Our Lord Jesus Christ intimated His disciples
that the Comforter, and even the Spirit of Truth
shall be sent, whose words shall be true. He also said
that the Comforter shall teach and lead all to the
accurate knowledge of the truth. (John 16:13)
It was absolutely apparent that Our Lord Jesus the
Christ surrendered His life, and He had the power to
take it back. (John 10:18). It was He who deliberately
volunteered His life and Himself to the scribes, the
Pharisees, and the Chief priests. It was the efficacy of
His words which manifested when He said that He
would die but that His Father shall make Him rise up on
the third day. It is pathetic that the whole world has
accepted the false doctrine of the so-called Christians
that Our Lord Jesus the Christ was killed on Friday. It is
a misleading concept which should be disregarded.
Our Lord Jesus Christ had said that as Jonah the
fifth minor prophet, was in the belly of the whale for
three days and three nights, so shall the Son of God
be in the heart of the earth for three days and three
nights.” He said, "Nevertheless, I have many things to
say unto you but you cannot bear them now. But when
the Spirit of Truth shall come, He shall teach and lead
you to the accurate wisdom of the truth.John 16:12-13.
The orthodox churches claim that theirs was on Friday.

 God had allowed them to falsify the event for so long
until they prove themselves wrong. The Spirit of Truth
has come to unfold all things for the salvation of
mankind.

THE TIMING OF CHRIST'S DEATH:
I want to prove the importance of this week to
you just like a proof in Geometry or Algebra. Friday is
Passover day. Saturday was usually observed as the
Sabbath day. In view of the foregoing, they decided to
avoid causing an uproar (not on the feast day, lest there
be an uproar amongst the people). (Matthew 26:5) They
knew very well that the masses would challenge the
rulers on why the holy and historic days should be
defiled. Since He was God who had foreknowledge of
their plot and conspiracy, Our Lord Jesus Christ
celebrated the feast of Passover on Wednesday. This
shows that the wisdom of God is far greater than the
wisdom of men. If He had not wished subsequent
arraignment before the elders, Pharisees, scribe, and
chief priests, it would not have been possible.
You have already been told that the Jews counted 6
a.m. to 6 p.m. as one day and from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. as
one night. It then proves that 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on
Thursday was one day, 6 p.m. on Thursday to 6 a.m. on
Friday was one night. From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday

made the second day, and from 6 p.m. on Friday to 6
a.m. on Saturday made the second night. The third night
was 6 p.m. on Saturday to 6 a.m. on Sunday. By that
calculation, our submission has been proved. We are
waiting for the Popes, Archbishops, Bishops, and
Pastors of the orthodox churches to come and prove us
wrong. We do firmly believe that no sane person could
come to contest this divine truth except Satan and his
agents. Brethren, that is why we have to thank and
glorify Him for this wonderful and recondite wisdom
exposed to us.
Your brethren outside say there is no more
fasting because the Lord had done it on their behalf.
But these people fail to realize that the death of Our
Lord Jesus Christ marked the beginning of intensive
fasting and prayer. His death was to make us clean
and set us free from evil, so that when we fast, the
Lord will dwell in us and fill us with the Holy Spirit.
That is the reason the Scripture has said that flesh
and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God.(1 Cor
15:50).
The reason He asked the mother of the two sons
of Zebedee if they could drink of the same cup that He
drank was that the cup symbolizes the sins of the world.
And when Christ asked if they could be baptized of the
same baptism that He was baptized of, that symbolized
his death and resurrection, and it is this same way that
we all have to follow. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY.
And so when people go about researching here and
there, they will come up with nothing but this one way
that we are telling the entire world to follow -THIS
CUP IS THE SINS, THIS BAPTISM IS THE
DEATH AND THE RESURRECTION, AND UNTIL
ALL HAVE RECEIVED THESE PARTS THERE IS
NO WAY.
YOU WERE BOUGHT WITH A COSTLY
PRICE. FLESH AND BLOOD WAS SHED FOR
YOU SO WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT YOU
ARE WORKING WITH THE FATHER, YOU ARE
ALSO WITH THE FATHER AND YOU ARE HIS
TEMPLE HE ABIDES IN YOU AND YOU ARE
ALWAYS WITH HIM DESPITE YOUR
DIFFERENT CHURCH DOCTRINES.
People always resist the call for baptism. People
become stubborn and they feel that by so doing they will
be asked to abandon their different churches. That is not
what I am telling you. I AM NOT ASKING YOU TO
LEAVE YOUR CHURCHES, BUT I AM TELLING
YOU THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT IS AT WORK.
THIS IS THE TIME OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. HE
HAS TAKEN OVER THE ENTIRE WORLD, AND
AS MANY AS HAVE RECEIVED THIS, NOT BY
FORSAKING YOUR DIFFERENT CHURCHES,
BUT BY PUTTING INTO PRACTICE HIS
TEACHINGS, YOU WILL FROM NOW LIVE IN
SPIRIT, AND CONTINUE TO DO THAT WHICH
IS RIGHT.
HENCE THE TRUTH OF OUR LORD
JESUS CHRIST IS NOT KNOWN AGAIN IN THE
FLESH BECAUSE HE IS IN SPIRIT AND THAT IS
WHY THE MOMENT HE DIED AND
RESURRECTED, THE CARNAL SELF DIED AND
ALL THINGS MADE ANEW ARE NOW IN USE.

AND HE SAID THAT NOBODY SHOULD KNOW
HIM IN THE FLESH BUT IN SPIRIT BECAUSE
THE THINGS OF THE FLESH HAVE ALL DIED
AND PASSED AWAY.
Do not argue the scripture with anyone
anymore, because when we talk about this glory, it is the
Holy Spirit. THE GLORY OF THIS KINGDOM IS
THE HOLY SPIRIT, AND THE MOMENT YOU
GET BAPTIZED YOU WILL SEE HIM, AND YOU
WILL BE REVEALED TO HIM. IF YOU HAVE
NEVER MORTIFIED THE FLESH, THEN THE
SPIRIT CANNOT WORK. TO BE ABLE TO
RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT YOU MUST
MORTIFY THE FLESH. THAT IS WHY OUR
LORD JESUS CHRIST DIED AND
RESURRECTED ON THE THIRD DAY AND ON
RECEIVING THE HOLY SPIRIT, HE BECAME A
ROCK. THAT IS THE ROCK WHICH WILL
NEVER BE DESTROYED. The reason you are found
wanting is because of the flesh. The spirit is no more
active in you, it is no more stable. You are advised that
having resurrected with Christ after baptism, and having
been cleansed, you should forsake sin. Do not fornicate,
do not commit any other sin after you are cleansed.
THE WATCH AND PRAY WE OBSERVE
EVERY WEDNESDAY NIGHT IS LIKENED TO
THE LAST SUPPER. ALL INHABITANTS OF
THE WORLD SHOULD OBSERVE IT, BECAUSE
IT IS THE CORRECT AND MOST DIVINE
TEACHING AND THE ENTIRE WORLD MUST
RECEIVE AND PRACTICE THIS DIVINE
TEACHING. AND HAVING RECEIVED THIS
YOU WILL KNOW THAT YOU ARE ON THE
BRINK OF BEING SAVED.
THIS WATCH AND PRAY SERVICE HAS
MADE THE ENTIRE WORLD TO BE CALM, TO
RECEIVE PEACE AND TO HAVE LIBERTY.

THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT WE ALL HAVE

TO OBSERVE. THIS IS JUST THE TEACHING.
But what is of the flesh is all death and we are no
more in the flesh, we are now in Spirit. That is why
there is no more Jew or Greek, we all are one as the
Holy Spirit is now the one to be worshiped.
WHY WE HOLD THE THREE PENTECOSTAL
MEETINGS IN A YEAR:
Our Lord Jesus Christ had said, "But the
Comforter,which is the Holy Ghost, whom thr Father
will send in my name, He shall teach you all things and
bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have
said unto you." (John 14:26). The
April Pentecostal (EASTER Pentecostal) is significant
in that it symbolizes the period Our Lord Jesus Christ
suffered untold hardship, torment, and death just for the
atonement of the sins of mankind. It is a period to
celebrate the true essence of His mission, torture, death
and resurrection. In the same vein the
August Pentecostal Assembly connotes the period
when Our Lord Jesus Christ was baptized and revealed
to the entire world by John the Baptist. That is why the
observance is so tremendously significant. It was then
that He was exposed to the Jewish nation and the entire
world for acknowledgment and identification as the
Lamb of God who takes away the sins of
mankind.(John 1:29). Hitherto, He had been in
the world for a good twenty -nine years, but the world
knew Him not until he baptized at the age of thirty. That
is why we usually rejoice greatly in the commemoration
of His revelation through water baptism by total
immersion.
We observe the December Pentecostal in
remembrance of His divine birth. If He had not been
born of a woman, He would not have died to shed His
precious blood for the remission of the sins of the entire
humanity
resurrection, He made a statement that on the third day,
God will make Him rise from the clutches of death and
Hades. But for the arrival of the Holy Spirit, His
detractors would have falsified history to their benefit.
They would have their own advantage.

THE HOLY SPIRIT, THE COMFORTER:

You have nothing to preach. What you have to
say is exactly what you heard and saw. That is why He
said that when He, the Holy Spirit and Comforter, shall
come He will lead you to the accurate knowledge of
truth. Because He will never speak on His own, but will
reveal unto all, whatever He hears and receives from the
Father. He shall glorify me because everything that
belongs to my Father belongs to me. (John 16:13-15).
Brethren, have you realized that these prophecies are
fulfilled in your midst today? Every other place you
may go, you will find that people preach from their
carnal knowledge and imagination. But here, it is the
direct and correct word which proceeded from our Lord
Jesus Christ which is used. When you say that person
can preach so well, what does he preach? Our Lord
Jesus Christ is the Word of God. He is the beginning
and the end, and the only Teacher, and mouthpiece
of God. It is our bounding duty to correct the
erroneous arithmetical calculations of the three days
and three nights duration of Christ's death, and end
the perversion of the truth by the world.

THE SACROSANCTITY OF
THE PROPHECIES OF CHRIST
PROVED
First Bible Lesson: Matthew 16:21
"From that time forth began Jesus to shew
unto his disciples, how that he must go unto
Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders
and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and
raised again the third day."
Second Bible Lesson: Matthew 12:40
"For as Jonas was three days and three

man be three days and three nights in the heart of
the earth."

"Jesus answered and said unto them,
Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it

Brethren, this time last year we had this same
Gospel. This year again, it has repeated itself; and next
year again the same Gospel shall feature. This is so to
conform with the instruction given by the Lord. The
world thinks that the Word of God is a subject which

man can use his knowledge or wisdom to manipulate.
What do you go to the university to study when wisdom,
and the word is here? The Lord had said that you should
preach His death until He comes back.. When you are
eating and drinking, He says, you should preach His
death. It is said that the Gospel of the Cross sounds
stupid in the ears of the children of perdition, but to
the believers it is salvation. (1 Cor 1:18).
The Word Of God Is Not Subject To Carnal
Interpretation
I always laugh at the world because they think
the Scriptures can be compared with the worldly
knowledge and wisdom. The word of God is a laid-
down principle which only has to be followed to the
letter. Whether you are an old man or a child or an adult,
it does not matter as far as the Word of God is
concerned. Whether you are a visioner, or a dreamer or
whatever you may be, it does not matter as far as the
Scripture is concerned. This is because Our Lord Jesus
Christ is the foundation, and He is the same
yesterday, today, and forever. (Heb 13:8). This is the
knowledge that has eluded the whole Christendom and
the entire world. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but
no single word of God covenanted in the Scripture shall
pass away. (Matthew 5:18/24:35). You have nothing to
preach. What you have to say is exactly what you heard
and saw. That is why He said that when He, the Holy
Spirit and Comforter, shall come He will lead you to the
accurate knowledge of truth.

Season And Out Of Season” (2 Tim 4:2)
What did Apostle Paul say? He said that Christ
did not send him forth to baptize people. Rather, he was
sent out to preach the Gospel, not with his wisdom of
words or knowledge so that the Cross of Christ would not
be ineffectual. (1 Cor 1:17). If you do not preach the
word of the Lord it means that you have done nothing,
and have labored in vain, because His Words are the
Words of God. He is the beginning and end of the world.
Heaven and earth shall pass away but none of the Words
of Our Lord Jesus shall pass away until they are fulfilled.
(Matt 5:18/Mark 13:31). People all the world over
abandon preaching about the foundation stone, which is
Our Lord Jesus Christ, and they instead preach about
other things uncalled for. The entire world lacks life, the
power of God and the Holy Spirit because He is the Holy
Spirit.
Call Upon God, And You Are Saved
It is said that whosoever calls on the Name of the
Lord shall be saved. (Acts 2:21). The poser then is how
somebody can call on the name of the person he does not

believe in? How also can anybody believe in somebody
he has never heard of? And how would the people hear
when there is no preacher? How then can somebody
preach except the one is being commissioned? (Rom
10:14-15). If you do not preach about Christ, His birth,
His persecutions and suffering, His mission, His life style
and finally His death, how do you expect people to
believe in Him? Tell the people, the electorate, about the
candidate's profile, his ability, his previous positions and
achievements. It is from what people hear and know
about the candidate that will convince the electorate to
vote for him. That exactly was what Peter, James, John
and the rest of the disciples were doing for the Lord.
They became more and more interested in Him and
believed in Him too. Before the people go to believe in
the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Apostles had gone
and preached to them about the power and salvation in
His name; and that whoever called on that name stood
saved.
Division Between The Church Denominations
The case today is different from the point of view
of various denominations. They preach vain glories: how
good they alone can preach, how they are the only church
recognized by God and how other denominations are
busy campaigning for and about themselves and saying
nothing about Christ and salvation through Him. One
church will claim it started before the other; it did this or
that and will stop at nothing to blackmail and condemn
other denominations. They pursue nothing towards the
propagation of the name of the Lord, the foundation
stone. With this trend of events how will people call on
the Lord; let alone believe in Him?

The Dual Nature Of Man
At the completion of all creations, and right from
that moment, God handed everything to Adam to control.
(Gen 1:28). You will be surprised to note how man can
be happy and sad. It is also surprising to find that
somebody could do good at nine o'clock but by ten, one
hour later, he engages in doing evil. It is equally
surprising too to find that somebody could be so happy
and joyous at 12 noon but by one o'clock, the same
person is found crying and mourning. That is the trouble
with mankind. Paul, frustratingly, had said that the good
things he desired to do he had never done; but the evil
things that he ought not to have done, those he found
himself doing. (Rom 7:19). He concluded, therefore, that
if he did these things he abhors, it was not himself per se
who did them but the evil within him.
Brethren, I want to take you back home so that
you will know that the Bible is the Ark of the
Covenant and the Constitution of God. It is the word
of God unchangeable; the one that exists yesterday,
today, tomorrow, and forever. For that reason
nobody should add or subtract anything to or from
it. Everybody is only bound to obey the Words of the
Scripture to the letter; whatever it says you should
do it, and what it advises against, you should refrain
from it.
The World Was Created By The Word Of God
The wisdom of the world as regards the
Scripture only misleads people into thinking and
believing that certain portions and chapters of the Bible
were directed to certain races or people. For instance
that some books of the Bible were directed to the

Corinthians, or Romans, or Ephesians. Who are these
people? Are you not one of them?
It is said that in the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
(John 1:1). From God comes light, life, darkness, sun,
man, soil, birds, trees and all things existing in the
world. Without God, there is nothing made that was
made. Chapter one of Genesis has made it clear that
whatever existed was created through the Word of God.
God only finally decided to create man in His own
image, and likeness. "What do you understand by God
creating man in his own image?" The meaning is that
each of you sitting there carry the image of God. The
way you look and move your head so does God. All
the body components He has, you have them too.
Figment Of Peoples Imagination
If the people were wont to believe they would
have believed in Our Lord Jesus Christ that He was God
Himself. It is written in the book of Psalms 82:6 that
Ye are gods, the children of the Most High. Those of
you who argue that man is not God, the child of the
Most High, have you not heard that portion? And do you
not remember that heaven and earth shall pass, but the
Word of God endureth forever? To say that man is not
God and vice versa, and to argue that Our Lord Jesus
Christ has not yet come, is tantamount to saying that
God does not exist. But our Lord Jesus the Christ said
"I and my Father are one." (John 10:30). And the
word became anagram because the Lord professed that
He was one with the Father. He did not come for any
other reason but to confirm every word that was
written about Him and the God in man; and that

God and man are one and inseparable.
Men Are Gods
He did not come to preach anything but to
testify and strengthen our faith about all the laid-down
rules of God and to constantly remind the entire world
about them. That was the reason He asked the people
who wanted to stone Him: "For which of the good
things I have done do you stone me?" (John 10:32).
Even the blind, the deaf, the dumb and the rest of the
people he had healed all ganged up to stone Him. They
said they stoned him, not because of any of the good
deeds, but because being a human being, He claimed to
be the Son of God, thus disgracing God. The Lord then
asked them whether it was not written in their law that
they were gods. (John 10:34). If therefore He, Christ,
being sent by God declares Himself to be the Son of
God, where does He blaspheme against God? By this
illustration, the Lord rightly condemned the erroneous
impression the people have been having to the effect
that God does not exist. That was the first assignment.
The people replied saying that they did not stone Him
for any of the good works He accomplished. That was
so because at that time anybody who ventured to declare
himself a child of God faced persecution and murder.
The Jews never believed there was a God, or any other
being in existence except themselves alone. They in fact
arrogated to themselves the power of creation and
existence. In the end they had to believe that He was the
Son of God after that revelation, and that He was God
Himself. That goes to confirm and strengthen His earlier
statement that men were the children of the most High,
and so were themselves gods.

