EDUCATION The Pennsylvania State University, Schreyer Honors College Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering COMPUTER SKILLS SolidWorks Mathmatica Blender MatLab Microsoft Office Machine Shop Certified Lumerical Linux AutoCAD Avizo Fire WORK EXPERIENCE Ingram Engineering Services, Intern May 2013- August 2013 Mentored by a Professional Engineer on various geotechnical and civil engineering plans. Wrote technical reports detailing daily and weekly activity on projects. Worked out in the field overseeing engineering projects and oversaw all safety measures taken. The Pennsylvania State University, Tutor Tutored students in various mathematics courses, ranging from Algebra II to Calculus II. Adapted and tailored each session to students needs and learning proficiency. August 2012 - May 2013 Expected May 2015 GPA: 3.58

North Penn School District, Technology Assistant Summers (2009, 2010) Setup teachers and staffs computers and other digital teaching aids to the school districts standards. Worked with existing computers to improve speed and capabilities. UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH EXPERIENCE The Pennsylvania State University, Research Assistant September 2013 - Present Working with a team conducting research on the effects of IED impact on lower human extremities. Designing models of the lower extremity that are tested using direct impact to determine most affected areas. Using image processing software from Avizo Fire, Blender, and finite elements software to help mesh, analyze, and then model the bone. This creates a visual representation that allows for further examination of the bone. The Pennsylvania State University, Research Assistant January 2013 - May 2013 Conducted research analysis on solar energy panels by using finite element modeling software on nano-systems. Used finite element modeling software (Lumerical) to determine specific designs that will increase efficiency. Estimated mesh of the model, conclude which designs to be fabricated, and finally tested models to find how efficiently they retained green light. These processes were spaced out and gnatt charts were used to help continue efficiency of project.
