office/ Detention Center that has Integrity, Trust, and Commitment that you can Trust and Depend on to Care, Protect, and Serve You All with Fairness, Truth, and Equality. There are approximately 270 persons employed with the Onslow County Sheriffs Office/Detention Center. Those employees are all created by God equally in the Human Race, but of different Color, Gender, Age, Nationality, Personality, Politics, Ethnic Background, etc. Regardless of the diversity of the Onslow County Sheriffs Office/Detention Center Team, We Must Be One so that You, the Citizens of Onslow County, and You, the Employees of the Onslow County Sheriffs Office/Detention Center, are the Winners of Teamwork. Our Onslow County Sheriffs Office/Detention Center Team has the capability of speaking nine (9) languages. This could indicate the diversity of the Nationalities and Cultures that are represented within the Onslow County Sheriffs Office/Detention Center. There are 140 employees (52%) of the total workforce with prior military service. Of that 140 (52%) with prior military service, fifty six-(56) or 40% are retired from the Military. Those 140 employees with prior military service have almost 1800 years of service to our Great Nation America. Color, Gender, Age, and Nationality are equally represented throughout the workforce of the Onslow County Sheriffs Office/Detention Center. Color, Gender, Age, and Nationality are equally represented in Supervisory and Management Roles of the Onslow County Sherriffs Office/Detention Center. Opportunity for employment is available to all Qualified Residents of Onslow County. Without exception, we in the Law Enforcement Profession Must: See and Recognize that All People are Created Equal, the Poor, Rich, Black, White, Brown, Red, Purple, Green, Blue, whatever their Color, whatever their Nationality, whatever their Gender, whatever their Age, whatever their Politics, whatever, etc. Without Exception, Prejudice toward any of those diversities has no place in the Law Enforcement Profession. Without Exception, We in the Law Enforcement Profession Must be Committed to Caring for and Serving and Protecting All People, Fair, Honest, and Equal. Without Exception those in the Law Enforcement Profession must be Above Reproach, Must be Trustworthy, Must be Fair, and Never Prejudice. Without Exception, We in the Law Enforcement Profession, must Conduct ourselves at All Times as a Positive Upstanding Role Model for You, the Citizens, Your Children, Your Family, Your Community, and the Law Enforcement Profession. Everyone in the Law Enforcement Profession Must Have as their Core Values: Truth, Fairness, Equality, and an Inherent Belief that All People are Promised Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. Without Exception, no other Body of Your Government has been entrusted with such Great Power and Authority as those in the Law Enforcement Profession. The vast majority of our Duties and Functions are performed with only our conscience Watching and Directing us. Thus the Core Values of a person in the Law Enforcement Profession is Everything. Those in the Law Enforcement Profession have complete Power and Authority over You, Your Life, Your Family, Your Loved Ones, Your Rights, Your Freedom, Your future, and Everything Precious to Life. From the very word of a Law Enforcement Office, all those Precious Things of Life hang. That is why it does matter what the Core Values are for those in the Law Enforcement Profession. My Faith in God gives me Wisdom to be a Trusted Advisor to You, the Citizens, and You, the Employees. My over forty (40) years in Law Enforcement gives me the Knowledge and Experience to be a Trusted Sheriff and a Trusted Leader for You, the Citizens, and You, the Employees. My Commitment against: Prejudice, Crime, Corruption, and Injustice compel me to Stand Up Against those ugly evils when they threaten You, Your Community, and the Law Enforcement Profession. The Other Candidate is a good person; a Close Friend since we met on October 11, 1992, almost 22 years ago. He has been my Greatest Encourager and Supporter all these years. My Candidacy for Sheriff is not in any way against my Long-Time Friend, the Other Candidate. That Candidate knows the Onslow County Sheriffs Office and Detention Centers employees are the Best! That Candidate Knows me Very Well and he Knows, Without a Doubt, if there is Anything that will improve or make Better the Onslow County Sheriffs Office/ Detention Center, my Administrative Staff, the Employees, and I will implement it. My Candidacy for Sheriff is All About You and a Professional Law Enforcement Committed to Protecting and Serving All Citizens Equally, Without Prejudice, Trustworthy, Can be Trusted with the Rights of each Person, Respects the Family Unit, has Integrity, is Not Corrupt, and Promotes Service Above Self. As long as the Almighty God is for Me to be Your Sheriff, I will Stand Up for You, the Citizens. I will Stand Up for You, the Employees. I will Stand Up for a Professional Law Enforcement that All People Can Trust. VOTE TO MAINTAIN AND PRESERVE THE LAW ENFORCMENT PROFESSION. VOTE TO RE-ELECT SHERIFF ED BROWN!