Do you remember prophet Isaiah's prophecy
that : a virgin shall conceive and shall bring forth a
child who shall be named Emmanuel, meaning God
with us? (Isaiah 7:14). Does that not point to you that
Our Lord Jesus Christ is God who created heaven
and earth? He is the one who came on earth, and
who has come again to gather us together and make
us whole and new. Why then do you not preach about
Him?
God Created Man In His Own Image
Every type of calculation starts with zero and
goes to infinity. For one to be the Son of God subsumes
that he has been the Son of man. That explains why
they said, "Let us create man in our own image." If
He were not man, how would Our Lord Jesus Christ
have been the Son of God and God Himself? It,
therefore, stands to reason that if He was the Son of
man, He also was the Son of God, and the God who
made heaven and earth.
The Wages Of Sin Is Death
Brethren, you can now see why you fall a prey
to anger and disobedience. God instructed man to eat of
every fruit in the Garden except the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil. That any person who
ventures to eat of it shall die. (Gen 2:17). But the
deceiver went around and gave counter-instructions to
Adam and Eve and convinced them that God's
instruction that they should not eat of the fruit of the tree
of the knowledge of good and evil, was ill-conceived.

The Advance Information Of The Lord On His Fate
Before the time, He told His disciples that He
must go unto Jerusalem and be tortured and spat on and
killed, and how God will resurrect Him on the third day.
How do you consider that statement? You cannot
perceive all that is happening because flesh and blood
cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. Who is the person
who can bring into existence what was not in
existence, apart from God? Who can cause what is in
existence to cease to exist except the Father? How was it
possible for the disciples to believe such a statement
when they had seen him in previous times, how he
disappeared from those who wanted to arrest him? But
now He is saying that He was going to be killed. Such a
thing would not happen.
Only The Will Of God Can Prevail
Today you will be convinced that whatever
happens is the will of God. All things that happen are
in compliance with the will of God. There is no Satan
or ghost or man. It is God alone who is in existence.
We are not going to reveal everything about Him today.
Tomorrow we shall show you another side of it and will
continue to show you till eternity. All of you are
Thomases. When you are told that something is going to
happen, you argue that you are fed up with their false
visions.
Many of you do not believe that God is the
Truth, and His Words are true. When His word falls
on the ground it breaks into mighty works and rises up
to accomplish His will. You will now realize your
nakedness, that it was not the Jews who killed Him. It
was not Judas Iscariot who betrayed Him. All these

things happened to Him according to what was written
about Him, which had to be fulfilled, which you do not
believe. We are not going to rush. You should be
satisfied with that for today. Hold fast what you hear. As
from that time He started to show His disciples how He
would go to Jerusalem and be tortured and killed and
finally God would cause Him to resurrect. Hold this for
the time being within your heart. If you look at it
carnally you will be forced to ask what has He done to
them that they should do these things to Him. More so if
he did not go there and yet he enumerated all that will
happen to Him, how would his statements be fulfilled?
Why The Lord Jesus Died
Despite the fact that the flesh reels against this
truth, does the fastidiousness of the goat stop it from
being sold? The pertinent question now is, “For what
reason would these things enumerated happen to Him in
Jerusalem?”It is for my sake and for your sake and for
the sake of the whole world that He had to suffer these
tribulations.
God has created man and has given him all
glory. But man is stubborn and disobedient and had
again fallen into death. That is why Our Lord Jesus
Christ said that He had to come and die for man and
redeem the very world that He labored to create. Just
as He has said that if He does not go away the
Comforter will not come. If He did not come where
would the whole world be today? Genesis chapter one
to Revelation chapter twenty-two bears witness of
Him. When the appointed time comes each thing will
manifest. When it is not the time, you may fast and cry
but it will not happen. That is why you attribute

everything to juju and mermaid.
I want you to believe in Him and all that He has
spoken. So do not argue anymore. Do not ask any
question but believe in Him. That is today's lesson. No
matter what you are, no matter what you can do, it is
only His will that will manifest. There is no Satan. We
are all empty. He is everything. The presentation of
gold, myrrh and frankincense at His birth (Matthew
2:11) was what God promised Adam as the sign of His
return when he was sent out of Eden. Adam wept and
fasted and prayed but God told him that He would come
in the fullness of time. He will come and suffer
tribulation and affliction and He would be crucified on
the cross. The signs of His coming would be myrrh,
frankincense and gold. These will signify the time of
His arrival. He also said that a spear shall pierce His
side. God said this and they are all there in the Bible.
And so nothing is accidental to Him. All I do is to refer
you to the various portions where they occur.
John said that he saw a book that was written
within, and on the back side sealed with seven seals, and
no man in heaven or earth, neither under the earth, was
able to open the book, neither to remove the book- seal
and look therein. John said that he wept bitterly because
no man was found worthy to open and read the book.
And one of the elders said unto him, “Weep not;
because the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of
David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose
the seven seals thereof,” (because he was the one that
was slain). (Revelation 5:5-6). Were you the one that
was slain?
Only The Lord Jesus Accepted To Redeem Man
Just as when God asked, “Who will I send to

redeem man?” Neither angel nor man answered. It was
only our Lord Jesus Christ who accepted to come
and shed His blood for man because He created man,
and so He had sympathy for His own. Again, when
the voice asked, “Who is worthy to open the book and to
read from it?” No person could, except Him alone. This
is because He was The One Who Was Slain. He owns
us; and so He was very willing to die for us. But on
these two occasions God himself proved willing and
able to save man because He created us. That is why He
is the same yesterday, today and forever. (Heb 13:8).
Let our second lesson be read. You have bishops and
cardinals sitting here now but have they understood all
these things? You carry the Bible like a history
textbook. But you do not know what is written in it
because you were not there when it was written.
Second Bible Lesson: Matthew 12:40
"For as Jonas was three days and three
nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of
man be three days and three nights in the heart of
the earth."
Brethren, have you heard that? It is said that the
testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy. (Revelation
19:10). If I want to expatiate on all these statements I
will show you where each of them was fulfilled. Then
why do you joke with His word? Why do the whites and
blacks and colored shelve aside His words and delight
themselves in carnal words? Why do they do that? They
stumbled and fell because they refused to listen to the
Words of God. The worldly people do not believe in

God and His Words. He said that as Jonah was in the
belly of the whale for three days and three nights so
shall the Son of man be in the heart of the earth for
three days and three nights.
Faith Is The Substance Of Things Hoped For: The
Evidence Of Things Unseen (Heb 11:1).
Have you ever heard of any man who says a
word, and that statement manifests exactly as he stated
it? Mention that person. Have you ever heard somebody
making a statement and, after a thousand years and
more, that statement is affirmed without addition or
subtraction? Have you seen such a thing? Right now
when you see things happen in the world, you lament
that the world has changed. When you read the book of
Ecclesiastes you will see that there is nothing new in the
world. (Eccl 1:9). All these things have already been in
existence. It is only the evolution of nature and time.
The publicans and Pharisees, and Sadducees and the
believers of old are all of us sitting here today.
The Israelites told Moses that they were tired of
hearing "Thus said the Lord." They wanted to see Him
with their eyes and they would be satisfied. Did He not
come to them? When He came, did they identify
Him? Did they hear His voice? Just as they did not
hear when they did not see Him, so did they not hear
Him when He came to them. And that is exactly what
is happening in this generation. That is why Christ
told Thomas, “Blessed is he who does not see and yet
believes.” (John 20:29).
Do Not Search For God Because You Will Not See
Him

When you go to the sun to search for God, does
God see you? Is He not traveling with you? Is He not on
earth? Is He not in the air? Did you find him? What has
baffled the world is that they have traveled into space in
search of Him but they cannot see Him yet He is looking
at them. He is doing all his things accordingly, without
opposition. We are those to be pitied.
You remember His first statement that He
will be killed, but God shall resurrect Him after
three days. He did not say after two days. He did not
say after two or four days. He made no mistake about it.
The second lesson confirms the statement in the first
lesson. Since He is God and knows how crafty man is;
that he can change the days to suit his purpose; He
emphatically said that He will resurrect after three
days and three nights.
That The Lord Was Crucified On Friday Is Proved
Wrong
All Christendom believes that He was killed on
Friday. Simple counting indicates that Friday was the
first day. Saturday was the second day. That is all; and
that does not add up to the three days which Our Lord
Jesus Christ predicted.
Who is a liar? Now receive this doctrine:
Thursday is the first day as He was condemned to
death at 6 a.m. on Thursday. Friday evening counted as
the second day and Saturday afternoon counted as the
third day. The nights of Thursday, Friday and Saturday
make three nights. And so, as He predicted, He was in
the grave for three days and three nights. I have
proved this to you as the theorems of geometry and
algebra without addition or subtraction because if you

are an accountant you have to account for any excesses
or deficits. Let Christendom, the Moslems, Hindus and
Buddhists prove their case in accordance with the
teachings of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Brethren, have you noticed that we have no
other duties apart from preaching Him and His
prophecies and their fulfillment; what had happened,
what will happen and what is happening? People say
that they have the Holy Spirit, and are taught by the
Holy Spirit. Has the Holy Spirit taught them these truths
and confirmed same to them? As it was written that
when the Holy Spirit comes He will remind you of
these things and testify of Him. (John 15:26). Has the
Holy Spirit done this to them?
Only The Holy Spirit Reminds Us Of All Truths
Christ has said that, "The Comforter, which is
the Holy Ghost, will bring all things to your
remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." (John
14:26). Have you not seen how these things are being
brought to your remembrance? If you claim that a
certain person is the Holy Spirit why does he not remind
us of these things?
Heaven and earth shall pass away but His words
shall never pass away. Have you not heard what He said
in Matthew 16:21? Have you not also seen what He
said in Matthew 12:40. Is there any difference? Are
they not the same statements? Why do you go to preach
one thing, and the other person preaches another thing?
How many Gods do we have? That is the problem in the
world: but as for us we have no problem. It is said a
testimony in the mouth of two or three confirms a fact.
(Matt 18:16/Deut 17:6). Let us listen to the golden text.

Golden Text: John 2:19
"Jesus answered and said unto them,
Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it
up."
Whoever Speaks Of Himself Seeks His Own Glory
That is the third testimony which is borne by
John. That is exactly what happened. This will show to
you that His Words are true and stand forever. Since He
created the world and man and everything, and He
knows everything, nothing baffles Him about man
because He knows and controls everything.
I would love to open your eyes and ears and
reveal these things unto you; but you are not prepared. I
have not started my work as yet, that is why I am
scratching just the surface of the real issue. This is
the era of Our Lord Jesus Christ, and the time of His
glory; and so I have to preach His glory and glorify
Him. But the worldly people argue that Brotherhood
does not know Him. If we do not know Him, whom do
we know? Who else knows Him apart from
Brotherhood?
Brethren, have you not seen that history is again
repeating itself? They asked: where had this man this
wisdom, having not learned? He told them that His
teachings were not His own. (John 7:16). If you practise
these teachings, you will know whether they came from
man or from God. Whoever speaks of himself seeks for
his own glory. But whoever seeks the will of he who
sent him, the same is the truth and there is no deceit in
him. (John 7:18)

He Predicts and Acts
Have you not visualized that Christ is the truth.
What is truth? The truth is God. He said that He will
go to Jerusalem and shall be killed, but God shall cause
Him to resurrect on the third day. This is the truth
because it was ultimately fulfilled; as Jonah was in the
belly of the whale for three days and three nights.
Was this not fulfilled? Our golden text confirms the
same fact. When He went into the temple and saw the
people changing money, He took a whip and flogged
them and drove them out. (John 2:15).They asked Him,
“What sign do you show to confirm such an action as
this?”
Many people say that He was angry and that was
why He drove the money-changers out of the temple.
(Matthew 21:12). He was not angry in the least. It is
what has been written about Him. If you come to me, I
will show to you where it was written that He will do
this. And so He cannot act against Himself. Whatever
was said of old about Him, whenever He came, He had
to fulfill it.
The Significance Of The Temple Episode
Earthly things are used to illustrate heavenly
things. That whip which He used in the temple, can you
not feel it in your heart? Whenever you lie or steal or
commit any act of sin, this whip will work in your heart,
and you will feel the guilt.
All the actions which Our Lord Jesus Christ
took at different times were those written about Him.
If you had time, I would refer you at once to them.
He did everything to prove that He is God. All that
He did had spiritual overtones. They were what had

been written about Him. And whenever He came He had
to carry them out in order to fulfill His prophecies.
It is the owner of the corpse who bears the head.
All the prophets, who prophesied about Him, did not
know what they were doing, and so they did not believe.
But now He has come to fulfill the conjecture of the
people that God has arrived. Where did He go to? As
you are sitting down here, all of you are prophets.
God passes through angels and spirits to carry out
his messages. It is the same God who works through
and in all these phenomena.
Relationship Between Man And Angel
That is why when the angel Gabriel went and
told Zachariah that his wife will bring forth a male child
who shall be called John, Zachariah asked: “How will
this thing be? I am old and my wife is well stricken in
years.” You are aware that his wife had long passed the
age of menopause. Zachariah himself had lost his vital
forces. He could not be intimate with his wife any
longer. And so Zachariah thought that the Angel was
making fun of him. You can see the frailty of man. But
He remains God forever.
I mention this so as to prove to you that you are
prophets, so long as you are in the human form,
spirit-messengers of God called angels. On this
occasion, an angel was bearing the message of God.
Gabriel said: “I am Gabriel who stands before God; and
since you do not believe my message you shall be dumb
until the time these things are fulfilled.” (Luke
1:19-20).When he said that he was Gabriel who stands
before God, did Zachariah see God? And so you who
go about giving the messages of God, you do not see

