ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY FINAL PROJECT

Overview:
If this is your first time creating a website, you will learn how quickly and easily it can be done; if
you have created a website before, you can further your skills by learning a new tool or
advancing your knowledge of general web design.
Instructions and resources for using Google Sites (http!!sites.google.com" are provided below,
but you can choose to use other website creation tools, such as #ord$ress
(http!!wordpress.com", #eebly (http!!www.weebly.com", or #i% (http!!www.wi%.com".
Google Sites is a great tool for these purposes, as you can add gadgets to your pages that allow
you to integrate Google &ocs, 'alendar, and other tools into your site.
In this pro(ect, you will be creating a tutorial website where you e%plain and give e%amples of the
following ob(ectives
1. The benefits of learning Anatomy and Physiology
2. The functions and details of each of the 11 body systems
3. The connections between each of the body systems and how some systems work together
to accomplish one goal. (Eample! the "irculatory and #espiratory system works
together to get oygen to all of the cells in the body which needs it for completing
cellular respiration$
%. "lassify the organs in each body system and gi&e eamples of their functions. 'e sure to
use pictures and clear diagrams.
(. "reate )uestions or helpful tips students can use to learn the intricacies of each of the
body systems.
Due date: Monday, 5/26/14 Submit the link to your website to my email

Instruti!ns:
*. 'hoose the website creation tool that you would like to use for this pro(ect. *ote!
If you already have an e%isting website or web+based e+portfolio, you can choose
to add onto it or create a new one.
,. If you don-t already have an account in your selected website creation tool, create
one. (.or Google Sites, you can use your S/IS& Google account."
0. 1nce you login, create a new site. (.or Google Sites, the 'reate button is on the
upper left hand side of the 23y Sites4 page when you first login.
a. Eplore any a&ailable templates and choose one that suits you.
b. *ame your site+ something like your name and then Anatomy and
Physiology ,ebsite (for eample+ -.leem/s Anatomy and Physiology
,ebsite$.
c. "omplete any additional steps in the website creation process
5. 6%plore your chosen website creation tool. 3any website creation tools, such as
Google Sites, are very intuitive. 7ou will find that once you create a site, you can
(ust start e%ploring the menus to learn how to use this tool. 8here are also many
resources available online that you can access to view video tutorials or see step+
by+step tips on how to do a variety of functions in your selected tool. 9ere are
some resources for Google Sites +
