OUR ENEMIES WITHIN

Since the turn of the century, the 19th to the 20th Century, the United States has fought many wars and many Americans have been killed by our foreign enemies. What few if any realize is that the casualty list from our enemies within has been roughly equal. Yes, from within we have had enemies that have created about as many casualties and many times more destruction of property. These conclusions will of course be ridiculed. Im used to that. Many of my claims have been ridiculed over the years and nearly all of them, if not all of them, have since been proven true. This too will prove to be both true and terrible. Between 1896 and 1907 the fire insurance industry created three organizations that have grown powerful and deadly over the intervening years. During 1896 the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) was created. This organization created fire codes that are enforced as laws. Thus this organization is an underground and uncontrolled legislature that created laws enforced by governments at the federal, state and local levels. During 1903 the insurers created a branch of engineering that practices pseudo engineering. The Fire Protection Engineers (FPEs) interpret and help enforce the codes created by the NFPA. Because the NFPA codes are mainly oriented toward profiting from fire rather than the elimination of building fires and because enforcing the codes increases the fire losses rather than decreasing the carnage, I call the engineering by the FPEs to be Voodoo Engineering. During 1907 the insurers brought a testing laboratory into the market control system that was being created. This lab became known as Underwriters Laboratories. With the full weight of the insurers behind them these organizations evolved to control a major slice of the American Commerce. I believe the evil trio plus the fire insurance industry control several hundred billion dollars worth of American commerce annually. The game is money and the collateral is human lives. The NFPA allows profit making businesses to mainly wright the fire codes. These profit making businesses write their own products and system into the code that are enforced by the insurers, the fire departments plan reviewers and inspectors and by building officials. When an inspector forces a builder to install code required hose station for the building being constructed, for use by the occupants, and if the hose within the stations cannot be handled by the occupants then the code serves the seller while betraying the people. The NFPA codes are first of all mandatory selling tools that mainly create wealth but very little safety. The list of corrupted codes is long and growing longer. Underwriters Laboratories has gained near total control over a very percentage of the goods and systems sold throughout the United States and have been going international for years. Without the UL Logo, which falsely implies safety, billions of dollars of commerce cannot move off the shelves. Business leaders desiring to go into the marketplace must meet with UL management and they collectively agree to test parameters to be able to affix the UL Label to the product or system to be sold. There is a fee and it can be a large one and then there is another fee for each time the label is used on a product or device. But is the test an honest one or is it a just adequate enough to deceive the fire officials and the public? That is the rub. And when the device proves to be unsafe or inadequate for its intended use, only UL and the buyer of the testing will know it. There is no doubt about it, the client of the lab is always right and the consumer too often is dead. The number one initiator of fires within homes has been UL approved products, systems

and devices; especially those of an electrical or heat producing nature. Its been an amazing scam, incredibly successful and horribly destructive. The FPEs have been thought that NFPA codes that usually are created by biased committees, largely consisting of representatives of organizations that profit from fire, are based on engineering fundamentals and fire science. Most of those who write and vote on the codes, and enact them into laws that sell things, would not know fire science if it bit them where it hurt the most. But to buck the system and attempt to bypass the codes, or reveal the truth about the codes, is a tough row to hoe. So the FPEs play the game and the children burn. The NFPA codes and the UL certifications have been good to businesses that have become multi-billion dollar organizations by playing the codes and selling inadequate products excessive prices because those who refuse to buy can end up in big trouble with government officials. So builders and building owners who are the victims of the scam grit their teeth, swear a lot and buy what they have to buy. Home owners buy the smoke detectors which scream at them when they take a shower or burn the toast and then let their kids die because smoke is not what they detect. And when the big fire occurs and a lot of people die it is not the con artistes that sell the things that go to prison, and not the fire inspectors either; it is the poor guy who believe what he was buying would work when the fire occurred. What has been the toll in human life since the scam got started say during roughly 1900? The wrongful dead (due to fire regulatory corruption) I count at about 600,000. When those injured by fire are added to the dead I figure this toll has been about 3.5 million. And if those who have had their lives dramatically saddened by the losses (say siblings, mothers, fathers and close friends) I put the total human devastations at about 15 million. The property losses including the excessive insurance payments (due to higher potential for loss due to failures to properly protect), the costs of excessive number of fire departments and fire fighters and other costs related to the fire problem have resulted in financial losses that are just beyond calculating. All of is due to a fire regulatory system that has been prostituted to the profits motivation at the cost in proper and sane fire protection. I have covered a great multitude of the corrupt policies of the NFPA/UL regulators and these reports are well distributed to allies who also are disgusted with the wanton destruction and the never ending lies and deceptions that come from the fire regulatory profiteers. So, go ahead you critics of mine. Do your usual sneering. The facts are there and they are real. And the day when the fire regulatory corruption will become common knowledge is approaching.
