Plot

Alchemist named .ydney" they travel to .iberia" $here she eventually finds #imitri/s family in the
small to$n of Baia. 0hile in Baia" she meets another 1.hado$23issed1 bonded pair" 4ksana and
Mark" and a mysterious Moroi man named Abe" $ho tries to force her to %o back to .t. Vladimir&s.
5e eventually coerces her into leavin%" and Rose a%rees after a fallin% out $ith #imitri&s sister
Viktoria. .he then travels to 'ovosibirsk $ith other unpromised %uardians to stake out .tri%oi in
the hopes of findin% #imitri. 0hen she does meet him" she is too stunned by his .tri%oi
appearance to attempt to kill him" and ends up bein% held hosta%e by him. 5e refuses to kill her"
and instead" says he $ill keep her until she decides to turn .tri%oi to be $ith him.

to kill 6issa and then heal her back so that 6issa $ould be 1shado$2kissed1 and bonded to Avery.

her of a .pirit user they kne$ named Robert #oru" $ho claimed to have restored a .tri%oi back to

Back at .t. Vladimir&s" Rose reunites $ith 6issa and shares $hat happened to her in Russia.
Rose&s mother" :anine" is also there" and reveals to Rose that Abe is actually her father. After
a%reein% to re2enroll in school to %raduate" Rose %oes back to her normal life at .t. Vladmir&s.
5o$ever" she soon receives a packa%e from Russia" enclosed $ith the stake she used on #imitri"
and a note from him sayin% he $as not really staked properly" and $as still alive" $aitin% for Rose
to finish school to find him. Rose reali9es that $ith #imitri still a .tri%oi" she has a chance to
restore him to his former life" but only by findin% Robert #oru.