Him,but He is inside you. He is the one doing
everything. But you continue to look at the sky and
inside the water.
I also refer you to the conversation between
Philip and Christ. When Christ was always referring to
the Father, Philip asked Him to show them the Father,
and they will be satisfied. (John 14:8).That was Philip
who had left all to follow Him, asking to see the Father.
It means that all along he did not know the one he was
walking with.
Christ The Embodiment Of The True God
Our Lord Jesus Christ asked him, “Have I been
with you all this time and yet you do not know me,
Philip? Believest thou not that I am in the Father and the
Father in me? Why do you ask me to show you the
Father? The words that I speak unto you, I speak not of
myself but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the
works.” (John 14:9-10).
Is that not what is happening now? That is why
He was called the Son of man, because He is man. He
is also called the Son of God because He is God
Himself. He is the Son of Man, the Son of God and
God Himself. All things abide in Him. He is also
called prophet, priest and King. He is all these souls.
He is the Father. He is the Son, and He is the Holy
Spirit.
Brethren, you can now observe that your
problem is that you do not believe the Scriptures. When
the Sadducees came tempting Him about that woman
who had seven husbands and they all died, they also
asked him whose wife she will be in the resurrection.
What did Our Lord answer them? He said, “The

children of this world marry and are given in
marriage but they who shall be accounted worthy to
inherit that world and the resurrection from the
dead neither marry nor are given in marriage; for
they are like the angles being children of the
resurrection.(Matt 22:30/Luke 20:34-35).
Christ The Fountain Of Righteousness
Whether you believe it or not, He is the truth.
You are told to forsake fornication, falsehood, anger and
sin but you say you will refrain from them gradually.
Whether you believe it or not, it must be fulfilled
because He is the truth. As we have borne the image of
the earthly - anger, hatred, quarreling, fighting and
division; we shall also bear the image of the heavenly -
love, life, truth, righteousness, meekness, peace (1 Cor
15:49). It is a question of necessity. As by one man's sin
death entered into the world so also by the righteousness
of one, Our Lord Jesus Christ, have we eternal life.
(Rom 5:17-19)
Have you known the Christ? Do you honor
Him? Have you preached Him unto the world? Have
you made Him known to people? Have you not gone
to establish your own church? You say that you have
saved a number of souls; how have you done that? Were
you the one nailed on the Cross? He says: “I have other
sheep which are not of this fold and I must also bring
them in and they will hear my voice. And there shall
be one fold under one shepherd.” (John 10:16).
A Round Peg In A Round Hole

many church denominations observe this? It is the
owner of the corpse that carries the head. It is the duty
of the whole world to suffer with Him until the day He
resurrected on Easter Sunday. There would have been
no problems again, if you all did this.
You remember what the Pharisees asked Him?
Why is it that the children of the bridegroom do not
fast? He replied that while the bridegroom is with them
they need not fast. But the days will come, when the
bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then
shall they fast in those days. He spoke also a parable
unto them: No man putteth a piece of a new garment
upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a
rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth
not with the old. And no man putteth new wine into old
bottles; else the new will burst the bottles, and be
spilled, and the bottles shall perish. But new wine must
be put into new bottles; and both are preserved." (Matt
9:15-17 / Luke 5:34-38).
You are a bishop, a reverend but who in the whole world
understands the meaning of this statement? There is
none who understands.
Brethren, I do not want to take you further than
this. If I continue to speak to you about this particular
person, it would be the revelation of this same truth. I
am not selling it out. I am giving it freely to you.
Only The Spirit Of God Knows What God Is
The people were angry at the statement of Our
Lord Jesus Christ, because He claimed that He will
destroy the temple which took them 46 years to
complete, and build it in three days. But He was

speaking of Himself. He was talking about His own
death when He said, "Destroy this temple and I will
build it up in three days."
It is said that the spirit of man knows not what is
in God except the spirit of God. (1 Cor 2:11). And so it
is God alone who knows Himself. No other person
knows His thoughts. That is why He says, ‘Except you
are born of the water and spirit, you cannot enter
into the Kingdom of God.’ (John 3:5).
This is because we did not receive the spirit of this
world but the Spirit of God who freely reveals to us the
things that are of God. If you do not have the spirit, you
cannot hear the words of the spirit. They sound like
foolishness in your ears. (1 Cor 2:14)
The Church Denominations Do Not Have The Spirit
Of God
That is why if the Pope or reverend or bishop
comes here, he cannot stay because he cannot pray. This
is that Kingdom of God, but since he has not got the
Spirit of God, he does not know what is here. Once a
bishop confessed that he would love to come to
Brotherhood but what is he coming to do here? All that
he studied has no bearing on Brotherhood. All he
studied for 20 years as a bishop would mean nothing to
him now if he came to Brotherhood. It means they do
not have the Spirit, and when they see this truth they
realize their nakedness. Bring any bishop or reverend
here and let him listen to me; see if he will not run away
after hearing me. This is because he shall in no time
realize his nakedness

Lord, thou knowest. And he said, These are they which
came out of great tribulation, and have washed their
garments, and made them white in the blood of the
Lamb. Therefore are they before the throne of God
serving him day and night in his temple". (Revelation
7:13-15). Have you not seen the fulfillment of this
prophecy here in Brotherhood? Mention any church or
secret society or government which serves God day and
night.
Brethren, I do no want to take you farther than
this. Every time I will continue to refer you to the
various things that were written, and how they are
fulfilled in us. That is our assignment.
If there is any word of God which you think
shall pass away, you are mistaken. If you think that
there are some that will not be fulfilled, I tell you

MATHEMATICS OF GOOD
FRIDAY
First Bible Lesson: Matthew 16:21
"From that time forth began Jesus to shew
unto his disciples, how that he must go unto
Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders
and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be

OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST LAID THE
FOUNDATION FOR HIS DEATH
Brethren, the texts read to you summarize the
theme of our revelation today. It is said that by the
words of your mouth are you condemned or justified.
(Matthew 12:37). Our Lord Jesus Christ said that He
would go to Jerusalem where He would be tortured,

spanked and finally killed. He said further that He
would rise up on the third day. (Matthew 16:21).
I want everybody to be in complete silence so that the
wax in your ears might be removed, and your bad
eye-sight, due to spiritual blindness, might be restored.
As you listen attentively to this gospel, all your
encumbrances are taken away, and you are fully
liberated. It is pathetic to notice that the whole of
Christendom has lied to the world that Our Lord
Jesus Christ was crucified on a Friday.
But Our Lord Jesus Christ is the truth, and
His words are true. I would want the Zairians, the
Cameroonians, the Liberians, the Americans, and others
who are present, and indeed, all the inhabitants of the
world, to listen with rapt attention to this gospel so that
they can correct the wrong concept dished out to the
masses by the orthodox churches. It is absolutely wrong
to construe that Our Lord Jesus Christ was nailed to the
Cross on Friday. This claim has no substance, and lacks
the Biblical foundation and backing.
Many people have been to Bible colleges, or
theological schools and seminaries all in the quest of
studying religions and the Bible. Some have been to
India, the U.S.A., Russia, and other places to study the
Bible for 20 to 30 years. If they still hold unto the
argument that Friday was the first day and Saturday, the
second day, what about the third day? The orthodox
churches keep on shouting Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, but they
find it difficult to know when He was crucified. The
knowledge of when Our Lord Jesus the Christ was
crucified has eluded the entire world.
The significance of the Wednesday Night Watch and
Pray started during the time when the feet of the

disciples of Our Lord Jesus Christ were washed. The
weekly Thursday fasting and prayers do symbolize
the day He was condemned at 6 a.m., and at precisely 9
a.m., the same day, He was crucified. I thank Matthew
and John and a few other apostles who were able to
document the teachings and the crucial events during
the mission and operation of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
If these records had not been kept, the enemies of
Our Lord Jesus Christ could have succeeded in
suppressing the truth; and, of course, the truth
would not have been known. They would have
permanently established their deceit and falsehood in
the world for their own advantage.
GOD'S WORDS ARE SACROSANCT
Our Lord Jesus Christ has said that heaven and
earth will pass away, but not an iota of the word of God
shall pass away. (Matthew 24:35). The word of God is
not deficient in power. That is why when the word of
God is spoken, it will do mighty works; and can
break mighty stones to manifest its purpose.
(Matthew 21:44). Right from Genesis to Malachi, the
words prophesied about Him had been consummated. If
you are told by someone that there will be rain by 12
noon the following day, and eventually the rain does not
fall, how will you regard such a person? Similarly if a
being tells you that there will be a heavy down-pour by
noon tomorrow, and by noon the following day it rains
cats and dogs, how shall you regard that personage?
That is how the spirits of falsehood and error
are being differentiated from THE SPIRIT OF
TRUTH. If a person says that by 12 noon the next day
there will be rain, and eventually by that time there is no

rain, that spirit is not from God. But if he predicts that
there will be rain and it rains as predicted, then that
spirit is directly from the Father Almighty. That is
why He is the Truth, and His words are true. Our
Lord Jesus Christ intimated His disciples that the
Comforter, and even the Spirit of Truth shall be sent,
whose words shall be true. He also said that the
Comforter shall teach and lead all to the accurate
knowledge of the truth. (John 16:12-14).
It was absolutely apparent that Our Lord Jesus
the Christ surrendered His life, and He had the power to
take it back. (John 10:18). It was He who deliberately
volunteered His life and Himself to the scribes, the
Pharisees, and the Chief priests. It was the efficacy of
His words which manifested when He said that He
would die but that His Father shall make Him rise up on
the third day. It is pathetic that the whole world has
accepted the false doctrine of the so-called Christians
that Our Lord Jesus the Christ was killed on Friday. It is
a misleading concept which should be disregarded.
Our Lord Jesus Christ had said that as Jonah
the fifth minor prophet, was in the belly of the whale
for three days and three nights, so shall the Son of
God be in the heart of the earth for three days and
three nights.” He said, "Nevertheless, I have many
things to say unto you but you cannot bear them now.
But when the Spirit of Truth shall come, He shall teach
and lead you to the accurate wisdom of the truth.(John
16:12-13).
THE BIBLE CONFIRMS THAT CHRIST DIED ON
THURSDAY:
We have not come here to joke, that is why we

 started commemorating the events of His death since
last week. He was killed on a Thursday, and He
remained there in the heart of the earth. You can then
see that the serious miscalculation of the orthodox
churches is very much at variance with the biblical
records. Ironically, these are the very people who boast
that they have been to seminaries and colleges of
theology and religion to get masters and doctorate
degrees in Theology and Religion. They are not even
conversant with simple biblical events and calculations.
Our Lord Jesus Christ was condemned to death on
Thursday morning about 6 a.m. If He had been killed
on Friday as advocated by the churches of
Christendom, there would have been a mathematical
error in calculation, as He resurrected on Sunday at
6 a.m. It is this significant event that has caused the
Brotherhood world to set aside every Wednesday Night
of the week for "Watch and Pray" to commemorate
the unique event which ushered in a hallmark in the
existence of the entire humanity.
CHRIST REMAINED IN THE HEART OF THE
EARTH FOR THREE DAYS AND THREE
NIGHTS:
Our Lord Jesus Christ was arrested and arraigned
before the Elders, Pharisees, Scribes, and the Chief
Priests at 3 a.m. following Wednesday night. This was
after the Last Super He had arranged for that night.
According to the Jews, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. was one
day, and from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. was calculated as one
night. It stands to reason that from 6 a.m. on Thursday to
6 p.m. on the same Thursday, was one day, and from 6
p.m. on Thursday to 6 a.m. on Friday was calculated as

one night. In the same vein from 6 a.m. on Friday to 6
p.m. of the same Friday was two days. Similarly, from 6
p.m. of Friday to 6 a.m. of Saturday made two nights.
From 6 a.m. of Saturday to 6 p.m. of the same Saturday,
completed the three days, and from 6 p.m. of Saturday to
6 a.m. of Sunday concluded the three nights. This is the
veritable truth which had eluded the world. The
spoken words of Our Lord Jesus the Christ have
materialized, and those who believe in all these truths are
saved, and all their inexplicable problems are wiped
away.
WHY WE HOLD THREE PENTECOSTAL
MEETINGS IN A YEAR:
Our Lord Jesus Christ had said, "But the
Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father
will send in my name, He shall teach you all things
and bring all things to your remembrance,
whatsoever I have said unto you.” (John 14:26).
The April Pentecostal (Easter Pentecostal) is
significant in that it symbolizes the period Our Lord
Jesus Christ suffered untold hardship, torment, and
death just for the atonement of the sins of mankind. It
is a period to celebrate the true essence of His mission,
torture, death, and resurrection.
In the same vein the August Pentecostal
Assembly connotes the period when Our Lord Jesus
Christ was baptized and revealed to the entire world
by John the Baptist. That is why the observance is so
tremendously significant. It was then that He was
exposed to the Jewish nation and the entire world for

is Passover day. Saturday was usually observed as the
Sabbath day. In view of the foregoing, they decided to

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF "WATCH AND PRAY"

preparedness to die so that the entire humanity might
be salvaged with His stainless blood. The Jews and the
Scribes once asked why His disciples never fasted like
the rest of the people. Our Lord Jesus Christ told them
that it was not necessary for His disciples to do so when
the bridegroom was with them. (Luke 5:34). That is why
it is declared that those who believe fervently in him are
saved. I WANT YOU TO OBSERVE THIS "WATCH
AND PRAY" VERY STRICTLY RIGHT FROM
NOW UNTIL ETERNITY. As many as will observe it,
all their problems, sickness, court cases, poverty, and
wretchedness are wiped away. If you observe all these

things, as spelt out in today's gospel, you are saved, and
all your problems are taken away.
I have other sheep which are not of this fold.
They all must be brought so that there might be one fold
and one shepherd. Our Lord Jesus Christ had finished His
works, and the ball is now in the court of the people of
the world to observe the three significant events in
Brotherhood. And those who sincerely and diligently
observe these remarkable events are liberated and saved.
Who are those clad in white garments? They are
those who have come out from great tribulations and
have been washed clean by the blood of the Lamb who
takes away the sins of the world. (Revelation 7:13-14).
The three days (72 hours) dry fasting is a great
cleansing exercise in this new kingdom. And it is pathetic
to notice that many brethren do not observe it and the
Wednesday night "Watch and Pray." The "Watch and
Pray" is one of the events observed in respect of the
death of Our Lord Jesus Christ. We who suffer with Him
are fully liberated from the bondage of Satan. These
observances reaffirm our belief in Him. This is also the
enabling factor which by His grace we are salvaged. We
are also glorified with Him.
THE BLOOD OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST
MADE THE LAST REPARATION FOR OUR SINS:
The death of Our Lord Jesus the Christ was never
caused by forces outside the confines of His authority.
The supreme sacrifice paid by Our Lord Jesus Christ
was the last sacrifice to be ever made for the
atonement of mankind. It was comparatively unique,
for the sacrifices of goats, sheep or cows were no longer
tenable or acceptable, since the life of man could not

have been atoned for by the blood of sheep, ram or cow.
All such sacrifices were carnally oriented. Our Lord
Jesus Christ had to shed His precious blood for the
complete remission of the sins of mankind. That is why
there should be no beating of drums, burning of incense
or candles, pouring of libation, nor using of perfumes.
All should be in reverence with absolute humility,
meekness, and love for Christ. That is why our Lord
Jesus said through the mouth of our brother Paul that
Christ sent him not to baptize, but to preach the gospel of
the death of Our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross for the
liberation of those who had been spiritually enslaved.
The preaching of the cross is to them that perish,
foolishness. But unto us who are saved, it is life eternal.
(1 Corinthians 1:18). That is why I am telling you that
by listening to this life-giving gospel, those whose spirits
were dormant and dead, are restored to life again. All
sorts of problems and encumbrances are taken away once
and for all from them. Let our second lesson be read
again.
Second Bible Lesson: John 2:19
"Jesus answered and said unto them,
Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it
up."
THE TRUTH HAS COME:
Brethren, have you heard that text? The Bible
says:"In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every
word of truth be established." (2 Cor 13:1). The second
lesson confirms the three days and three nights death
bid and its unique essence. He said, "Destroy this temple,

and I will build it after three days." It also serves as a
releasing factor, setting free those who were in spiritual,
as well as mental bondage. Those who were condemned
have been freed, and those who were sick in the hospitals
are now permanently healed.
It is said, "He that speaketh of himself seeketh
his own glory, but he that seeketh his glory that sent
him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in
him." (John 7:18). Those servants who speak and seek
for their glory, there is not even an iota of truth in them.
They are fraught with falsehood.
I want the conventional churches to prove their
case with regards to the timing and calculation of the
number of days Our Lord Jesus the Christ was in the
heart of the earth. We in Brotherhood have proved our
case mathematically, with biblical support. The orthodox
churches claim that theirs was on Friday. God had
allowed them to falsify the event for so long until they
prove themselves wrong. The Spirit of Truth has come
to unfold all things for the salvation of mankind.
Some people are saying that it does not matter.
To assume such a position is wrong. This is a unique and
important matter which borders on the foundation of
humanity, so it is wrong to treat the matter so lightly.
Their calculation from Friday will land them on two days
and two nights during which time Our Lord Jesus Christ
would still have been in the heart of the earth. This is
wrong and we cannot compromise or condone this
satanic and misleading assumption.
That is why this gospel must be documented for the
enlightenment and the salvation of mankind. Their
deliberate attempt to falsify a genuine truth and to throw
dust into the eyes of the entire world must be exposed.

