SUCCESS MUST BESTOW HUMILITY

The world is too much with us. Getting and spending we lay waste our powers. Is material gained, the only aim of our life? Definitely not! Neither the philosopher, who pursue truth, nor the religious teacher who offers to reveal truth, nor the spiritualist who promises to lead us on to wisdom is likely to carry conviction because mans affliction demands instant remedy and cannot brook any delay. As we thrive towards convenient life, we conflict with our desire to understand the fact that humility is unspoken inner strength that does not require the need for praise. What is meant to say should not be mistaken with shyness or introversion. This introversion indeed should not be confused with total inactivity. This humility finds place in those respect where enervate is preferred over energise, decency over boasting, discipline over arrogant. Success extrudes when it comes to your humility and humbleness. But we rarely find them around us. It is as if they are encased in a narrow street of brooding and boasting dust covered with a lead sky that it seems quite difficult for them to come out. It makes us understand that a man is known by the way he carries himself when he has nothing and the way he behaves when he has everything. Most of the rich and honourable people behave in more humble way than when it comes to the behaviour of poor people. It is so because; the hardships of their harsh life lie dominant over their life. They want to be successful and welcome honour. But The world is dubious and full of seclusion. The path of glory is blindly traced and followed, to where, on which; emphatically, no real glory could be found. The personification of quality and characteristics of others not only curb the mind to think what is real, but also distracts one to the way where the sense of impending doom is rarely felt and thought about. The lofty and haughty thoughts are already perceived by the dreadful and cunning minds at the top positions, where there is no possession of positivity. These agonising thoughts are made to await the medium like television, World Wide Web etc., through which they could be transmitted and instilled among naughty and foolish audience. In this world of mass communication and technology, we find people chasing arrogant and domineering attitude. These chases are not the chase of rat or a rabbit, but the chase of bee entering the lions den. We find humility and humbleness only where there is education education that enlightens and energises the minds, not the one that enervates the mind; Humility is an example of greatness, unpretentious and modest qualities. The frequently heard and known fact is that when we achieve success, the voice of conscience that generates humility is often not heard off. As a result, we find some successful people as cunning and arrogant. But according to me when people achieve success, they appear calm and confident. They try to be generous and kind. This can be exemplified in Gandhi our very own Mahatma Gandhi. I agree to Mahatma Gandhi that one should learn something thinking that he ought to live in this world forever, but should live his life thinking that tomorrow he has to go. He was such a humbled man that exploitation and segregation did not find place in his life.

This can also be exemplified in many people who were great. The great and grand people are close to the understanding of their ultimate destination. They become successful after a hardship throughout their life. Nelson Mandela, the epitome of humility and simplicity, achieved success by inspiring the hopes of several hearts that were segregated into small enclosure. No matter what his life was, but he struggled and scrambled for Democracy, not for himself. It is clearly understood that a person can achieve success not by force or compulsion, but by understanding and inspiring the needs and aspirations of others. Effective and Efficacious approach towards better understanding of the people, lead one to success. The successful people metaphorically reach their ultimate aim i.e. success. Hence, they are secure within themselves. They try to improve their self-esteem and try to be at a par distance from aggression and patronizing attitude. The feeling of being secure makes them to understand the fact and situation of life. Hence, there is no need to brag. The great men of the world sway the world because of their humbleness, whatsoever, the cause may be. It is very interesting to note that the humbleness and kindness of the great men of this mighty world disguised their earlier unsuccessful life. The discussion today is only over their successful life. What they preached, followed, and practised. Hence, it is clearly understood that, "Don't talk about yourself; it will be done when you leave." Successful people try to strengthen their spiritual life. As we all know that a wise man speaks less and thinks more. By doing so, their spiritual life brings their zenith very close to them. They are neither swayed by zephyr nor by hurricanes. Pride, proud and conceit do not find place in their forbearance and humble attitude. Every person bears conviction and may be unsuccessful in at least one of his fields of life. Yet, many people are not ready to accept the superiority of others. They try to show their superiority when it comes to their moment. They try to be arrogant and aggressive so that they are able to dominate the motion. But the same desire to dominate vanishes when a person becomes successful. The thought of being successful diminishes their haughty and patronising attitude. But it is very devastating to note that, when their success ladder steps a bit down, they again come to their domineering and patronising attitude. The effect of the voice of conscience embellishing once mind stating humbleness and greatness leads to success is found to be ineffective and people easily get perplexed over to give up their loose attitudes. The fact of life is unknown, and I agree to Thomas Gray that: The boast of heraldry, the pomp of power, And all that beauty, all that wealth e'er gave, Awaits alike th' inevitable hour:The paths of glory lead but to the grave And so, it is better to understand the final destination and be at good part i.e. humble and kindness, than to show off our aggression and haughty attitude. When we are successful, we become epitome of humility and kindness and the desire to achieve success gradually vanishes. Hence, the atmosphere of peace and harmony comes into existence. I, thereby, conclude by saying that, you have made your bed, and you must lie on it.
