• Advised on recovery efforts in response to Hurricane Ike.
• Worked with state housing finance agencies to develop a portfolio of available units for displaced families.
• Trained HUD and FEMA Joint Field Office staff on the emergency housing voucher program (DHAP-Ike).
• Monitored and advised on damaged HUD-assisted and FHA-insured multifamily portfolio.
• Advised HUD and FEMA staff on the implementation of Section 689(i) of the Post-Katrina Emergency Management Reform

• Testified before Congress on senior housing policies, multifamily preservation, and housing options for special needs