 We will continue to expose the truth until Satan
and his agents vacate their throne. A member, through
false vision, told a brother to reject his real wife (sister)
with children and to take a new wife, claiming that the
Father ordered him to give such a vision. But the poser
is: why should the Father do a thing like that? Which
Father in the first place? Such a thing is outrageous and
questionable. It is equally blackmail and blasphemy. I am
opposed to any falsehood in the world, including the
Jesus Christ's death saga. The calculation is misleading.
The case of His birth, which has been fixed for
convenience, could be tolerable, but for His death, upon
which the salvation of the generality of mankind
depends, nobody should toy or falsify it on any account.
I will not allow any false doctrine to be spread
again in the world, and it is against this background that I
am advocating that nothing should be added or subtracted
at all in this case. It is said that if a tree does not fall, the
axe shall not rest. Right now a greater number of the
conventional churches have begun to adopt the
Brotherhood mode of worship. This is indeed welcome
news. Man or Satan is prone to sin, falsehood, and
blunders. But God is truthful and all his actions are true
and just. This should help us to realize that sooner or
later His words must be fulfilled.Did Our Lord Jesus
Christ not say, "Every plant which my heavenly Father
hath not planted shall be rooted up?" (Matthew
15:13). That is why all false and misleading observances
about His death and other issues must be crushed.
His death and resurrection form the
foundation which must be celebrated with pomp and
joy. His death has been the last covenanted arrangement,
and that was why He said, "It is finished,” (John 19:30)

as He allowed His precious blood to be spilled for the
atonement of the sins of men. This supreme sacrifice
has superseded other sacrifices of goats, sheep or
rams, and has wiped away all sinfulness. To this end,
nobody has the right to impute sin on other people. The
sins of Adam had condemned the entire human race to
death, but His unique and supreme sacrifice has come to
redeem humanity from the bondage and the clutches of
Satan. Therefore if any Pastor says he suffers for
anyone's sake, he is a blatant liar. It is Our Lord Jesus
Christ who had really suffered for all mankind. It is said
that the testimonies from two or three people confirm the
truth. Brethren let our golden text be read.
Golden Text: Matthew 12:40
"For as Jonas was three days and three
nights in the whale's belly: so shall the son of man
be three days and three nights in the heart of the
earth."
THE TIMING OF CHRIST'S DEATH:
You have already been told that the Jews counted
6 a.m. to 6 p.m. as one day, and from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. as
one night. It then proves that 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on
Thursday was one day, 6 p.m. on Thursday to 6 a.m. on
Friday was one night. From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday
made the second day, and from 6 p.m. on Friday to 6 a.m.
on Saturday made the second night. The third night was 6
p.m. on Saturday to 6 a.m. on Sunday. By that
calculation, our submission has been proved. We are
waiting for the Popes, Archbishops, Bishops, and Pastors
of the orthodox churches to come and prove us wrong.

We do firmly believe that no sane person could come to
contest this divine truth except Satan and his agents.
Brethren, that is why we have to thank and glorify Him
for this wonderful and recondite wisdom exposed to us.
On our part, as we believe and practicalize this wonderful
revelation, all our problems, difficulties, sickness and
deaths are taken away. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the
mediator of the new covenant, the only true and sincere
friend. If therefore we suffer with Him, we shall also be
glorified with Him.
THE GREAT EXPOSITION:
It therefore becomes absolutely reasonable that
Wednesdays and Thursdays should be regarded as
holy days, and they must be set aside for observance
of these historic events. Those in secret cults and
fraternities do know the efficacy of the esoteric events
but they have for years hidden them from other
inhabitants of the world. They personally observe these
holy days but they would not expose the essence to other
people outside their secret groups.
It is misleading to say that Our Lord Jesus Christ
was dead whereas He is lavishly moving about doing His
businesses. The esoteric wisdom the members of secret
cults were trying to hide are now exposed so that the
Bible prophesy might be fulfilled which says that
whatever had been hidden shall be revealed. (Luke 12:2).
They tried to hide the truth, but the Holy Spirit of truth
has come to expose all things. There is no variableness in
the truth.
The Jews in Jerusalem have not yet believed that
Our Lord Jesus Christ has come in the form of man. They
are of the opinion that Elijah must first come before the

Messiah would come. But when the Messiah - Our Lord
Jesus Christ - was with them, preaching and healing
people all over the place, they neither believed nor
identified with Him at all. They wanted Elijah to
crash-land like a bird from the sky. Their unbelief has
made them to be visited by untold hardships. And in this
era also, people are still expecting Our Lord Jesus Christ
to crash-land from the blue skies. Fortunately, even the
heathens have witnessed and have heralded to the world
that Our Lord Jesus Christ is now on earth. He is born
of a woman. It has never been heard that any person had
ever jumped down to earth from the sky. This is food for
thought for the inhabitants of the world.
BY NATURAL LAW, EVERY MAN IS BORN OF A
WOMAN:
Do you mean to tell us that Our Lord Jesus Christ
was not born by a woman? Was the heavens not there for
Him to crash-land from? We do not want to divert into
that area right now, but we simply want to expose the
necessary ingredients to affirm the authenticity of this
divine claim and revelation.
The three days and three nights saga are too
strong and important to be ignored. For God said through
prophet Isaiah that they will hear, but will harden their
hearts. (Isaiah 55:3). They do not want to see reason so
that they might be saved. It is the Father who is doing His
work. I do not see how a man could be so foolish as to
fail to see reason. A person who goes to Bible College or
School of Theology should be conversant with the Bible.
Nevertheless, this simple mathematical calculation has
eluded them. They do not realize that Our Lord Jesus
Christ was crucified on Thursday. It is God who has

beclouded their intellects, and has hindered them from
seeing reason.
When the angels told them that, “This same Jesus
which is taken up from you into heaven shall so come in
like manner as ye have seen Him go into heaven,”(Acts
1:11) the worldly people interpreted it to mean that He
will crash-land from the blue skies. It is pathetic to
realize that the simple meaning of this statement is not
known by the people of the world. The full meaning of
it all depicts that just as He was taken up as a human
being, it is in like manner, that is as a human being,
that He shall come back.
Revelation 12:5 has clearly affirmed the truth
that He must be born of a woman. It is pathetic that most
of them who have graduated from Bible Colleges or
Schools of Theology, (and some have twenty to thirty
Bibles of various versions), have not been able to give
the correct interpretation to this simple Bible quotation.
Brethren, we should watch out for what may happen in
the nearest future, it should not be a surprise to you.
Brethren, I do not intend to take you further. A
stroke of the cane is sufficient to the wise. Those who
have ears to hear, let them hear. May God bless His holy
words. Amen

feast of the passover, and the Son of man is

high priest, who was called Caiaphas, And
consulted that they might take Jesus by
subtlety, and kill him. But they said, Not on
the feast day, lest there be an uproar among
the people."

THE CENTER OF GOOD AND EVIL:
Beloved brethren, the wisdom contained in the
Holy Bible, from Genesis to Revelations is confounding
and indeed mysterious. This is why the Bible is called
the Ark of Covenant of God, for it contains all the
plans of God. It is worthy to note that all the wisdom,
craftiness, evil and good, which abound in the world
today are reflected in the Holy Bible. The Holy Bible
constitutes the tree of Good and Evil as recorded in
the revelation of John the Divine. The Bible could be a
blessing or a curse, depending the interpretation given to
it by the individual. The positive interpretation of the
Holy Bible bears good fruits while its misinterpretation
perpetrates all forms of evil. It is in this regard that you
are asked to be careful. From the aforesaid therefore, it
should be noted that the Holy Bible constitutes both the
beginning and the end of anything man can think of.
The members of cults, secret societies, prayer
houses, mystic schools, etc. challenge and criticize the
Holy Bible. But they concentrate on the misleading laws
of Moses, David, among other prophets. And whenever
they are cautioned for practicing such, they give biblical
backing to those deeds and affirm that God approved
same before they were embedded in His Holy book. But
this sermon shall not center on this, instead, it seeks to
remind you of the word of life which you forgot, though
it still has great bearing on the world of today.
In the Golden Text, emphasis is on the feast of
Passover. If you could think retrospectively, you would
recall that a feast whereby male animals were slaughtered
and consumed took place in Egypt and it led to the death
of all the first born sons in the land of Egypt. That

incident made king Pharaoh free the Israelites. The feast
referred to in our Golden text today, commemorates the
liberty which God extended to the people of Israel from
the land of Egypt. And it is exactly represented by the
Holy Week in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star which
marks the Holy Week of Passover in which the said feast
was conducted, hence, you see most people killing up to
ten cows for meat, to commemorate that day. But
pathetically, killing many cows for meat to
commemorate a day is a misconception and in fact,
erroneous, because or any appreciation to that effect
could be expressed in many other ways, without
necessarily killing animals.
You know, our Lord Jesus Christ came as the
last sacrifice. He came and exchanged His life for the
killing of animals for sacrifice. It is to this end that we
sing the Spiritual song which says: ' I have no sacrifice to
offer, for the Son of the Almighty God is the only
sacrifice.'
Beloved, the act of offering sacrifice to God
started after Adam and Eve had erred in the garden.
People used to offer sacrifices to be reconciled to God.
But when Our Lord Jesus Christ came and gave His life
as a ransom for the salvation of man and pronounced
while on the cross, that sins have finished, all forms of
sacrifices ended. His death for the remission of sins
clearly spells out to us that He is the one to forgive,
cleanse, and draw us nearer to God. Our sins are the
major causes of our problems in life.
THE HIDDEN KNOWLEDGE REVEALED:
The wisdom of the Father confounds the entire
world, hence, Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is

accused by the world of using an entirely different Bible.
But this is not correct. Today, many people do not
know the ram Abel offered as a sacrifice to God was
Abel himself. Abel did not even know this. But all that
had no effect. Aside from the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus
Christ, no other type of sacrifice could have cleansed
man.
This had to be so because it was written that it is
only through the shedding of a spotless blood that
mankind would be saved, hence, Our Lord Jesus Christ
had to offer himself so that the prophecy about him might
be fulfilled. Before this time, people used to dupe others
of money and other valuable items in the name of
sacrifice, and after such sacrifices, their conditions is
worsened. But the Father, being so merciful, has come to
put an end to such deceit and misconception, and
streamline things for us. He came and offered Himself as
the last sacrifice and declared Himself man's advocate
with the Father. And being that He marked the last
sacrifice, we must not, on any account, indulge in
offering any form of sacrifice any longer. Whoever offers
sacrifice needs to pray fervently for himself, for he has
committed the worst sin.
In the Golden Text, we are made to understand
that the Jews and the Chief Priests did everything
humanly possible to make sure Christ was crucified on a
day that should not disturb and also distort the peace,
freedom, and joy of the day of the Passover Feast. Note
that Friday is the day of the Passover feast while
Saturday is the Sabbath day for the Jews. So, in order
not to bring about confusion on the day of the feast, they
all resolved that He, Christ, should be crucified on
Thursday. And this conspiracy by the Jews was known

by our Lord Jesus Christ; hence, He conducted His
Passover on Wednesday, in order to hasten the
fulfillment of the scriptures. So, the Holy Week we
observe in BCS is rightly in commemoration of that
Holy week of Passover.
The doctrines in Brotherhood of the Cross and
Star depict exactly what happened during the week Christ
was crucified. Hence we keep watch and pray every
Wednesday and fast on every Thursday of the week.
It was on a Thursday when Our Lord Jesus Christ
was crucified, and great things happened on that day,
one of which was the earthquake which claimed many
lives. The Wednesday night which preceded the
Thursday, was a wonderful and terrifying one, which is
why I always urge you to watch and pray every
Wednesday night from 12 midnight to 3 am
onThursday morning, when the watch and pray
service comes to an end.
After the Passover that Christ conducted, the
Jews got hold of Christ at about 3.00 a.m. on Thursday
and crucified Him at about 9.00 of the same day. His
crucifixion marked the end of all forms of sins and
problems. Therefore, you should refrain from all forms
of sins and offering of sacrifices. Sacrifices, you should
note, have nothing to do with godliness. That is why I
condemn the act of sacrificing in its entirety.
In order to fulfill His promises to Abraham, God
handed over this kingdom to Abraham (our father).
Today, it is the Holy Spirit who reigns in the kingdom
and you should, of a necessity, refrain from all manner of
sins so as to be worthy of the kingdom. The word of God
is such that which when it falls on the ground, it breaks
mighty stones. This is why you are advised to take

particular note of this gospel. The Everlasting Gospel
Center is doing a good work by documenting all the
gospel form the Father for posterity.
In John 16:12-14, our Lord Jesus Christ said: "I
have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear
them now. Howbeit, when He, the Spirit of truth is come,
He will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of
himself: but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak:
and He shall show you things to come. He shall glorify
me, for he shall receive of mine and shall show it unto
you."
All that I am doing now in the world is in
consonance with above biblical excerpt. It is true that the
Holy Spirit personified has taught man all things and
brought to his remembrance what he hitherto forgot.
Hence, your duty is to witness and practice the
injunctions of God so as to testify to his mighty works of
redemption on earth. Read the first lesson again.
FIRST BIBLE LESSON: LUKE 17:1-2
"Then said he unto the disciples, It is
impossible but that offences will come: but
woe unto him, through whom they come! It
were better for him that a millstone were
hanged about his neck, and he cast into the
sea, than that he should offend one of these
little ones."
THE SOURCE OF MAN'S PROBLEMS:
The words of our Lord Jesus Christ are very

significant and efficacious. From the first lesson it is
affirmed that there is bound to be a stumbling block,
therefore, no amount of prayer, fasting, ministry work,
ritual sacrifices, etc. can prevent same from happening.
Our Lord Jesus Christ, in all His endeavors, tried to
avoid constituting a stumbling block to people. Recall
His conversation with Peter at a certain time as recorded
in Matthew 17:24-27. So note that it is as a result of
your behaviors, deeds, etc. people derail from the path of
rectitude, abuse God, revile and shun Him, you are bound
to be punished. In fact, whoever causes his fellow man to
be offended receives more punishment than the one who
was offended.
Man's problems occur as a result of his
deliberate refusal to embrace, with reverence ,what God
enjoins him to do. An adage has it that whichever food is
palatable in the mouth of a sick person is what normally
kills him. This adage is the whole truth, for many people
are dying of falsehood, drunkenness, violence, deceit,
adultery, and other sins which God strongly forbids. No
other thing but your sin and disobedience cause problems
to you.
God did not create Adam and Eve on the same day.
He first created Adam. But since Adam saw his stay in
the Garden of Eden as a deprivation, resulting in
loneliness, he requested God to give him a companion.
God obliged, but unfortunately, Adam was ignorantly
inviting a stumbling block to himself by presenting such
a request before God. He Adam, thought he needed a
companion who would make his life complete, but
pathetically, the same companion Eve, later became the
cause of his downfall, curse, suffering, tribulations, and
death.

 The problems of many people are traceable to the
children, husbands, wives, cars, landed property, etc. Yet
these are the things we often relentlessly request from
God. So, all the problems you experience are caused
by you. God has to a great extent regretted ever creating
man because man, today, has become a source of sorrow
to God. There is no man who seeks for God's happiness,
for man is always ready to offend God in every aspect.
Angels, trees, birds and other creatures of God, except
man alone, are all obedient to the creator. And as a result
we suffer more than every other creature. We have
problems because we have caused God to be reviled,
accused falsely, cautioned, mocked at and shunned by
most people. Man to a great extent has soiled God's
reputation.
Abel was not killed by some distant relative
from a distant location, but he was killed by a very close
relation, in the person of Cain, (his brother, Cain).
Therefore the cause of your problems, damnation,
tribulation, and other shortcomings in life are not far
fetched. Watch carefully and you will realize that your
downfall and other problems are caused by the very
things you claim to be ultimate in your life. It is against
this background that you are that you are warned against
loving the world and the fullness therein for whoever
loves the world and the fullness therein has not the love
of the Father in him. Read the second lesson again.
SECOND BIBLE LESSON: JOHN 13:18-19
"I speak not of you all: I know whom I

have chosen: but that the scripture may be
fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath
lifted up his heel against me. Now I tell you
before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye
may believe that I am he."
BEWARE OF THE TRAITOR:
Have you now realized that in most cases, it is
he who eats with you that often lifts up his heel against
you? So, you need to be very careful. Now think of this,
amongst all the disciples of Our Lord Jesus Christ, He
loved and trusted Judas Iscariot the most, hence, He
placed him at the highest rank as far as the hierarchy of
His administration was concerned. This same Judas
Iscariot betrayed Christ to the Jews. Judas' action
confirms that it is the person or thing you love the
most that constitutes your downfall.
Your problems or shortcomings do not come
from afar. It is in this regard that you hear most villagers
being the architects of the robbery in their respective
villages. Take note of the case of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
It was the disciple He regarded and trusted most who
betrayed Him. Moses, as a matter of fact was betrayed by
his brother Aaron. The queen of Sheba who also was very
close to Solomon, betrayed Solomon. Sampson also was
betrayed by his beloved wife. It was as a result of the
magnitude of love he had for the wife that he exposed his
secrets to her, thereby exposing himself to danger. In
order to achieve their aims, those who who conspire
against you will first begin to create a rapport with you
before going on to execute such conspiracy. Your foe
does not seek your downfall, instead, it is your friend and

lover who seeks to kill you. Hence, you are enjoined not
to love the world and the fullness therein, for whoever
loves the world has no love for God. So, let all your
endeavors, hope, faith, love, etc, be on God.
A woman once handed over her child to a
monkey to look after. One day the monkey told the child
that if he should die, his mother or father would be the
cause of his death. And so it was that when the mother of
child told the father of the whereabouts of the child, he
out of annoyance, loaded his rifle and went to kill the
monkey. But unfortunately, he mistakenly shot the child
in the place of the monkey which he originally intended
to kill. So, all things that happen to you come from those
whom you know closely. Recall how Jezebel convinced
those who were very close to her to worship
man-made-gods and as a result they all perished.
Also, there once lived a king who was very
straight-forward and had no friend in his city. Because of
his oath towards keeping friends in his city, there was no
possibility of harming him, regardless of people's plans
to do so. But to ensure that he was killed, the friend he
kept outside his city was contacted and the modality on
how to trap the king was negotiated. It was this friend of
his that he kept outside his city, who poisoned him. If I
should continue to enumerate the harm done to many
people by those who they claim to be their inveterate
friends, relatives, colleagues etc., the list is inexhaustible.
Hence you are asked to love, trust, and hope in God
alone. Because if all your hope, faith, love, etc., are on
God, nobody would be able to harm you, for you
would be on top of the world. Hoping on man, wealth
and other material things is what is causing troubles in
the world today.

