Do you all like stories? Well, now Im going to present a story entitled The Unfruitful Tree. Once, there was a farmer. He was not very wealthy as the farm didnt bear enough gold for him and his family. So, the farmer was in sorrow thinking how to become rich. Suddenly, he thought of his brother. Yes, my friends. He had a brother in town who was a gardener. He possessed a magnificent orchard full of the finest fruit trees. His skill and his beautiful trees were famous everywhere. The next sunrise, the farmer went into the town to visit his brother. He was astonished at the rows of trees that grew slender and smooth as wax tapers. The farmer thought, mmmm........... how lucky I would be, if I have my own orchard. Suddenly, the gardener said, "Look, my brother. I will give you an apple tree, the best from my garden. children shall enjoy it." The farmer was overjoyed and said, Oh! my dear brother. Im really grateful for your kindness. I shall repay your kindness once the tree bears fruits. Then, the gardener called his workmen and ordered them to take up the tree. The workmen carry it to the farmer's farm. The next morning the farmer began to wonder where he should plant it. "If I plant it on the hill, the wind might catch it and shake down the delicious fruit before it is ripe. If I plant it close to the road, passers-by will see it and rob me of its luscious apples. But, if I plant it too near the door of my house, my servants or the children may pick the fruit. Where shall I plant it? thought the farmer to himself. So, after he had thought for long, he planted the tree behind his barn, saying to him, "Prying thieves will not think to look for it here." Then, every day and night, he waited for the tree to bear its first apple. But, the tree bore neither fruit nor blossoms in the first year nor the second. He lost his patience of waiting for the fruits. Then, the farmer called his servant and said angrily, I have waited enough, man. Now, go and bring my brother to see his fruitful tree! You, and your children, and your children's

Soon, the farmers brother came. He asked, What happened, my brother ? The farmer reproached him angrily, saying "You have deceived me, and given me a barren tree instead of a fruitful one. This is the third year and still it brings nothing but leaves!" The gardener, laughed when he saw where the tree was planted and said, "You have planted the tree where it is exposed to cold winds, and has neither sun nor warmth. How, could you expect flowers and fruit? You have planted the tree with a greedy and suspicious heart. Then, how could you expect to reap a rich and generous harvest?" The farmer was very ashamed and apologized for his greediness and mistake. He promised to share whatever he has and not to be greedy anymore. Dear friends, this story teach us to be generous and sharing. We should not be greedy like the farmer. With that, I thank you.

The Magic Window

Once upon a time, there was a little boy. He was very ill. He spends all day in bed. He cannot move. He felt sad and blue. He only can look out of the window. Time passed. One day, he saw something in the window. It was a penguin eating a sandwich. The penguin said "good afternoon" to the boy. The boy was surprised. Then, he saw a monkey blowing up a balloon. The boy started to laugh loudly. The, the boy saw a pig playing a tambourine, an elephant jumping on a trampoline, and a dog wearing glasses and talking. The strange animals put joy in his heart, and in his body. After that, his health had improved. Later, he went back to school again. There, he talked to his friends about the strange things. Then, he saw something in his friend's school bag. The boys friend showed him the bag. The boy knows his best friend cheers the little boy up! From that day on, the little boy was very happy. They become very close friends.

If I plant it close to the road, passers-by will rob the apples. But, if I plant it near my house, my children may pick the fruit, he think to himself. After thinking for long, he planted the tree behind his barn. Years passed. The tree did not bore any fruit. Then, the farmer went to his brothers house. He said angrily, You have cheated me! The apple tree did not have any fruit. Then, the gardener followed him home. He saw the tree was planted near the barn. He laughed and said, Its coldhere. The plant didnot receive sunlight or warmth. Then, how could you expect flowers and fruit? You have planted the tree with a greedy heart. Then, how could you expect a rich and generous harvest?" The farmer was very ashamed and apologizes for his greediness and mistake.
