EXPERIENCE PROFILE

Directed large, complex projects involving assessment and clean-up of brownfield properties throughout Ohio under the Ohio
VAP. Advised and assisted communities in CORF/COAF and US EPA grant programs. Assisted with management of similar projects
in Indiana and Michigan.

Conducted contamination investigations, feasibility studies and site remediation, ranging from UST sites to abandoned industrial
properties. Designed and monitored remedial systems for soil, building materials, soil vapor, air, and water.
Worked with plant managers and facility engineers to obtain/update permits, e.g., permits to install/operate, NPDES, de minimis
air discharge, and Class V injection well permits. Completed No Further Action letters (NFAs) for a wide range of clients.
Provided health and safety training to project staff, field services teams and client employees. Developed safety manuals,

To-Sue (CNS). Several years after original CNS was in place, updated the NFA resulting in a new CNS and additional 10-year tax
abatement.

Former Mosler Safe Plant, City of Hamilton Served as the projects Certified Professional. Oversaw Phase I and Phase II property
assessments, conducted asbestos survey and universal waste inventory. Designed and implemented engineering control processes
for lead, PAH, and VOC-contaminated soil. Oversaw soil excavation/disposal, soil remediation, asbestos abatement and building
demolition activities.
Assisted the volunteer/property owner secure the first low-interest loan funded by OEPA Brownfields WPCLF in the State of Ohio.
Following transfer of the property to a new owner, who desired a new CNS, developed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between
US EPA and Ohio EPA. Instrumental in helping this new volunteer secure a $3M CORF grant plus a $500K US EPA BCRLF grant.
Implemented site remediation and obtained new CNS under the MOA.

Teleflex Inc. Succeeded where 5 other engineering firms had tried and failed to meet Ohios VAP requirements for 3 plants that
manufacture specialty components for the aerospace industry and military applications. Reviewed historical data, addressed gaps
and rectified errors. Discovered chromium contamination in the groundwater. Oversaw remediation, navigated the properties
through intricate VAP requirements, and issued NFAs. Secured CNSs for all 3 facilities.

(Former) GM-Globe Lot Conducted assessments to help the new property owner (Al Neyer, Inc.) reduce restrictions placed on
portions of the property as a result of a CNS obtained by the former property owner (GM). Helped Neyer obtain a $750K Clean Ohio
Assistance remediation grant. Developed action plans and headed project to remediate lead-impacted soil and TCE-contaminated
soil and groundwater. Following finalization of Neyers property development plans, prepared and submitted an NFA.

City of Ironton Riverfront Redevelopment & Trails Developed and submitted grant application that resulted in a CORF grant
($1.5M+) for clean-up of a portion of the Ohio Riverfront. Completed this site remediation project, ~$200K under budget and a
year ahead of schedule.

Director of Southern Ohio Operations
Opened and established a new branch office. Responsibilities include; P&L, client management, project management, staff
management and business development. Participation in all aspects of company management which includes staff management and
selection, quality control and quality assurance, new market development, health & safety, subcontractor selection and approvals
and interaction between clients and regulatory agencies.

SUPERIOR ENVIRONMENTAL CORPORATION, Cincinnati, OH 2010 2012
Senior Project Manager
Direct projects, from initial client contact through completion, provide staff leadership and manage business development for the
Cincinnati office. Responsible for investigative scope and methods, conclusions, recommendations and remedial technology
selection based on federal ARAR policies. Oversee the work of 3-10 staff geologists, engineers, scientists and support teams in
conducting Phase I and Phase II property assessments, asbestos surveys, asbestos abatement, AOC identification, COC
determination, groundwater yield determination, soil classification, contaminant distribution, risk-based decision-making (RBCA),

Project Geologist
One of 3 professionals hired to start the companys Environmental Services Department, which provided field services, data
collection, and report preparation for hundreds of Phase I and Phase II site assessments associated with real estate transactions.
Supervised, documented, sampled and reported UST removals. Served on team that designed and installed more than 30 in-situ
soil/groundwater remedial systems, including: pump & treat, above-ground biological treatment of VOC-contaminated
groundwater, soil bio-piles, soil vapor extraction, duel-phase extraction, and air sparging.
Played key role in building department to 20 employees in 3 offices generating nearly $5M in gross revenue annually.

Geologist
Conducted field services such as soil sampling. Monitored well installation/logging and sampling at a pharmaceutical manufacturing
facility. Secured an unescorted security clearance through the NRC to perform pump tests, field testing for salinity to identify
saltwater intrusion at the Salem and Hope Creek generating stations on the Delaware River. Provided daily field documentation of