THE AFTERMATH OF DISOBEDIENCE:
God instructed Adam not to receive any
instructions from any man or angel, for he God was
always there to direct him. But because Adam violated
such divine injunctions, he was cursed by God.
There is so much trouble and confusion in the
world today between the Arabs and the Israelis. This is
because, biologically, Ishmael, the son of Hagar, was the
first son of Abraham, as the Arabs claim. But spiritually,
Isaac, the first son of Sarah, was the real first son of
Abraham, which is what the Israelites believe. And
because of these, there is great confusion in the world
today. But if Sarah did not convince Abraham to go into
Hagar, her maid, and if Abraham too did not hearken to
such misleading advice, but had waited for God's promise
on them to manifest, there would have been peace in the
world today. So it is in fact disastrous to violate God's
divine injunctions. It is to this end that the Father does
not trust anybody, neither does He hope on man. The
teachings I impart to you, are the prerequisites for
salvation, so, whoever perishes is to blame for trampling
upon these teachings. Read the golden text again.
GOLDEN TEXT: MATTHEW 26:1-5
"And it came to pass, when Jesus had
finished all these sayings, he said unto his
disciples, Ye know that after two days is the
feast of the passover, and the Son of man is
betrayed to be crucified. Then assembled
together the chief priests, and the scribes, and
the elders of the people, unto the palace of the

high priest, who was called Caiaphas, And
consulted that they might take Jesus by
subtlety, and kill him. But they said, Not on
the feast day, lest there be an uproar among
the people."
PUT YOUR TRUST IN GOD:
The whole world is ignorant of the fact that our Lord
Jesus Christ was crucified on Thursday. So it is necessary
that people, especially the doubting Thomases of our age
should be here to receive this truth in order to realize
their folly. Note that the watch and pray we organize
every Wednesday night commemorates the Passover
feast that Christ had with disciples and this exercise
should be embraced by everyone.
The teachings imparted here are not found in
any part of the world. And my only advise to you is that
you love the God with all your heart, mind, and soul, for
if you do this, you are whole, filled, and on top of the
world. Do not put your hope or trust in any other thing so
that you may not regret at the end. But as you continue to
love, trust, and put your hope on money, woman, man,
etc. you are bound to have problems in life.
It said that a stroke of the cane is enough for the
wise. Let those who have ears, hear what the spirit has
imparted to the world. May God bless His holy words.

FIRST BIBLE LESSON: MATTHEW 12:40
“For as Jonas was three days and three
nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man
be three days and three nights in the heart of the
earth.”
SECOND BIBLE LESSON: MATTHEW 16:21
“From that time forth began Jesus to show
unto his disciples, how he must go unto Jerusalem,
and suffer many things of the elders and chief
priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised
again the third day.”
GOLDEN TEXT: JOHN 2:19-20
“Jesus answered and said unto them,
Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it
up. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was
this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in
three days?"
Many of you become surprised when we talk
about 72 hours dry fasting. You wonder how this will
happen, but I want to tell you that you will enjoy the best
part of it once you start observing it. That is why
whatever we do in Brotherhood does not come from
individuals as a matter of pride, challenge, and not
because of your academic wisdom but all that we do here
is what we accept to do, having realized that we are
serving our Lord. Remember He has said that one with a
divided mind cannot serve God. He again said that one
has to put new wine into new wine skin before it can be

 most preserved. The arrangements we are talking about
have eluded the entire world. It has confounded the
knowledge of the entire inhabitants of the world. We
must strive to worship Him in spirit and in truth.
For this reason, he said unto His disciples, it is
difficult for those who believe in material wealth to enter
the kingdom of God. In the same manner, some of you
here go about lamenting, wondering what has brought
you to BCS, and you forget the scriptures which say that
those who devote their minds to material wealth will not
have access to the kingdom of God. It is not cars,
children, money that brought you into this kingdom?
That is why when you ponder on these things and the fact
that they are not yet within your reach, you look morose
and cry all the time. At times you pretend that these
things do not bother you, but I tell you, of a truth you, are
deceiving yourself. This is so because as long as you
continue to bother yourself, you are in earnest leaving
your whole consciousness where your wealth and money
is piled up. Recall what happened between Peter and his
Master, Our Lord Jesus Christ. Peter asked Him,"What
will happen to us who have forsaken our parents our
country, our city, our wealth and every other thing to
follow you?"
And Christ looking at them knew what was in
their mind and then He said to them, this is very difficult
before man, but the impossibility before man is quite
possible in the sight of God. And if you will not mortify
the flesh how can the spirit take charge of where it
belongs to? Or why should you be baptized in the first
place? The baptism symbolizes the death of Our Lord
Jesus Christ. He was dead for THREE DAYS AND
THREE NIGHTS and He later resurrected. This could be

demonstrated with the baptism by immersion you
underwent in the Name of the Father, and of the Son and
of the Holy Spirit. When you emerge from the water,
that symbolizes the resurrection of Our Lord Jesus
Christ. That is why when we talk about the mortification
of the flesh and indeed the 72 hours of dry fasting, we do
not mean anything but the complete mortification of
the flesh that correlates with the death and
resurrection. But when people hear of the 72 hours dry
fasting they begin to wonder how somebody could stay
for three days without food and will continue to live.
Some people even go about looking sad. Some will look
tattered and wear mournful looks. Some transform to the
point where you can confirm that they are lingering
between life and death. But I am telling you, these three
days and three nights of dry fasting clearly depict the
death and resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
That is why before every Pentecostal period, we
use the previous week to mortify the flesh by observing
the 72 hours of dry fasting. Through this process, we
have, by faith cleansed and sanctified ourselves
through the Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ. This
fasting also symbolizes the sign the people of old
wanted to know. The previous week was for the
mortification of the flesh while this week is for joy and
jubilation over the death and resurrection of Our Lord
Jesus Christ. The case of Jonah who was swallowed by the
whale and therefore lived in the whale's stomach for three
days and three nights is akin to mortification of the flesh
and rising from death.
Hence we say three things now prevail in this
kingdom: Love, Faith, and Hope. The scripture confirm
that Jonah stayed three days and three nights in the belly

of the whale. Our Lord Jesus Christ suffered a similar fate
in the bowels of the earth for three days and three nights.
Were this not so then He would not have been the one. A
similar event occurred in the life of Abraham and Isaac.
The voice of the Lord said unto Abraham,"Take ye your
child and sacrifice unto me." And to accomplish this
assignment, Abraham set forth on a journey for three
days and three nights. This indeed was the same sign.
Many of you lack this wisdom and knowledge because
you cannot research the Bible properly to know the truth
concerning the injunctions of God. When Our Lord Jesus
Christ inferred that the temple be destroyed and that He
would rebuild it in three days, the people rebuked Him,
because it took them forty six years to build it. They
interpreted the statement carnally, but He said this is quite
possible in the sight of God. This was fulfilled by the
death and resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ, during
which time He was caught up in the glory of His Father. It
is in remembrance of this that we are jubilating this week.
Jonah after staying three days and three nights in the
whale was released. Abraham also received the glory of
God when he attempted to sacrifice his son Isaac. WE
MUST THEREFORE BE PREPARED TO MORTIFY
THE FLESH FROM NOW HENCEFORTH AS WE
CONTINUE TO JUBILATE OVER THE DEATH
AND RESURRECTION OF OUR LORD JESUS
CHRIST.
This celebration is observed three times a year.
Before the celebration starts you become changed because
you have put new wine into a new wine skin.
From now onwards, before the celebration starts, take a
look at yourself in the mirror and see what you look like,
so as to be able to compare and contrast what you look

like at the end of the Pentecostal period. You will be so
rejuvenated, you will be like iron in the inner man, while
you will look like a baby physically (on the outside). With
this new life from above, you must practice holiness so as
to maintain this new divine body and status.
The death and resurrection was not within two
days and two nights as the mortification of the flesh could
not be accepted as having been two days and two nights.
The worldly people are wrong in their calculations. They
may tell you that he died on Friday, and if you continue
with this mathematics through Sunday, it would be seen
that Christ's interment was for only two days. But if you
start from Thursday and count the days and nights
according to the Jewish tradition, you will get the simple
mathematics correct.
The April (EASTER) Pentecostal does not come
about as a result of our own volition, but rather, because
we are rejoicing and jubilating about the death and
resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ. This is continuous
and so shall it remain. When this was first published in the
Herald of the New Kingdom, our official organ, the
worldly people became sad and troubled and even doubted
the authenticity of our claims, but I want to tell you that
IT IS SO UNTO THE PEOPLE WHO DO NOT LOVE
YOU, THEY WILL NOT ACCEPT ANYTHING YOU
SAY TO BE TRUE. EVEN IF THEY KNOW THAT
TO BE THE TRUTH THEY WILL CONTINUE TO
HURT YOUR FEELINGS BY UNDERRATING YOU.
This is true for the blind cannot speak good of anything. In
the same vein, another child cannot rub your back down to
the toes. Our doctrines and practices are therefore in
keeping with the established precepts of old. We do not
mortify the flesh for carnal or material wealth, but we are

doing this in commemoration of the death of and
resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ. We do not observe
it because of the need to get money, children, cars, or
houses. The duration of your call into this kingdom
notwithstanding, even if you are a day old child, you must
continue to mortify the flesh. That is why Christ told His
disciples that except one is born again, he cannot enter the
kingdom of God. Whoever is in the flesh cannot be
reborn. You must mortify the flesh so as to be in spirit.
You are witnesses to the fact that when Our Lord
Jesus Christ was still in the flesh, there was no great
assignment performed by Him. He was not known and
recognized. Nothing was known about Him. This was
however as it pleased the Father, but the moment He
became baptized and He was operating in the spirit, He
began to be seen in all planes of manifest at the same time.
People testified to seeing Him everywhere. But before His
death, He was in the flesh. It was after His death and
resurrection that He started to operate in the spirit. So
from that time up till now, and till eternity, do not seek
Him in the flesh, because you cannot see Him in the flesh.
He is in the Spirit. All the teachings that were imparted to
man, were teachings of the flesh, because He had then not
died. And that is why before He died He was ready to
remind his disciples that, "Do not go unto the Samaritans,
beware of the Samaritans, but go unto the house of Israel,
because they will accept the correct doctrines that will be
imparted to them." The worldly people also maintain that
the pouring of the Holy Spirit ended on the day of
Pentecost. Right from then, till now, the Holy Spirit has
ceased to exist. This will readily inform you that they are
in the flesh and so they cannot receive the teachings of the
Spirit.

On close observation, you will agree with me that
in times like this many children of God in this kingdom
are also encountering problems. This is because flesh and
spirit, positive and negative forces are always at each
other's throat. All these have to do with the fact that they
are always in the flesh. They have no resistance in the
process: hence some will fall, others will derail while the
business of others will not prosper. Still others will grow
weary and create room for more problems. But I tell you,
it is not so this time around, because all have received the
blessing of the Holy Spirit and that is why you have to be
in spirit always. With this gift of the Holy Spirit, no
weapon fashioned against you will prosper because you
are all the children of the Holy Spirit.
And in the days of Old what happened to those
who were disciples of John? It was said that they fasted
often and made prayers. But of the disciples of Our Lord
Jesus Christ, it was said unto the scribes and Pharisees
who murmured against the disciples of Our Lord Jesus
Christ for not fasting,"As long as the master is alive, can
you make the children of the bridechamber fast, while the
bridegroom is with them? But the days will come when
the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then
shall they fast in those days."In other words so long as
Christ was physically with them, they had no cause to
undergo mortification of the flesh, but when he shall be
taken away from them, his followers shall have the
opportunity to observe their fasting. Hence when we talk
about this exercise of fasting, whether the world likes it or
not the exercise will continue to hold. The mortification of
the flesh shall continue to stand as its chief trait.
Unfortunately, churches in their own mentality are still
operating in the flesh, unaware that time had overtaken

them despite their good intentions of worshiping God. I
tell you, you are the temple of God, you are God's house
and everything, and in times like this you must mortify the
flesh to be cleansed and pure so as to be in spirit and
attune yourself to Him. After being so busy with yourself
and having your way, this is the time of celebration, you
must be adequately prepared to receive Him and His
teachings in spirit. Our first lesson should be read.
FIRST BIBLE LESSON: MATTHEW 12:40
“For as Jonas was three days and three
nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man
be three days and three nights in the heart of the
earth.”
We are not here to criticize the world, we are not
here to condemn their doctrines and practices, because
when the ability is not given to man, man can do nothing.
God has not given them the ability, so we cannot truly
condemn or criticize what they do. To them that the ability
is given, they can perform. Hence He said when the spirit
of truth is given, he shall come. He will teach and lead
people to the accurate knowledge of truth. But now the
spirit of truth is come, imparting the correct teachings
unto man. He has also given the ability to all and sundry
to practice the teachings. IN PRACTICING, YOU
MUST FIRST BE BAPTIZED AND PARTAKE
FULLY IN THE 72 HOURS DRY-FASTING. These
are the prerequisites, and then other signs will follow.
Hence He said unto His disciples, "Go ye and
baptize all men, in the name of the Father, and of the Son,
and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things

that I have showed you, for I am with you always even
unto the end of the world."(Matthew 28:19-20).
The workings of the flesh is all death; and
elementary teachings are no more in use. That is why we
say that Our Lord Jesus Christ died and resurrected. You
all re-echo; but how can that be accepted as the truth when
you have not first mortified your flesh, you have no idea,
and you are without your senses?
Many people in prison custody and other places
of confinement are there because their flesh is warring
against the Spirit; and when the flesh takes the upper
hand, they end up in those places of confinement. Many
sick people in the hospitals are there because at all times
the flesh is at war with the Spirit.
The fact is that it is necessary for you to overcome
the flesh with the Spirit. The fact is for you to overcome
the flesh, you must receive the Spirit, and start practicing
His teachings, after which you must be baptized. As many
as are baptized in the end shall be discharged and
acquitted.
People always resist the call for baptism. People
become stubborn and they feel that by so doing they will
be asked to abandon their different churches. That is not
what I am telling you. I AM NOT ASKING YOU TO
LEAVE YOUR CHURCHES, BUT I AM TELLING
YOU THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT IS AT WORK. THIS
IS THE TIME OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. HE HAS
TAKEN OVER THE ENTIRE WORLD, AND AS
MANY AS HAVE RECEIVED THIS, NOT BY
FORSAKING YOUR DIFFERENT CHURCHES,
BUT BY PUTTING INTO PRACTICE HIS
TEACHINGS, YOU WILL FROM NOW LIVE IN
SPIRIT AND CONTINUE TO DO THAT WHICH IS

RIGHT.
HENCE THE TRUTH OF OUR LORD
JESUS CHRIST IS NOT KNOWN AGAIN IN THE
FLESH BECAUSE HE IS IN SPIRIT AND THAT IS
WHY THE MOMENT HE DIED AND
RESURRECTED, THE CARNAL SELF DIED AND
ALL THINGS MADE ANEW ARE NOW IN USE.
AND HE SAID THAT NOBODY SHOULD KNOW
HIM IN THE FLESH BUT IN SPIRIT BECAUSE
THE THINGS OF THE FLESH HAVE ALL DIED
AND PASSED AWAY.
Do not argue the scripture with anyone anymore,
because when we talk about this glory, it is the Holy
Spirit. THE GLORY OF THIS KINGDOM IS THE
HOLY SPIRIT AND THE MOMENT YOU HAVE
BAPTIZED YOU WILL SEE HIM AND YOU WILL
BE REVEALED TO HIM. IF YOU HAVE NEVER
MORTIFIED THE FLESH, THEN THE SPIRIT
CANNOT WORK. TO BE ABLE TO RECEIVE THE
HOLY SPIRIT YOU MUST MORTIFY THE FLESH.
THAT IS WHY OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST DIED
AND RESURRECTED ON THE THIRD DAY AND
ON RECEIVING THE HOLY SPIRIT, HE BECAME
A ROCK. THAT IS THE ROCK WHICH WILL
NEVER BE DESTROYED.
The reason you are found wanting is because of
the flesh. The Spirit is no more active in you, it is no more
stable. You are advised that having resurrected with Christ
after baptism, and having been cleansed, you should
forsake sin. Do not fornicate, do not commit any other sin
after you are cleansed.

