Free-Standing Type 4 Enclosures

Application
Designed to protect electrical and electronic controls, components, and instruments in wet, non-corrosive environments. Equipment can be panel mounted or 19 rack mounted (see Internal Accessories).Typical applications for these enclosures include dairies, breweries, and other food processing activities that may require hose down. The polyester powder coating and Type 4 rating also make these enclosures suitable for outdoor applications.

Finish
ANSI 61 gray polyester powder coating inside and out over phosphatized surfaces. Optional panels are white. An additional protective finish may be necessary if the enclosure is located in a corrosive outdoor setting. Hoffman can supply custom finishes based on environmental requirements. Consult factory for details.
