e are Flangefitt Stainless Ltd, one of the worlds leading stockholders and suppliers of piping packages in Duplex, Super Duplex, 6% molybdenum, stainless steel and nickel alloys from our facilities in Warrington and Aberdeen. Our strength is our versatility. The company was established in 1985 as a stockholder of stainless steel flanges, fittings and pipes for use in the petrochemical and offshore industries offering quality, service and reliability. All our stock materials conform to the highest testing standards, such as Shells ES247 Rev. 2 and NORSOK MDS. The majority of items are also manufactured by companies who are approved to NORSOK M650 Rev. 3. To complement these high-quality stocks we are also able to perform, via our own in-house qualified personnel, physical testing consisting of ferritescope checks, PMI using a NITON XRF Analyser plus non-destructive dye penetrant and

several complex subsea packages of duplex and super duplex pipe, flanges and bends for the United Kingdom Continental Shelf (UKCS), involving manufacturing procedure qualifications and a full range of tests including Charpy impact tests at -60 OC, microstructure tests and G48 corrosion tests. The values here range from 100,000 to 3 million. Incidentally, with our ongoing association with the subsea market, we are also able to offer a design calculation capability via one of our subcontractors. This company has been very useful to several of our subsea clients. These type of multimillion-pound projects are run alongside our day-to-day stockholding operations from the companys head office in Warrington. It is from here in our 3,000 square metre facility that we export to 23 countries around the world, including China,

Australia, United States of America, Norway, etc: all with different scopes of work. This will involve everything from major piping packages to a one metre piece of 1" duplex pipe that was recently ordered on a Friday at about 7pm from a client in Canada, collected on a Saturday at 6pm from Warrington and taken directly to Holland for a major breakdown. This versatility is maintained in our facility in Aberdeen which was established in 2000 and has recently been expanded to 600 square metres. We hold stock at this location and this, together with a machining capability to support the demand for special items on a hotshot basis for this particular market, again maintains our ability to be versatile.
