CHILD STUDY CENTER CURRICULUM PLAN: Infant/Toddler Spring 2014 WEEK 15 April 21-28 Miss Pappas Infant Activity

Two infant activities will be available all throughout the week. The first will be an indoor ball mobile, and the second will be a sensory swinging area outside. THEME: Playground activities DISCOVERY TABLE : Exploring the Textures of the Playground The outdoor discovery table will be utilized the entire week. A variety of materials that can be found on playground will be available for the children to manipulate. These materials include: woodchips, rocks, and sand.

CLASSROOM: Circle OTHER/Science A water table grid will be constructed in the indoor discovery table. Children will be able to experiment with funnels attached to clear tubes that will enable them to further enhance their overall knowledge of cause and effect using water.