WHAT WE TEACH HERE IS REALLY WHAT THE

THAT IS WHEN THE DEATH SENTENCE WAS
PASSED, AND HE WAS A DEAD MAN. INDEED,
FROM THE TIME HE WAS SENTENCED, HE WAS
ON THE WAITING LIST FOR EXECUTION.
AT 9 A.M. HE WAS EXECUTED.
RIGHT FROM 6 P.M. HE WAS IN THE
CIRCLE CAVE UP TO SIX P.M. THE FOLLOWING

THREE NIGHTS, RIGHT IN THE SEPULCHRE.
ON SUNDAY MORNING HE RESURRECTED.
THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT WE ALL HAVE TO
OBSERVE. THIS IS JUST THE TEACHING. But
what is of the flesh is all death, and we are no more in the
flesh, we are now in Spirit. That is why there is no more
Jew or Greek, we all are one as the Holy Spirit is now the
one to be worshiped.
The reason He asked the mother of the two sons
of Zebedee if they can drink of the same cup that He drank
was that the cup symbolizes the sins of the world. And
when Christ asked if they can be baptized of the same
baptism that He was baptized of, that symbolized his death
and resurrection, and it is this same way that we all have
to follow. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY. And so when
people go about researching here and there, they will
come up with nothing. But this one way that we are telling
entire world to follow -THIS CUP IS THE SIN, THIS
BAPTISM IS THE DEATH AND THE
RESURRECTION AND UNTIL ALL HAVE
RECEIVED THESE PARTS THERE IS NO WAY.
YOU WERE BOUGHT WITH A COSTLY
PRICE. FLESH AND BLOOD WAS SHED FOR YOU
SO WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT YOU ARE
WORKING WITH THE FATHER, YOU ARE ALSO
WITH THE FATHER AND YOU ARE HIS TEMPLE
HE ABIDES IN YOU AND YOU ARE ALWAYS
WITH HIM DESPITE YOUR DIFFERENT CHURCH
DOCTRINES.
BUILDING OF BETHELS, CATHEDRALS
AND THE REST ARE A WASTE OF TIME. THE
HOLY SPIRIT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH

THEM. YOU ARE HIS TEMPLE. THE SOONER
YOU DESPISED THE IDEA OF STICKING TO ANY
CHURCH, SECT, OR WHATEVER, THE BETTER
IT IS FOR YOU, FOR YOUR BODY ALONE IS HIS
PLACE OF ABODE. THAT IS WHY AT THE TIME
HE CALLED THE ATTENTION OF HIS
DISCIPLES, HAVING SEEN ALL THESE
GIGANTIC BUILDINGS THAT MEN BUILT, IN
PREPARATION FOR HIM, AND SAID,"LOOK I
TELL YOU ONE TOWER STONE SHALL NOT BE
ON TOP OF OTHER STONE, ALL THESE
BUILDINGS SHALL BE DESTROYED.” For all old
doctrines maintain and believe that God is in the church
and when you go there you will see Him. ALL YOU
HAVE TO DO IS TO MAKE YOURSELF CLEAN;
FOR YOU ARE HIS TEMPLE. Read the second lesson.
SECOND BIBLE LESSON: MATTHEW 16:21
“From that time forth began Jesus to show
unto his disciples, how he must go unto Jerusalem,
and suffer many things of the elders and chief
priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised
again the third day.”
Have you heard what the scriptures say, that
receiving this torture, in spirit and in flesh, means being
redeemed and being fully established in spirit. Today,
people are experiencing untold hardships and punishment
because of their wrong calculations. They insist and
attribute only two days and two nights to Christ's
sufferings. They have bluntly refused to accept the fact

that He died and was in the circle cave (the tomb), for
three days and three nights and that represents the
baptism, the death and the resurrection.
This is a sound doctrine; and that is why when
they continue to confuse people's mind they are punished.
For the scripture had warned that whosoever gives or
receives and teaches people the wrong side of it, and he
and other people engage in wrong practices, he will
receive greater lashes (Luke 12:48); and he will be
counted least in the kingdom; but whosoever happens to
receive the divine doctrine and has taught others and they
are following him and putting into practice the divine
doctrine, he will be counted as being greatest in kingdom
of God (Matthew 5:19). That is why the people of the
world are least; but, as practioners of the truth and
believers in His doctrine, we are the greatest. Besides we
are teaching the people to mortify the flesh, to undergo
torture of the flesh, and so as to die and resurrect with
Christ.
You cannot hear the word of God, so long as you
are in the flesh, for the flesh can never receive the word of
God and can never tune up to be in spirit. BUT WHEN
YOU ARE IN SPIRIT YOU WILL HEAR THE
WORD OF GOD, YOU WILL SPEAK THE WORD
OF GOD, AND YOU WILL RECEIVE THE WORD
OF GOD. THE WORD OF GOD IS MEAT AND
FOOD OF THE SPIRIT.
Flesh and blood cannot enter into the kingdom of
God (2 Cor 5:16). Flesh and blood cannot practice the
word of God and can never hear the word of God. Flesh
and blood has nothing to do with the word of God, the
kingdom of God. The flesh can only share in the kingdom
of God when it hears the word of God and practices it and

then it mortifies the flesh. The mortified flesh then
becomes the Spirit.
We have to kill the flesh and strive to be in spirit
because it is in the spirit that we can receive the word of
God. Immediately you mortify the flesh, and dwell in the
spirit, you will never decay, you will not be your old self
and if your old self will want to compete with the new
self, you will know that there is a great demarcation. You
will experience hard times and problems if you attempt to
go back to the flesh, having been fully established in
Spirit.
THE NEW NAME OF THIS KINGDOM IS
THE WORD OF GOD, AND THE NAME YOU CAN
GIVE HER IS THE WORD OF GOD. IN OUR
MIDST THERE IS THE WORD OF GOD. THE
APPAREL WE PUT ON IS THE WORD OF GOD,
OUR LIVES ARE IN THE WORD OF GOD. WE
HAVE NO OTHER COMMITMENTS THAN TO
RECEIVE THE WORD OF GOD. AS WE ARE NOW
GATHERED HERE WE ARE ONLY GATHERING
FOR AN OVER HAULING, TO BE CHANGED AND
TO CAST AWAY THE OLD BODY AND TO
RECEIVE THE WORD OF GOD WHICH IS THE
NEW BODY.
In 1960, at 26 Mbukpa crescent, I warned the
whole world not to medicate, not to bother themselves
about any material wealth. People are still bothering
themselves about material wealth and they are still
medicating. This is why they cannot maintain the Spirit
and their problems continue to multiply more and
more.THE WORD OF GOD IS SPIRIT, AND THAT
IS WHY WHEN YOU RECEIVE THIS WORD OF
GOD, WHICH IS SPIRIT, YOU WILL NEVER

DECAY, AND YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY
PROBLEM. WHEN YOU ARE IN SPIRIT YOU
WILL NEVER BE BECOME ILL, YOU WILL
NEVER BE THIRSTY, YOU WILL NEVER LACK,
YOU WILL NEVER SUFFER. BUT PROBLEMS
ARISE WHEN YOU REJECT THE WORD OF GOD
AND PUT ON THE OLD BODY. THE MOMENT
YOU PUT ON THE NEW BODY WHICH IS THE
WORD OF GOD, WHICH IS THE SPIRIT, IT WILL
TAKE AWAY ALL YOUR PROBLEMS.
Have you heard what the scripture says? "I will
go to Jerusalem, I will be tortured, tormented, and I
will be killed but after three days I shall be
resurrected?" Why do you follow after Him? It is
because you are learning after Him. You and him are one.
You have accepted to practice the same words and so do
not doubt why and when this thing should consummate,
because everything has been consummated already, and so
shall it be till eternity. All the words of God which you
receive, none shall go unfulfilled, and those which have
not been fulfilled will be fulfilled soon.
We are all gathered in a time like this to
commemorate the same period, but some people view it as
a parable. To them what they read in the bible is a parable.
It is not so. The washing of the feet, the watch and pray,
the last supper, all commemorate the season and all that
we do are exactly what was done and what shall continue
to be done.
Recall what he said unto them,"My departure is
good for you, for if I do not depart, the spirit of truth
shall not come but if I depart the spirit will come.” And
then the departure, which became the death and being in
spirit did come to pass. All these times you were fasting

with out the endowment of the Holy Spirit. Without His
departure, could you have received the Holy Spirit?
And that is why it is also recorded in the same
portion that when the one who had been vested with the
dirty spirit was exorcised and it had entered into the
desert, and upon roaming the desert without finding a
resting place, it did, upon coming back to visit where it
had dwelt, discover it properly groomed, it would go back
and bring with it seven more dirty and stronger demonic
spirits. They will all come and make their abode in the
same person. And then the soul of that person will become
worse than the former state. This accounts for why you
just have to mortify the flesh and allow yourself to die and
be resurrected. You are in the flesh if you are not reborn
and so which ever evil spirit is in you is not gone. It is
waiting for the change to be effected, and it will go and
bring more powerful and dirty demons to come and abide
in you. Your state will become worse, no matter what you
want to do, there will be no changes because you are not
born again.
We have the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit
who is at work here in the kingdom. You have this same
spirit endowed on you and wherever you go, this same
Spirit is working. If you do not come here to receive this
sound doctrine and be changed, how will you have the
Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit? Brethren I would not
be tedious with you. Our golden text should now be read.
GOLDEN TEXT: JOHN 2:19-20
“Jesus answered and said unto them,
Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it
up. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this

temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three
days?"
Have you heard what the scriptures tell you and
me that the people of old hated these words? They did not
understand these words because all the words spoken by
Our Lord Jesus Christ were purely spiritual but the Jews
understood Him carnally.
He had to warn them that when the spirit of truth
shall come, He shall be the one to teach and lead all men
and even them also to the accurate knowledge of the
truth. And that is why when He talks about demolishing
the temple, to be rebuilt after three days, He did not refer
to the flashy buildings that you see around you. These
buildings have been there. He was referring to Himself
that when the body will be destroyed, it would take three
days for Him to rise up again to remain in spirit. That is
why the flashy houses you build and other material
things you acquire mean nothing. This not what we are
referring to, we are talking about the spiritual body. That
body, your own body, is that temple and that is why we
continue to tell you that when you are in spirit, you will
forsake all the things you are asked not to do. When you
forsake eating of meat and you refrain from fornication
and adultery and all sinfulness, you will be completely
fortified and you will receive spiritual gifts.
And that is why when Adam and Eve, having
seen their fault began to plead for leniency and clemency,
but he said unto them, as a consolation, I shall come back
but the sign of my coming shall be observed in a heap of
Myrrh, Gold and Frankinsence. Also I shall be tortured,
I shall be persecuted. The sword shall be thrust into my
side and all those things shall mark the sign of my return,

and there and then, will I come unto you and be with you.
Well, those were the signs. That is why after he had
resurrected and seen lavishly, He proclaimed that,"I and
my Father are one," and whosoever shall mortify the
flesh and allow himself to be in spirit will also stand the
chances of saying,"I and my Father are one." This is
because the entire world put together are one.
There shall be no difference in anything, no color
dichotomy, no currency dichotomy, every person shall be
one. But it beats my imagination when I tell you that the
entire world shall be one and you begin to doubt.Well, you
are always ignorant of this fact or knowledge as a result of
your stubbornness, and insubordination. Many inhabitants
of the world have not received baptism though it is the
criteria. For that which was nailed upon the cross was
not Jesus per se, but the flesh. And the moment He was
nailed, He had nothing to do with the flesh, for He lived
and operated in the spirit.
ANY BROTHERHOOD CHILD WHO
ACCEPTS TO BE IN SPIRIT SHOULD LISTEN TO
THESE SPIRITUAL WARNING: DO NOT TELL
LIES, DO NOT EAT MEAT AND FISH, DO NOT
FORNICATE, YOU HAVE TO GO ON MINISTRY,
PAY YOUR TITHES, BE IN SPIRIT AND RECEIVE
THE SPIRIT, ALLOW THE SPIRIT TO LEAD AND
GUIDE YOU. DO NOT DISCRIMINATE AND DO
NOT SOW SEEDS OF DISCORD, DO NOT CAUSE
TROUBLE, DO NOT FIGHT. THE MOMENT YOU
RECEIVE THIS YOU ARE IN SPIRIT AND THAT IS
THE END OF IT AND IF IT IS THE END OF IT,
YOU REALIZE THAT SPIRIT, BEING THE
FATHER, IS WITH YOU, HE TALKS WITH YOU,
HE DIRECTS AND ADVISES YOU.

 Whoever sins becomes a slave to sin. If you go
about stealing that stealing will show on you. You will
find out that you are not in the spirit. Whatever sin you
commit will manifest on you. That is why no matter what
you do when you fall sick, you will probably go like
that,(i.e., continue relentlessly in your affliction) for there
will be no necromancer, no juju priest or native or medical
doctor who will provide a solution to your problem
because you are completely in the flesh and those sins you
have committed are telling on you.
Right from the time he resurrected He was in the
Spirit. He had nothing to do with the flesh. He was not a
slave to the flesh and as many of us who have resurrected
alongside with Him must reason with Him. Then we shall
be forgiven all our sins. We should separate ourselves
from all manners of sins and be one with Him.
If you are in the flesh, you will not see Him, but if
you are in the spirit,* WHEN YOU SIN, YOU SHOULD
ALWAYS REPENT AND THUS CONFESS YOUR
SINS, CELEBRATE LOVE FEAST, GO ON
MINISTRY, LAMENT OVER YOU SINS AND IN
THE END HE WILL DECLARE YOU FREE AND
ALL YOUR PROBLEMS WILL BE ALLEVIATED.
He is the leader, He is the teacher, He is the
director, and He is the one admonishing the entire world.
It is now incumbent on everyone of us to surrender
ourselves unto Him. The entire world must surrender unto
Him. The entire world must surrender to Him because He WHAT IS CROSS?
alone teaches, He alone directs, and He also leads the
entire world. Abraham did not have this knowledge, and
Moses did not have his knowledge.

