RESOLUTION TO INQUIRE THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH THRU PROVINCIAL HEALTH OFFICE THE
CONSEQUENCES OF THE FISH CAGE INSTALLED AT BAYONGAN DAM OF THIS MUNICIPALITY OF SAN
MIGUEL, BOHOL.

WHEREAS, during the meeting of San Miguel Water System Management (SMWMS) Board were
feedbacks and clamor from our consumer regarding the stink or fishy smell of water being drunk to be
considered ;

WHEREAS, the Bayongan Dam is a source of potable drinking water being distributed in three (3)
barangays;

WHEREAS, it is our obligation to oversee the development and to formulate the guidelines and
policies for effective and efficient delivery of basic services;

WHEREAS, this body agreed to inquire in your good office, the consequences for the presence of
fish crate in the Bayongan dam;

NOW, THEREFORE, motion en masse on its session duly assembled

BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED to inquire the Department of Health Through
Provincial Health Office, the consequences of the presence of fish cage at Bayongan dam of this Municipality
of San Miguel, Bohol.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be forwarded to Office of Provincial Health
Officer, Province of Bohol, Department of Health VII, Regional Office,for information and appropriate action.