"For though I be free from all men, yet have I

"Anybody who wants to follow me but is unwilling to
take up the Cross after me cannot be my follower".
CHRIST. (Luke 14:27)
Brethren, our Gospel this afternoon is about the
"Cross." After that celebrated Gospel on: "What is
Brotherhood," during the Pentecostal Convention, many
had thought that the Gospel on Cross and Star would
follow. But since my Father did not give the signal
throughout the Convention that I should do so, I could not
do anything more than to allow His will to prevail. This
afternoon Brethren, it is His pleasure to give the signal
that I continue. Therefore, I shall be failing in my duty as
His mouth-piece, if I fail to give you the Gospel on
"Cross" today.
Does Cross Mean Alms Giving, Etc?
Some think that to give alms means carrying the
Cross. Others think that to heal the sick by praying means

carrying the Cross. Many others think that to pray for
yourself three times a day means carrying the Cross. Yet
another class of people think that to pay Tithe, Freewill
Offering and Charity means carrying the Cross. Cross has
been made into different forms. Some hang it around their
necks; some hang it on their doors. Do all these make up
the Cross that Christ says we should carry?
We all know that Christ fell down with the Cross as
he was carrying it to Calvary. Does carrying the Cross
then mean that piece of wood that he carried? Without the
Cross the world could not have been saved. The Cross is
light, and it is also heavy. For the world to be in perfect
peace, each of us should agree to carry the Cross. By what
means does one convert a smoker, a snuffer, a fornicator,
a thief, a murderer, a back-biter, or a liar? It is by
carrying the Cross. If we all should decide today to take
up the Cross, the sins of the world would vanish
immediately.
The next question then is what is the Cross? Is it
vision and prophecy, building of houses for people, giving
food to people, buying dresses for people? If Jesus had
only healed and prophesied without carrying the Cross His
work could have come to nothing.
It Means Bearing One Another's Burden
If you hire bicycles for Brethren going on ministry
work so as to make their job less difficult you are not
carrying the Cross. Cross is not huge as you might have
imagined. It is very small, it is light but it is very heavy.
What is the Cross? Cross means bearing another man's
burden without complaining; tolerating all kinds of
sinners, the murderers, the thieves, the back-biters etc.
If you stand firm with Christ without fighting

back your accusers whenever you are accused falsely
or being spat upon or jeered at, disgraced and insulted
without just cause; if you are informed that someone
has planned to shoot you and you fail to run away
when he aims at you to shoot, then you are carrying the
Cross. To carry the Cross does not cost anything. To be
able to carry the Cross you must resign yourself
completely to God. You must be loving, humble. You
must esteem another man better than yourself. You
must not be envious. If Jesus did not possess these
qualities He could not have carried the Cross.
If you move with a cunning man without hurting
his feelings for being tricky and crafty; if you can stay
with a notorious liar very happily without stirring up
his anger when he tells you a lie; when one persecutes
you falsely and seeks to destroy your life by all means
yet you tolerate him whole-heartedly you are carrying
the real Cross.
The Turning Point in Saul's Life
Saul was the greatest enemy of Christ. He traveled
from place to place intimidating the Christians. He took
permission from the high priest to go from Church to
Church to arrest, imprison and to kill Christ's followers.
He witnessed the stoning to death of Stephen, and took
custody of his garments. But on that fateful day on his
way to Damascus, Christ knocked him cold on the ground.
He fell flat on his face, and could not move an inch when
he heard a voice saying: "Saul, Saul, why persecutest
thou me?"(Acts 9:4) He answered, "Who art thou,
Lord." And the voice said, "I am Jesus whom thou
persecutest." He trembled and asked Our Lord Jesus
what He would want him do. The Lord told him to arise

and go into the city. There he would be told what to do.
Those who traveled with him to Damascus were shocked
for hearing only a voice without seeing anybody. Saul
rose from the ground, a completely blind man. He was led
by hand into the city of Damascus.
There Jesus told one Ananias, a disciple, to go into
the street called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas
for one called Saul of Tarsus. But Ananias told Jesus that
Saul had been very much against Christ, especially his
Saints. Ananias told Our Lord Jesus that Saul had
authority from the Chief priest to have all those who
called on the name of Jesus bound. What did Jesus tell
Ananias? He told him to go his way for He had chosen
Saul as a vessel unto Himself to bear His name before
the Gentiles and Kings and the children of Israel. If
Saul had seen Jesus face to face he could have killed Him
if it were possible. Jesus caught him red-handed, and did
not kill him but rather made him a vessel unto Himself.
Coming to One's Wit's End
When you stay with a wicked person, allow him to
finish playing his wickedness because if you stop him
when he had not yet finished it, you are blocking his
salvation. That cunning man who tricks you daily must be
allowed to continue in his profession until he comes to his
wit's end. That liar who lies to you everyday must not be
forced to stop lying. (Matt 5:39). If he does not stop
lying by himself how can he be saved? You have to
tolerate them all. This is what is meant by carrying the
Cross.
If you can rejoice in tribulation and humiliation, if
you can tolerate abuses from people, be they young or old,
then you are carrying the Cross. When people have

bargained to get you involved into any trouble yet you
continue to treat each of them as your friend; rendering to
them any necessary help that each may demand; continue
to bring them nearer and nearer to yourself; this is Cross
bearing. Though you may know that the more you go near,
the more death stares at you but on the other hand you are
giving them life. Finally the power of life in you will kill
the evil ways in them and you have given them life. This
is carrying of the Cross.
If you cannot carry the Cross you cannot convert
an evil doer. If you get annoyed with him you have failed
in your duty as a Cross bearer. It requires determination
and endurance without complaining. As a Cross
bearer, you must always be prepared for the worst, all
in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
First Bible Lesson: 1 Corinthians 4:12
"And labour, working with our own hands:
being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer
it:"
When you are accused falsely and you bless such a
person; when one assassinates your character and you
bless him; when one hates you without reason, and you
bless him; when you do not complain for being painted
black; when you go on your knees to ask God to
forgive your enemies whole-heartedly, you are
carrying the Cross. When someone wrongs you, and
you see that because of his pride you may fall apart,
and instead of keeping your distance from him, you
rather go to him and tell him that you have offended

him, and ask for forgiveness, you are carrying the
Cross of Christ. You can now understand what the Cross
means. Without this kind of Cross you cannot convert a
single soul. This is the Cross I am asked to preach to you
about. When you smile at every persecution, smile at
false accusations; when you continue to do good in the
midst of strong temptations; when you are hated because
of the good things you have done, yet you are not
discouraged, you are carrying the Cross.
The Sentence
If you build a house for a man, and instead of him
being appreciative of it he turns round to abuse you, if you
repay him in the same disgraceful way you have willingly
dropped your Cross. If you drive him away from the house
your sin becomes greater than his. If you give out your
house for rent, and because your tenant does not pay his
rent, you evict him from the house you have not even
lifted up the Cross.
If you see a thief in your house, and you shout ‘thief,
thief,’ without allowing him to achieve his objective, you
are not carrying the Cross. You may say that this is
humanly impossible. But I tell you that it is humanly
possible. This is the only way you can carry the Cross.
When you have him arrested and imprisoned have you
stopped him from stealing? This method in the end will
make him a hardened criminal. You have not changed
him. But when you allow him to steal what he wants, he
will be in peace, and you also will be in peace. Supposing
by shouting thief, thief he cuts off your head or have you
completely maimed; who is at a loss? By simply asking
him to steal what he wants you have set his mind thinking;
much more when you tell him that you are prepared to

help him carry the stolen load out he may come to his
senses, and may become be ashamed of himself; he may
even confess to you why he has come to steal; he may
become converted because you have not wounded his
pride. From that simple but unbelievable sentence,"Steal
what you want to steal," you have done the greatest work
in the sight of God.
Argument That Will Not Help
If somebody comes to you with one naira and tells
you that it is only thirty kobo, do not start any argument
with him. Agree that it is as he or she says. You do not
gain anything through argument. In the end you will still
be wiser. Because after sometime he would get to his wit's
end. It is there that he will know that he has been making a
fool of himself.
If someone comes to tell you that he has refrained
from all manner of sins, don't ask him any question, just
agree, for sooner or later you will know whether he has
refrained from sin or not, without any loss of face. Do not
say that you are good when you are not. This may
make your Cross burdensome. Do not look for life;
you may lose it. Allow yourself to be persecuted,
accused falsely or disgraced. The more you suffer
these things the more you see the glory of God in you.
If Abraham did not tell the king that Sarah was his
sister, God could not have revealed the relationship
between Abraham and Sarah to the king. (Gen 12:10-20).
If we agree to be cheated, the glory of God will certainly
be manifested in us. Preaching alone does not change a
man to live a Christian life. The carrying of the Cross
is the shortest means of converting a soul. If we agree to
bear one another's evil way; if we are convinced that the

fall of our brother is ours, we all will carry the Cross
without looking back. The work will be made lighter.
Until the Cross which is fire burns away the sins in us no
one will know.
Second Bible Lesson: 2 Corinthians 4:10
"Always bearing about in the body the dying of
the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be
made manifest in our body."
Why Not Defend Yourself, Said Pilate
Pilate said to Jesus, “Have you nothing to say in
defense against the accusation heaped on you?” Jesus did
not do anything more than to take up the Cross, and resign
Himself completely to Providence. This put an end to the
unnecessary struggle to save His life. When you witness
false accusations, false persecutions and disgrace, do not
apply worldly wisdom. Because by struggling to save
your life, you may lose it.
It requires complete resignation to God; for by
counting your life as lost, you will regain it. That is God's
wonderful way. Your faith in carrying the Cross will
reveal the Christ in you to your persecutors and
false-accusers. If you can endure false allegations and put
up a bright countenance both within and without, don't
you think people will call you Jesus? There is no other
Cross apart from enduring evil, tolerating fornicators,
adulterers, back-biters, murderers; thieves etc., and
you have won their souls. Though it is not a simple
thing to do carnally, but with complete resignation to
God you have nothing to worry about. You gain
nothing by driving them away. They gain nothing by

being separated from you. You cannot stay alone; for a
tree cannot make a forest; but you gain everything by
accommodating them. Put on the life of Jesus Christ and
you can do everything you want to do.
Judas Was Reported To Jesus
What kind of Cross are you carrying when you flare
up at the slightest provocation? When Peter, James and
John told Jesus that Judas Iscariot was keeping the harlots
happy with the money from their common purse, Jesus did
not flare up. Before he was made the treasurer, Christ had
known him well because Jesus had the power of reading
the heart of all human beings. If Jesus had decided on any
line of action against Judas, He, Jesus, would have fallen.
The Cross could have meant nothing to Him. If He had
thought of entrusting their purse into the care of another
disciple, all His work could have come to an end. In
whichever way you may look at the carrying of Cross,
it means the same thing, i.e. the determination and the
endurance to tolerate all kinds of people. How many
people in the world today can carry the Cross? If we
cannot carry the Cross how can we promote the work of
God?
Our Lord Jesus knew the plan of Judas before Judas
decided to betray Him. (Matt 26:21/ Mark 14:18/ Luke
22:21). To prove Himself right He told His disciples that
one of them would betray Him. If it were you, you would
have sought for a way to kill Judas. But for the sake of
the Cross, Jesus allowed Judas to accomplish his aim.
When you see a thief coming to steal your clothes
and you allow him to steal them, you are carrying the
Cross. If you chase him out, you are obstructing the work
of God. Let us carry the Cross; for by carrying the Cross

the world will be in peace.
Golden Text: 1 Corinthians 9:19
"For though I be free from all men, yet have I
made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the
more."
Be Servants Unto Others
The main reason why we should make ourselves
servants unto people is so that we may draw them away
from their sinful ways. When we have done this we have
therefore drawn them nearer unto ourselves. Even though
we are not under any suffering, we must endure other
people's sinful ways so that they may be saved.
You can now see why we accommodate all kinds of
people, even though they may be false accusers, false
persecutors. Unless we allow the wicked man to torment
us for righteousness' sake we cannot be true Cross bearers.
If Christ did not allow Himself to be tortured there could
have been no salvation to mankind, and the world would
have been lost. Let deceivers go on deceiving us. Let false
accusers continue to accuse us. Let us suffer afflictions
and tribulations. Let rogues continue to steal our things.
(Rev 22:11).
Let not our Spirit succumb to the evil planning of
this world. Let us not be tired because the craftiness of our
neighbors we have helped so much. Let us agree without
complaining when they show us three things instead of
five things, for in the end, we will be blessed, they will
be saved, and the glory goes to our Loving Father.
Vultures abound where you find corpses; equally
do the birds of the air muster strong where ripe palm fruits

are found. Where you find foolish men there too will you
find wise men. Let us for the sake of our brethren who
have wandered away from this truth agree to tolerate them
by carrying the Cross at all cost.
Those who have ears to hear let them hear. May
the Lord bless the preaching of His Holy Word. Amen!

THE ESSENCE OF FASTING
AND PRAYING

"And Jesus said unto them, Because of your
unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as
a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this
mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it
shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto
you.
Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and
fasting."
For those who query how somebody can live
without eating enough food, how did John the Baptist
live? Orthodox churches claim that John Baptist ate
locusts and honey as food. One is therefore left to wonder
how possible it was for him to get enough of that species
of grasshopper to feed on.
Brethren, the texts read to you form the theme of
our sermon. The golden text reveals the extent the
Bible has been tampered with. And if God, the Father,
had not come, the entire world would have been led
astray by now.
You heard what our Lord Jesus Christ said, that he
who has a little faith even as the mustard seed shall be
able to command a mountain to move from one place to
another.(Matt 17:20). But the Lord added a clause to the
effect that no one can perform the above feat except
through prayer and fasting. (Matt 17:21). No one can

acquire any power, no matter how little, unless through
prayer and fasting. There are many so-called big men and
women in Brotherhood who hardly stay from 6:00 a.m. to
10.00 a.m. without eating. The majority of members have
never participated in the weekly Thursday fasting that is
observed from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Fasting and prayer are the keys to this Kingdom.
Why orthodox churches have no power, and they
do not even believe that any power exists now is that they
do not fast and pray. All their members, both black and
white live to eat like the pigs. Sometime ago, a white man
came from Canada to see the Holy Father and requested to
know if he would be admitted into Brotherhood after
complying with a few of the instructions and injunctions
obtainable here. Another white professor, did tell the
Father, sometime ago, that in their place, they are
selective about the type of gospel they practice. And the
Father told him that there was no room for such practice
here. How, and with what would you mortify the flesh
with all its lusts and desires? Is it with a machete, a club,
a spear, or a gun, or through praying and fasting? Many
people claim, though ignorantly, that only criminals and
woeful sinners pray frequently. How can you raise the
dead, heal the sick, make the lame walk, cause rain to fall
or attract the Holy Spirit to yourself, if you cannot fast and
pray? If you are easily infuriated and you want God to
remove such a thing from you, how will that be possible
when you cannot fast and pray? How do you think the
serious court case you have can be squashed when you
cannot fast and pray? If you are unemployed, how could
you be employed when you cannot fast and pray. How
can you conquer your enemy or defeat your rival when

you can neither fast nor pray? There is no way you can
serve God except you fast and pray.
To claim that you have no money with which to
serve God and that you cannot speak the English language
fluently to enable you to communicate, are flimsy
excuses. Fasting and prayer are not bought with money or
exercised through the ability to speak the English
language. Even satan does not relent in his efforts to fast
and pray. The lessons I give to you free are greater than
those given to you for a fee in the secret and mystical
societies.
Everybody knows that fasting and prayer serve
as the key to this Kingdom. If you cannot fast and pray,
you cannot achieve anything. Even if you can read and
recite the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, it will serve
no useful purpose.And there is no way you can refrain
from drunkenness and fornication except you fast and
pray. Therefore brethren, there is no secret power in this
Kingdom except fasting and prayer.If you are a fornicator,
a drunkard, an idolater, a smoker, or one who commits
every type of sin, once you fast and pray, you shall be free
of sins.
Many of you admit to the fact that there is plenty
of power in the prayer house. This is because the moment
you enter a prayer house for any purpose, the first thing is
for prayers to be offered you. Then you will be asked to
fast as many days and times as possible, until your
problem is solved. When your problem is solved, you will
go back to the head of the prayer house with some money
and materials as gifts for solving the problem. By so
doing, you make yourself a fool because you would have
had the same result if you had fasted and prayed in your
house. Apart from the Holy Father, there is no other

person who can pray over you and have your problems
solved. And I have never asked you to hold even a feast.
But this is not the case with other prayer houses.
Since Our Lord Jesus Christ has said that when
the Comforter shall come He will lead you to the accurate
knowledge of truth, I have left everything bare before you.
Many people refuse to observe fasting for very flimsy
excuses that they are sick with diabetes, high blood
pressure, anemia, etc. Realize now that whatever is
making you sick, the moment you fast and pray the
sickness disappears. Also, if you should go to any prayer
house, or healing home, and you are not asked to fast and
pray, you should leave the place immediately. Wherever
you go to and you are told to fast and pray do it because
once you obey, your problem will be solved.
Another important thing besides fasting and
prayer is the LOVE FEAST. If you go to a place and
you are not asked to organize some feast, leave such a
place. The organization of feast is equivalent to offering
sacrifice unto God. I am not going to treat feast today
anyway. The day's topic is fasting and prayer, because
many of you owe your existence to food. My injunction
that throughout each Pentecostal Period all members
should observe a daily six-to-six fasting is never obeyed.
You all eat so indiscriminately that you develop
potbellies. That explains why many of you who come
here hardly listen to the gospel; because once you sit
down, just within a few minutes you fall asleep.
Has the Scripture not said that belly was made for
food and food for the belly, but both of them shall be
destroyed? (1 Cor 6:13). You call yourself a disciple of

Our Lord Jesus Christ but you cannot mortify the flesh
with its lusts and affections? I know that these words
sound foolish in your ears. You should take a cue from
Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of man, Son of God and
God Himself who after baptism, was led into the
wilderness by the Holy Spirit, and for 40 days and nights,
(Luke 4:2), He neither ate food not drank water. Do you
now discover the source of His power? Many people
claim that the Lord had fasted for the benefit of
everybody. That reasoning is wrong. Christ fasted for
Himself and did that as an example to His followers.
He was merely showing us the way into this Kingdom.
I know that despite this gospel today, the children
of perdition will still insist on abstaining from fasting and
also point at certain people who have fasted and prayed
and yet have no power. Let it be known to you that the
fasting observed by Our Lord Jesus Christ, and which
is an example unto all Christians, is quite different
from what the orthodox churches do. In the latter
group, they will eat light food like fruits, tea, bread, etc. If
they should not eat at all, their fast normally starts from
6.00 a.m. to 9.00 or 10.00 of the same morning. At the
end of it, you will see them panting and gulping food
hopelessly. Many people, even in Brotherhood wake up
as early as 5.00 a.m. and eat seriously, enough to tide
them over the period of the 6.00 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday
fasting. Those things do not bring glory to God, and you
deceive nobody but yourself.
Those in Brotherhood who cannot pray are
incapable of healing even an ant. This is because they do
not fast and pray, and so they lack the power of God in
them.If you are in Brotherhood and fail to realize that
fasting and prayer are the way to this Kingdom and

the source of power, know that you live in the flesh and
have a long way to go. Fasting is not like the payment of
tithe which lends itself to the notice of the third party. It is
something that exists in your mind and is known only to
God. God is not in Bethlehem, or Galilee, or Jerusalem.
He is closer to you than your tongue is to the teeth. But
you can feel His presence and closeness only through
fasting and prayer. Once you fast and pray you have all
your requests granted.
Fasting means self-denial and restraint from
snuffing, smoking, fornication, sexual intimacy,
drinking, etc. While fasting, you also have to refrain
from quarrelling, anger, evil communication, back-
biting and the rest of the vices. It is a total and
complete surrender of one's self to God. The last
enemy to be defeated is food. It is also the greatest
enemy of the Holy Spirit. For those of you who wonder
how somebody can live without eating enough food, how
did John the Baptist live? Orthodox churches claim that
John the Baptist ate locusts and honey as food. One is
therefore left to wonder how possible it was for John to
have got enough of that type of species of grasshopper to
feed on. But, recently, those who came back from
Jerusalem say John ate honey and a species of herb
called locust bean. That was the reason Christ said that
never has there been a being born of a woman who is
greater than John the Baptist except the one who is the
least in the Kingdom of heaven.(Luke 7:28). Here, the
Lord was invariably referring to Himself.
The Pharisees fasted twice a week, but theirs was
different from that of John the Baptist. You do not fast
only of food but also of quarrelling, of fighting, of back-
biting, and all that. There is no point claiming to be

fasting while you are harbouring people in mind and
committing various vices. It were better you never fasted
if your heart is not pure.
The assignment of John the Baptist was not to
preach the gospel of repentance or to heal the sick. John's
duty was to reveal the coming of the Lord to the
universe and to make His path straight. That was why
he did not eat any other type of food except that
prescribed by God, so that he will be able to recognize
the Lord and hail him. Without John the Baptist, the
Lord would have come, toured the whole world, and
nobody would have recognized Him. Now, people eat
anything and end up attracting various sicknesses to
themselves. John the Baptist ate only honey and locusts
and was never reported sick for even one minute. Once
you begin to eat very little, even a grain of corn only, you
will have no problem.
Initially, John, Peter, James and others were
the disciples of John the Baptist and they worked
together to make straight the path of the Lord through
fasting and praying. Therefore when you fast and pray
you are purifying yourself for the entry of the Holy
Spirit.
This generation is the luckiest of all to have this
wisdom of truth. You have to fast and pray wherever you
are. If you do that you will have no problem at all because
He has called us into the Kingdom free. Let the first
lesson be read.

 Brethren, tell me how one can crucify the flesh
with the affections and lust without fasting and praying?
You can compare it to the case of the bed-bug that has
learnt to adapt to any kind of situation (temperature)
whether hot or cold. That is why when you pour hot water
on bed-bugs they will bulge up and be motionless as
though they are dead. Once the cool air touches them
again they become revived and active. The only way to
eliminate bedbugs is to starve them by not making use of
whatever thing they live and thrive in. Such include
personal items like as bed, pillow, chair, mat, etc. The
moment they do not have food, that is blood to suck, they
will die.
The inhabitants of the world accept that there
is power in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, but the
point of dispute is its source. That is what they do not
know. Is the source of power not laid bare before you,
and indeed the whole world?
The same thing is applicable to the spirit of
sinfulness that dwells in man. Once you starve those
spirits of fornication, adultery, greediness and lust for
mundane things, you will have the Spirit of God revived
in you. If other devilish spirits realize that no attention is
paid to them any more they will die off and vacate the
place of abode (your body), for God to come and dwell in.
That is the work of fasting and praying.
Human beings feel that when they are sick and
they take medicine, the drugs will cure them. This is not
so. The drugs would rather empower the sickness. If you
have the spirit of drunkenness in you, as you continue to
drink, the more you sustain the spirit of drunkenness. But
once you refrain from drinking, divorce your mind and
self of all vices and concentrate on fasting and praying,

you will have the evil spirit expelled from you and you
will become a new person entirely. If you commit any
sin and you persist in the sin how will the sin(s) be
removed from you? It is only when you fast and pray
to God that He will remove the sin(s) from you.
We ought not to fast everyday. But daily fasting
becomes desirable because we offend God every time of
the day. Whenever you are angry, it means the evil
spirit has gained entry into you. And if you do not
remove it (immediately) through fasting and praying it
will hasten to take dominion over you. Whenever you
tell lies you have extended an invitation to the evil spirit
into you. And thereafter if you do not fast and pray it
dominates your body. Whenever you drink, if you do not
follow it up by fasting and praying to drain yourself of the
evil spirit, you only put yourself into trouble. Each time
you are intimate with your wife and do not fast and
pray thereafter, you are in the soup.
You can see that God does not judge His children,
but when He does, He only chastises them so that they
would not be condemned along with the world.(1 Cor
11:32). If we care to search ourselves to know that we
offend God every minute of the day, we would not be
disturbed each time we hear about fasting or when we are
told to observe fasting. The body, just like other
machines, needs servicing in order to function properly.
That is why you have to fast and pray as frequently as you
commit sins.
Many people complain that they cannot see
visions, others say they cannot remember their dreams,
cannot pray, are unable to sing and preach. The reason is
that they do not fast and pray. You also complain of being
taken over by sins because you make no effort to fast and

pray.
Has the Lord not said that when the evil spirit
departs a man it goes and wonders in the deserts? And if
it finds no dwelling place, it comes back to its former
place of abode with seven more devilish spirits.(Luke
11:26). And the state of such a person is said to become
worse than before.
You should now realize that the key to this
Kingdom is fasting and prayers. Whatever thing you
want to achieve, Our Lord Jesus Christ has said you can
achieve it through fasting and prayers.
Whoever tells you he acquired his power without
fasting and praying is a great liar. Somebody who wants
to acquire devilish powers does so through fasting and
prayer. The children of God who want to obtain the spirit
of God also have to fast and pray. What the people of the
world do when they need anything from God is to fast and
pray. Though they normally go back to their old ways,
the moment they obtain what they want.
All powers come from the same source, God,
who is the owner of them all. The difference lies in the
method by which this power is applied. You may find
somebody in Brotherhood who is so dedicated in fasting,
praying, ministry work, etc., and you hastily conclude that
he is so godly. But, you may not know that he has only
hidden his intent. The moment the person receives what he
desires from God he is gone.If you happen to see him
some other day and ask him why he has been so scarce in
the fold, he will tell you that he is so pressed that he has
no time. That of course is not true. He has obtained what
he wanted and so has left. If he happens to encounter
another problem you will see him walk stealthily back
again into Brotherhood.

The various secret societies, clubs, soothsayers,
juju priests and the rest of the people do fast seriously and
pray when they want anything from God after which they
fast no more. But the children of Brotherhood fast and
pray in order to have the Holy Spirit. Ours is different
from the fasting observed by other persons and
organizations for the purpose of achieving selfish ends. It
is a tradition in Brotherhood to fast and pray for the
purpose of spiritual revival. It is for that reason the Lord
has said that all those who are His, have crucified the
flesh with its affections and lusts. You should not wait
until the termly general dry-fasting is observed before
you fast. Fast and pray constantly if you want to enter
into this Kingdom. The Thursday fasting is just to
commemorate the crucifixion and death of our Lord
Jesus Christ. But that does not prevent you from
observing your own 6 to 6, or even dry fasting, if you
want God to dwell in you.
Fasting is something very difficult and uncommon
with the rich. If someone eats very little the person
becomes spiritually very active and strong and is hardly
sick; in fact he becomes young and has no problem.
Do you know that it is food that kills the spirit
in you? The more you fast and pray the more you will
be filled with the Holy Spirit, and power of God. I am
taking my time to train you so that you will achieve this
feat gradually. Within a short time you should be able to
start eating very little food or nothing at all through the
frequent observance of the daily and dry fasting. It is this
Holy Spirit and the power of God which are achievable
through the mortification of the flesh that I will use to
change all of you; including the entire world. Let the
second lesson be read, so you will realize that I conduct

my sooth-saying with a living tortoise.
Second Bible Lesson: Acts 13:2
"As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted,
the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and
Saul for the work whereunto I have called them."
Brethren, have you heard that? Your brethren
outside say there is no more fasting because the Lord had
done it on their behalf. But these people fail to realize
that the death of Our Lord Jesus Christ marked the
beginning of intensive fasting and prayer. His death
was to make us clean and set us free from evil, so that
when we fast the Lord will dwell in us and fill us with
the Holy Spirit. That is the reason the Scripture has
said that flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom
of God.(1 Cor 15:50).
I am very selective of the instructions I ask you to
carry out. Most of them, you are very unripe and
incapable to do. For instance, all the angels around the
Holy Father go on their knees with their faces
downwards. That is something the various pains in your
knees, waist, ankles and indeed all over your body and
some other afflictions cannot permit you to do. I give you
such food as you will be able to eat. No angel talks, or
moves in and out as you do. This is because you allow the
flesh to take dominion over you by your refusal to fast and
pray.
The Crusaders in Brotherhood fast and pray each
time they have a task to perform. Another group, the
Vegetarians undertake fasting daily, and they have
gone very far. There are some brethren also who eat

only once a day, and are never hungry. They form the
nucleus of the vegetarian group. The less you eat, the
less problems you will have and when you abstain
completely from food you have no problems whatsoever.
The eggs, the meat, fish, milk, and the rest of the heavy
food which you eat carry with them various set-backs
and problems. In any case we are not treating
vegetarianism but fasting and prayer which are the
tradition of this Kingdom of God.
Do not wait until you are given a vision to fast and
pray before you do that. If you want to receive the power
of God and desire to be used by the Holy Spirit for His
service you have to fast and pray. It is only when you do
this that you feel the impact and power of the Holy Spirit
in you. At this time whatever you request of the Father
will be given you. Many brethren used to think that I give
this power to a few members who operate healing homes
and hospitals. That is not true. Those are the people who
practice what I am preaching to you now. Those who
look for the gifts of healing, visions, dreams etc., fast and
pray fervently, and within a short space of time they
receive it. But these people will not disclose how they
came about their power for fear of losing customers.
Necromancers, occultists, soothsayers,
metaphysicians, and the rest of the power brokers are
never pleased with the Father because He has revealed
their source of power and livelihood on a platter of gold to
the common people. Therefore, what you have to do is to
fast and pray whenever you or your relation is sick or
afflicted and normalcy will be restored. If you are told
that somebody is sick at Lagos or anywhere else, you
do not need to go there and pray for the person. Stay
in your house, pray and fast and the person will be

healed over there. If you are tormented by the spirit of
fornication, you only need to fast and pray and the Holy
Spirit will overcome it for you. Whatever is your heart's
desire if you fast and pray the Father will do it without
discrimination. But if you refuse to fast and pray your
problems shall remain with you. You will only be
boasting of having the ability to do one thing or the other
without having the actual power to do anything. Certain
persons in Brotherhood direct those who approach them
for prayer to the Christ Students, or Christ Servants, or
other persons in the belief that the Holy Father has not
given them such power. God does not discriminate.
The power is there for anyone who requests for
it through fasting and prayers. If you want to have
great healing power you have to fast and pray. The
greatest enemy of mankind is food. It is food that causes
you to fall sick, quarrel, fight; it causes all sorts of trouble,
even death.
Necromancers, occultists, soothsayers,
metaphysicians and the rest of the power brokers are
never pleased with the Father because He has revealed
their source of livelihood to the common people on a
platter of gold.
What was the reply of our Lord Jesus Christ when
Satan asked Him to turn stones into bread and eat? He
said it was written that man shall not live by bread
alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth
of God (Matt.4:4/Luke 4:4). Once you fast and pray you
will not suffer from any sickness or affliction. In
Brotherhood somebody had observed 6 days dry fasting.
There are others who have done more.
The essence of fasting is to drain yourself of all
iniquities and afflictions. The food we eat is like

medicine which has to be taken according to prescription.
But because of your greediness and lust, before it is dusk
you have eaten several varieties of food. Too much of
food depresses and dampens your spiritual growth and
otherwise. Food of any kind is a cure for hunger and if
you take more dose than necessary it becomes problematic
to the body. If the purpose of food and eating is to 'cure'
hunger, when, according to the Scripture, there shall no
more be hunger and thirst what shall become of it?(Rev
7:16). Indeed, food will be useless.
I do not want to delve into that area today. Our
topic again is fasting and prayers, the only way to
mortify the flesh. If you fast and pray, you invite the
Spirit of God into you. He takes dominion over you
and gets you completely liberated. Man is like a
garden. For a garden to bloom with flower, it has to be
tended regularly.
From the time of Adam the entire people of the
world were like sheep without a shepherd. But now the
shepherd has arrived to take good care of His sheep
and lead them into the promised land. For that reason
you have to fast and pray and refrain from all manner of
sins to merit His arrival. Whatever you are sick of and the
doctor instructs you not to fast lest you die, if you heed
my advise and fast and pray you will not die and the
sickness will disappear. If it is hypertension, the moment
you fast, it will disappear. There is one Deaconess Ulaeto
who was sick of hypertension and was taken to many
places for cure but to no avail. It was here in Brotherhood
that she had it cured. Whatever your sickness may be,
once you are taken to Brotherhood and somebody, even a
small child, stands up and says 'let,' the sickness
disappears immediately. Whatever you may be suffering

from; afflictions, starvation, penury, etc., all you need do
is to fast and pray.
Take your problem to nobody, because there is
nothing anybody can do except to tell you to fast and
pray. That is something you can equally stay in your
house and do. Brethren, I do not want to be tedious with
you. Let the golden text be read.
Golden Text: Matthew 17:20-21
"And Jesus said unto them, Because of your
unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as
a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this
mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it
shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto
you.
Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and
fasting."
Have you heard the golden text? I started
fasting when I was a kid, and have been doing the same
till date. When I grew up and started fending for myself, I
never used to eat more than half cup of gari. I do not
know myself and how this thing happened. All I am sure
of is that the Holy Spirit does every work. I do not regard
food as being important at all.
When some people go on ministry work, they will
carry assorted foods which is not necessary if they can
have oranges, bananas, groundnuts, and other fruits on the
way and at their destination. I have taught you everything
so that you should be wise by now. Many of you allege
that I hide this power from you. Is that true? Have I not
revealed the source of the power in this Kingdom to you?

When you are fasting and praying do not listen to
what people say. Because many will drum into your ears
how lean and skeletal you have become and would give
you diverse prescriptions. Continue with your fasting and
nothing would happen to you.
Many of you have become so fat and shapeless. I
remain lanky at all times and grow younger and younger
each day. What do you think is responsible for that? In
your case, it is too much water and fats; while in mine it is
the handiwork of the Holy Spirit.
I have taught you so much that you should attain
the accurate knowledge of truth. The world accepts the
fact that there is power in Brotherhood of the Cross and
Star. But the point of dispute is its source. That is what
they do not know. Is the source of that power not laid
bare before you, and indeed the whole world? There is
nothing any person can do, even those who go to
Jerusalem and Mecca and come back. The only source
of power is fasting and prayers.
Brethren you cannot fast and pray and receive the
power of God except you are led by the Holy Spirit and
Our Lord Jesus Christ. Many people in Brotherhood have
since lost appetite for food. But they still complain that
they are afraid they may die if they continue to fast. The
question is why do those who eat very much still die? The
Holy Spirit has nothing to do with food; and this matter
does not concern food. When everything shall be made
anew in the end, you shall hunger and thirst no more; you
shall not experience any sickness, afflictions, pains or
death.(Rev 21:4). These will only be when the Holy
Spirit takes dominion over you.
Our brother Paul said he had the power to do
anything through the Spirit of the Lord dwelling in him

(Rom 15:19). When the Spirit and power of the Lord
dominates you, then you can withstand and conquer any
situation. Even if you are thrown into fire, or sea, or den
of lions, etc., nothing will happen to you.
Brethren, I do not intend to take you further. A
stroke of the cane is sufficient for the wise. Let those who
have ears hear. May God bless His Holy Words. A-men!

FASTING EVERY THURSDAY

FROM SIX A.M. TO SIX P.M.
The worldly churches and the entire world observe
Friday as the day on which Our Lord Jesus Christ was
crucified. But the Holy Spirit has revealed to Brotherhood
of the Cross and Star the Christ was crucified Thursday.
Our Lord Jesus Christ condemned to death at 6 a.m.
crucified on the cross at 9 am and His body was brought
down from the cross and placed in the tomb at 6 p.m.
Consequently, all true Brethren commemorate His
Sufferings and Passion on that day by fasting and praying
every Thursday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
